The first time I used Ritchie’s Auto, my Honda Accord was not starting properly. I texted Ritchie on a Sunday evening thinking I probably would hear a response back Monday morning during business hours, but he texted me back immediately telling me to bring it in first thing Monday morning. He was able to diagnose the problem and install a new starter within just a few hours. My most recent visit was because my car was making an awful grinding noise. I called Ritchie at 7 PM and he again, advised me to come in the next morning. Ritchie found a small rock wedged between metal plates. He removed the rock AND installed missing screws underneath my car, all for no charge. I believe Ritchie is an honest mechanic who will always take care of his customers. I will never go anywhere else. I highly recommend Ritchie’s Auto Care!!

I wish I could give them less than one star! They are unprofessional, Liars, Have no respect for customers time or money. It’s waste of time and money to do business with them! I do not recommend them

Ritchie is the absolute BEST! I have taken my car there 3 times and I’ll never go anywhere else. For the two major problems he fixed it in less than a day and saved me great amount of money. The third time was a simple fix but I couldn’t start my car. He without hesitation loaned me his car jumper and told me to bring my car back right away and he would fix it. Helped me fix it in less than an hour. Truly the best car repair person I have worked with ever. As a young female it is so nice to know I have someone there to help at all times!

Owner and head mechanic is very honest and doesn’t take advantage of people. He also has previous car dealership experience working on Honda vehicles. Saves me a lot of money when comparing to other places. I highly recommend this place as long as Ritchie owns and operates it.

My initial experience with Richie was great up until he hired the crew that he has now.A seemingly inexperienced practicing SCAM techniques hard up for $ that has yet mastered game. Before taking your car there you better have a good idea of what’s going on with your vehicle & not accept the first thing that they tell you. There may be a slight language barrier ( which is understandable)so pay attention and ask questions. The general communication is not there at all. When calling, I spoke w/ about three different people upon checking on my car after it had been there for 8 hours to receive three different reports on my vehicle. The first guy stated “the reason my car was leaking so much oil is because of the lube chassis and my engine needed to be rebuilt. “ He added that there had been a recall on my vehicle two years ago that has expired and that is why it is leaking oil.😳 I panicked and informed the young man that my car was not leaking any oil at all when I brought it there this morning. I then asked to speak with the receptionist because this is not what we went over while she was entering the info. into the computer. He asked if I wanted to speak to Richie, I said please. While waiting I googled the recall, to find out that the recall was only pertaining to an airbag on my year and model-Nothing at all to do with Oil. I was very upset! Richie apologetically advised he thought I only needed an oil change & they didn’t have time to fix it. I told him that I brought it for him to check a few things along with him to double check behind “Take 5” to make sure that they properly tightened everything up because I was in a rush to get out of town when I took it there. He said that he can send me an Uber when I told him that I no longer had a way to pick up my car and I had to be somewhere by 5:30 As I thoroughly explained this to his receptionist-or I will be charged extra. He offered to look at the car because he now had time I told him no because I Absolutely had to be at that second appointment before they closed at 5:30. So long story made shorter there was nothing done to my Vehicle. I had to Drive to Arlington and pay my second appointment extra for having them stay over 30 minutes until I picked up my responsibilities. And to make it even worse when the young man at the register insisted on charging me until I told him nothing was done to my vehicle and he argued that surely that was a diagnostic And I will be charged. After he found out he came back and charged me for the Uber that I did not request.😡😠😡😠😡😡😡.there was no oil leak they decided to charge me for the Uber pick up that I did not ask for. All for nothing I was highly upset.. Also, I called that morning And it was confirmed that I could bring my vehicle in. Upon getting there, I expressed the issues to the Receptionist. I had her to repeat them back. She told me the car should be ready by 4 PM. I expressed to her that I had to have my car back no later than 430 or five and I will need someone to pick me up If possible. She assured me that they can as they had In the past when needed.uhhhhh!!! I hate this happened because I had a great rapport with Richie, but this has been a total loss Unfortunately. Sorry for the long rant, but This could’ve been avoided and I think it’s worth expressing.

Well, I gave it a 2 star due to they seem to be nice people, but now have to change to 1 and here's why: It's just that the van they sold me was having issues after issues right when I just got it. Unfortunately, I was in a rush to get a van since my wife and I just had our 3rd child. Normally, I would look underneath cars to see if they have bad leaks or not. I wish I did with this one before I bought it, it has a big leak where it was dripping leaving oil stains on the ground. I told them about it, but the guy who sold me the van told me there were no leaks before. I don't know how they not see any leaks when apparently they replaced the timing kit and changed the oil. I had to take the van back to them that same month I bought it since there were issues after issues. Only good thing that they offer was the 1 month engine warranty. The timing kit they replaced recently before I bought it, the timing tensioner was rattling pretty bad, oil shooting out from the vtech solenoid onto the alternator, hole in the intake, check engine light (came on the week after I purchased the van). I told them about all of these issues and had to take the van back to them like 3 times before they were able to fix these issues, but CEL was still there; I just keep deleting it with my obd2 scanner. Interior underneath the floor mats on the carpet was horrible. Battery acid spill all on the carpet in the trunk. The van wasn't even thoroughly clean, my kids found old food and gunk towards the back. Underneath the seats, there were an old biscuit that created a big chunk of mold and it was just filthy. The CEL has been on since I bought the van for multiple codes in regards to catalyst and o2 sensors (5-7 codes) which was brought up to them and apparently they didn't check that out. I replaced all o2 sensors, codes still there. I tried the 30$ cataclean bottle, codes still there. Replaced the cat towards the bottom, codes still there. Ordering other 2 cats and see if that will clear it. Also, I have been trying to figure why the van has so much leaks. Now, I found it which is from the power steering pump. The van hasn't been riding smooth at all since we got it. I work on my own cars and I never had so many issues early on like this before when buying a used car. There's few more issues I left out. This has been a burden since we got this van in December 2024, only been like 6 months now with so many issues. The crazy part is he wrote on the fb ad, excellent condition and no leaks. That was one of the reasons why I have to write this review. With all of this said, the van wasn't worth what they sold it to me for. . basically, sold me a lemon with much more issues even after replacing multiple parts won't clear these codes from the time I bought this van. Plenty of leaks causing different issues like after replacing the ps pump, the leak is still there. Later on, the van started to pull to one side alternating to the other side while the VSA light keeps coming on. So, I took to get an alignment, and van couldn't align itself back, keep kicking it out, it turns out to be steering rack, so the leak is from there and causing the steering wheel to be really loose and you can lose control of your car when the rack is failing. Be weary when purchasing vehicles from them.. P.S I been seeing the guy posted on the fb ads saying excellent condition and no leaks with other cars as well. Beware. It seems like he says this with all cars without checking. I wish I didn't rush to buy this van, normally I look underneath. Just can't believe they would lie like that..

Ritchie Auto Shop was highly recommended, but my experience was very disappointing. I took my Mini Countryman in for an alternator replacement and paid $1,500 for the repair. After only 2–3 weeks, the battery started dying again. When I brought it back, I was told I needed a new motor for $5,000. I got a second opinion and had the car towed elsewhere. The new mechanic found that the alternator belt was missing and there was a loose hose. Once fixed, along with a tune-up, the total cost was $600 and the car runs fine. I strongly recommend getting a second opinion before agreeing to major repairs here.

Folks did a good job with my ford fusion, I have used them several times. Once for a radiator issue and I used them again because my purge valve and shift cable broke. I’ve put a lot of miles on my car so i need a reliable mechanic fairly often and Richie’s has been taking care of me
