Our drive shaft broke on our way to Yellowstone. They were willing to get us in and fixed even though they were closing soon. Thank you for staying past closing. All of the staff are amazing.

would not recommend .poor follow though. dropped off my truck the night before for brake inspection,did not get a call back,had to call them at 4'00.then was told i needed almost all brake parts on the truck.,then if you question them they get snotty about it. took my truck to another shop and found out it was just brake pads and rotors.

Very happy with the service and repair by Rockdale. Was passing through Joliet last Friday and my truck died. Had it towed to this AAA recommended shop at about 2:00 AM. Left a message asking if it could possibly be repaired Saturday so we could continue home. The owner of Rockdale called promptly when they opened and then adjusted his schedule to get it repaired. He discovered that the alternator had gone bad and he discussed with me saying that the battery appeared to be ok but it was old and gave me the option whether to have it replaced rather than just doing it. This gave me confidence that I was dealing with a reputable shop. When done at 1 pm (amazing turnaround time) the owner was nice enough to pick us up at the hotel 5 miles from his shop and take us to pick up the truck (unbelievable service!). He had repaired the truck and charged what I felt was a reasonable fee - though he would not have had to as we had no other option. I will probably never have the opportunity to use this shop again, but if I lived in the area this would be my shop! I highly recommend them based on my experience with Rockdale.

All im going to say for the years ive been taking my work and physical, they can fix anything that ive experienced, electrical, etc and yes better than dealership. Issues your dealership cant fix call Scott at Rockdale, you can tell him J'Nean sent you.

I happened to have a tire incident on 80 and got off on meadow to find a place to pull over and figure out what to do, I had no idea that Rockdale Automotive was right there but I am so glad that they were because they helped me get back on the road quickly and safely. So far I've been quite happy with my experiences with Rockdale Automotive and the owner has been great to talk to and very knowledgeable. Having only limited interface with them and the cost of the work I've had done to two vehicles, I was between a rating of four or five. I went with five because, at this point, I trust the owner and that is HUGE these days. I also much prefer to support a small local business. But again, the trust factor is very important when going to a small business as there is a direct connection to their income and their desire to recommend work that may or may not be necessary. I definitely like them and would recommend them at this point.

Earlier this year, a work acquaintance highly praised Rockdale Auto to me and I decided to take my older model vehicle to them for an inspection and repairs. What I experienced was priceless. Why? Because the owner, Scott, explained everything to me in simple terms and the work performed was great! At the time my wife was driving this car to work (70 miles round trip), and we needed a reliable car.
