Please do not take ur car hear so bad my price went from $800 to over $2800 and the car was still not fixed at all car sound worst than wen I took it to him after two weeks very poor results

Had them fix my gear shifter and then I end up with my car pouring power steering fluid. Never had this issue with my car before and I've had this car for 5 years. I leave it with this scam of a mechanic and now I have to spend another 1200 to get this fixed. SCAM COMPANY. HORRIBLE SERVICE THEY WILL BREAK SOMETHING IN YOUR CAR JUST SO THEY CAN SQUEEZE MORE MONEY FROM YOU.

We’ve used Rod’s for years but his service failed on two of my vehicles and he failed to back up his work. On my classic Chevy truck he claimed I needed a replacement carburetor (because he doesn’t know how to work on carburetors), but then installed one in worse shape than the original, but not only that, it was missing a part, and had another part on it that was bent, but the kicker is, he didn’t even tighten the carb to the manifold so there was an air gap causing it to not run correctly and eventually stalling out. When I towed it back to the shop he refused to back up his work and refused to work on the truck at all. So I was just out $500 for shoddy work that didn’t even need doing.

Rod is a hands-on owner who has a very good staff, and works on the cars himself. He seems to have an encyclopedic knowledge of all makes of cars. He works on my Mercedes and my Subaru, and does a great job with both. And he is very pleasant and easy to work with.

I will start with that review that i recommended to this place by the owner friend that he knows for years. I took my car in 2009 Lexus salvage car for a noise that making all the time he took the car in told me to leave it and he will check . The flowing day he called told me you have bad breaks bad rotors oil leak water leak he estimate about $2000 and nothing about the noise he didn't mention nothing .he called me to tell me about bushing that need to replace and want to charge me another $800 told him no its not worth it cause we getting almost $3000 i paid for the car $6000 .so i came to pick up the car i wanted to pay with my credit card he's secretary told me you can do Zelle i said ok. After she charged me then he's secretary called ROD the owner came out from he's office and told me this car really bad not worth it .and he told me that what trigger me the noise you complain about it what originally i came its the ABS pump its about to go bad and it will coast $3000. I told why u didn't told me that from day one when you inspected the car ? Why now after i pay you for what I didn't ask but still agree .he told me just sale your car i was shocked and BTW my car had half tank of gas when i picked my car it was on the fume zero zero gas so guys think well and be smart don't take your car to this scammer and never ever pay in ZELLE. To this transaction shame shame on you and i am sure he lost he's friend for what he did to me and maybe other as well no wonder he don't have 5 stars

After reading the reviews I thought this would be a good palce to take my truck. Besides some upgrades, i needed 2 (TWO)main issues fixed asap. After messing one up they corrected it and then tried to charge me more money for thier mistake. They waivered the charge (was not about to pay them ). After 2 weeks the second issue still persists and when talking to them Rod decided he did not wish to work on my truck again. I feel like Rod was a good mechanic at one time with integrity. But now is merely interested in easy jobs and charging higher than normal rates. Its a shame. As i am part of an old car club and also help run a youtube channel with a substantial following. This experience will go in an episode of, mechanics not to go to in LA. Apparently Rods work has a gurantee. I imagine many have not gotten that service.
