Best mechanics in town, they are honest, and priced reasonably. I needed bearings replaced, another place in town quoted $900, they were able to do it for $198. A lot of chain repair shops will RIP you off and then some, the guys at Sal's are upfront, honest, and know what they are doing.

In all honesty this is a great place.. And its great because of the mechanics. I moved to fla a couple years ago and have been taking my car here ever since. Great service from down to earth guys. Chuck is awesome. He explains things to you so that you know whats going on so you feel comfortable with the service being provided. I recently took my vehicle back and again, and I was NOT let down by the service Chuck and Chaz provided. Great guys. They love what they do and it shows in their service. Fixed an issue that about three other mechanics couldn't figure out or at least they tried to scam me. However, at Sal's I've been coming here for about two years now, and every time so far they have been nothing but helpful and honest, which is what I love. They even have the kindness to SHOW you exactly where and what the issue is before completing the repair. Their pricing is exceptionally reasonable and based on how long it takes them to do a repair, not based on what the repair is. The service was fast and outstanding. My wife's car broke down 3 miles away at 9 am and said bring it in we will see what we can do. It was towed and they diagnosed and repaired it in a few hours. This place is reasonably price and we were treated very nicely by the staff. We will definitely be back for future services.

Very disappointed took my gmc to sals garage for problem that I'm having they diagnosed and said it was bad wheel brings I was thinking that they had automotive skills but after repair and 1098.00 dollars when I picked up my vehicle I still have the same problem took it back the next day I believe it was Sam who said that they rebalanced a tire and lo and behold they screwed that up when I got it back the tire was shaking and vibrating like a hula dancer I still have the same problem now that I had when I took it there I'm not trying to bab mouth you just telling the truth of the matter they gave me a bad diagnosis an costly repair that was not really nessary so beware of who you trust when it comes to spending your hard earned money vehicle still not repaired

Disappointing Experience – Poor Communication and Unfinished Work I’m disappointed to say the least after my experience with Sal’s Garage. The shop was recommended to me as a place that does quality work, and I was told they were honest and fair. However, my experience has been the complete opposite. I purchased a car in Florida and had it inspected by Sal's Garage shop manager. The car was given a clean bill of health, with only a few minor issues noted—chief among them, the back windows not operating. I asked the manager specifically about the condition of the car, including the electrical system, windows, radio, transmission, and clutch. He assured me the car was in good shape and that it was really nice overall. Based on that reassurance, I asked if they could handle getting the windows functioning and address the carburetor issue with the disconnected electric choke wire. I was told "yes." However, after nearly two months of waiting and numerous issues, I finally got the car back, and it was far from what was promised. As soon as the car was unloaded, the rear window dropped and became non-functional, and one of the other rear windows wasn’t working either. To make matters worse, the interior door panels were missing, all five window tracks were messed up, and the windows still weren’t functioning properly. The electronics were also in disarray, with multiple gauges and the radio not working. From a mechanical standpoint, the issues were even worse. The rear axle seal was leaking, the driveline had a noticeable vibration, and the shifter and clutch were full of "slop" and needed attention. In short, the car was in much worse condition than I was told, and many more problems were uncovered than were disclosed during the inspection. To add insult to injury, when I tried reaching out to the shop for clarification and to discuss these issues, I received no response to calls or texts. I don’t mind putting in the work to fix a car, but if I had known the true state of the vehicle, I likely would have reconsidered the purchase. The fact that the work they were supposed to do wasn’t completed at all has left me extremely frustrated. As of now, I’m having another company handle the repairs that Sal's Garage was supposed to complete. I’m genuinely upset with the service, the lack of communication, and the wasted money. TODATE 7000 TO FIX WHAT THEY DID NOT. Update 1-12-2026 I would love to say the car was better and driving. It’s been off the road sense I received it. Sals clean bill of health. = transmission rebuild. New clutch. All of driveline rebuilt. Motor rebuild. Broken motor mounts. Hole in the water pump. Cracked exhaust manifolds 4 inch long. Steering geometry rebuilt. Because every part of the steering was worn out. I expected an old car with issues. Just not this after getting a good report from the shop. Emailed shop call the shop never answer We are now a full rebuild of every major system of the car. Motor. Trans. Clutch. Driveline. Transaxle. All on a car that was given a clean bill of health.

I took my 64 Chevy nova to Sam For a front and alignment, he did an awesome job and today I took my 2015 Chevy SS sedan so he could put some rear shocks on it. Sam is amazing. He did an awesome job thanks bud and he even gave me a senior discount cause of an old guy.
