Scam business, awaiting to go south. Too bad for the old man's efforts. Few of the scams: break something, so that you back in a few days. Bad front break pad install, and then you need rear brakes (most drum rear are lifetime); the usual drop from the lift also works. When questioned over these practices, the owner pulls the middle-eastern "who needs whom" attitude. Not afraid to post about this scam, as these bad actors (Joe) would not be getting away with this strategy for long. Maybe this would have worked in the 90's. I'm out, but "fork the customer" is not a good strategy.

I stopped by the shop with a truck I was looking to purchase. These guys are honest thorough and give you a full list of repairs the truck would require to get an inspection. If I owned an Isuzu this is where I would go. There's a reason why the lot is always full of trucks people love this place.

Terrible, I would never go back to this money grab! Never!. Update* PLEASE STOP LYING!!! I went to Broadway Brakes Auto and got EVERYTHING fixed so please save the lies. You only lowered the price after you tried to overcharge me for a service that i didn't ask for Trying to act like you decided not to do the work is a lie. Yeah okay...whatever makes you sleep at night. If that was the case why did you say if I get another estimate to call you back? I just went somewhere else and did the repairs.

Bought a used Isuzu NPR Diesel, these guys were great. Took a flight in from Minnesota and drove it back. They sold it to me for a great price and it runs great. These guys are honest and do the customer right. I would not hesitate to do business with them again. Thanks

I dealt with John ,new NPR Isuzu. He thought he sent quote, but did not. He was extremely difficult on time frames and delivered truck after numerous dealer schedule changes, today!! Nice guy, good price, but for 60,000, I suffered a ton of grief!! Delivered with a half tank of gas.Since it was bought chasis only ,could not inspect (Mass.DOT).He did not know that?? Now has to refund me. Delivered with mud flaps, look like one (1) was taken out of dumpster? I wish I could be more positive, but these facts, are one hundred percent. Wow!! I think owner owes me something for all the aggravation I went through. Not a happy customer!!

Spent about 2 months this summer rebuilding and painting a 2001 Isuzu NPR flat bed and went to Salami's for all the parts. Pedro in the parts department was patient, funny, super talented at locating everything I needed. Then, after I put it all together, Christopher, the service manager, took it in and gave it a thorough once over and replaced major brake parts, and fixed an AC problem, diagnosed and fixed running light and other electrical issues. Pretty quick, affordable, and trustworthy. They not only repair Isuzus but all manufacturers of diesel trucks. They are very popular and busy but always make the time, and really go above and beyond. Highly recommend them to anyone needing heavy duty truck repairs. Saving up to buy a new one from them!

Just called 5:56 to be exact to ask about a part. I got told to call back from Sebastian in the morning he already clocked out ; if you don’t want to work your full shift find another job. Any sales man that wants money for the company would have took a 4 min call. Bad for business I’ll take it to someone else.

Christopher and the staff got my driver with a warranty concern in right away and was very helpful to her. I was super pleased with the service seeing how this truck came from a dealer in Maryland and was running a route in Boston - they got right into it and got the truck and my driver taken care of. They also provided great information and was very attentive to our situation. A+ experience while dealing with a stressful situation. Thanks!

We all know how painful and stressful buying a vehicle can be, but my experience at Salami Isuzu of Boston was the complete opposite. This was one of the most significant purchases I’ve ever made, and it ended up being the least painful. From start to finish, I worked directly with the owner, Joe, his finance guy, James, and the service team. Every single person was professional, welcoming, and treated me like a lifelong customer. By the time I left with my truck, it felt more like I had just done business with close friends or family. I arrived at the dealership an hour early (the only time I could get a ride). The owner, Joe, personally walked me through everything. Then he told me he’d bring it up the street to fill it with gas—but I was so excited to drive it, I told him not to worry. Instead, he reached into his pocket, handed me cash, and said, “Take this and fill it yourself.” When I tried to refuse, he insisted. That gesture says everything about how they treat their customers. This is the largest Isuzu dealership in Boston, but it felt like a small, local, family-run operation. At no point did I feel like I was being “sold” anything. The truck—and the experience—spoke for itself. Joe and the entire team, you’ve earned a lifelong customer and friend. Thank you for one of the best buying experiences I’ve ever had. I’m already looking forward to the next one!

Made an appointment a week ahead of time because my truck had a few things that needed to be fixed. The night before the appointment, I dropped it in so they could work on it first thing in the morning. Nothing was done! I picked it up at the end of the day the same way I left it. No apologies whatsoever about wasting my time. Business as usual, I guess. The level of carelessness and lack of consideration left me in disbelief.

Took my company box truck there for preventive maintenance. As soon as my driver picked it up, the check engine light came on and started having power issues. After taking truck back to them a few times and a few k dollars later, truck was never fixed and my company had to get it towed to the dealer. If you want to change a light bulb, they can do that. Other than that, I would not trust them not even with an oil change.
