Today I went there for a wash and after an hour wait the staff member waved me to grab my car and when I got there I quickly noticed he had locked my keys in the car and it wouldn’t open. He started laughing and his other co worker called the manager to bring a slim jim to open the car. Without consulting me the manager comes out to try to open it. I had my 2 year old daughter with me who was dying for a nap after a long wait. I quickly stopped them before it they tried to open it and told them my husband had a spare and could bring it by shortly. They said ok. The manager was on her way back into the store when I told her I wanted a refund for that wash. She said ok and came back with cash. She apologized but was the only one to do so. She would not have given me a refund if I didn’t ask for it. She said next time and of course there will never be a next time after this. Very unprofessional how everything was handled. They had no regard for my time and they just let me solve the problem without really providing any support. I would have liked for them to stop what they were doing and go through options with me, treat me like a real customer because this kind of review will hurt their reputation.

Updated comments. I wanted to bring my car in today but realized that the discount offer from Cameron expired. I reached out and Cameron was willing to extend the offer again. I met Tina, the shift manager, and she was understanding, helpful and friendly. I had the hand wash and wax service with discount. My car was clean and shiny. I am really happy with the help and customer service from Cameron, Tina and the gentlemen from the detail department today. Thank you very much for a great service. I purchased an ultra wash $40 yesterday. I really disappointed and it was totally wast of money. I feel like it was just a 1 star wash plus they made my dashboard and tires wet (not sure if it was dressing or they just made it wet). When I inspected the car there were still many yellow dots/spots on the exterior. I pointed out and I was reasonable enough to borrow a rag and removed them myself. The gentlemen who worked on my car didn't even bother to hang around to see if I'm satisfy with the car. Another young men came up and told me the yellow dots/spots were from the tree and they dropped onto my car when they worked on it. I told them that if they just dropped on it, then it is easy to remove them. The fact is that it is hard to remove; so it tells me that it's not recently. I also told him that I didn't even make you guys remove them, I removed them myself. He walked away. Luckily, a gentlemen from the detail department came over and asked me what the problem was. I told him and continue to inspect the interior. Right away, I can see dusts and spots were still on my driver seat and on carpet. I pointed to him and said I didn't mean to be picky but you can see it was clearly still dirty. He agreed and took my car back to correct the problem. Initially was not really happy because it was the ultra wash. However, his sincere and great customer care made it up for everything. I will not spend more money than 1 star wash there again. I think the owner should retrain the other two employees and praise the gentlemen at the detail department.

Wow. So impressed with San Diego Car Care. I am getting ready to move and I had scheduled a detail which canceled at the last moment. I had no options on such short notice, so stopped by San Diego Car Carr for the first time. I selected an option for about $35. The whole process from the lady who coordinates those who work there, to Ramona the cashier, to the people who actually vacuumed and cleaned my car it was just top-notch. My car looks excellent, is super clean and they took the time to get into the crevices and everything so I start my trip fresh. Highly recommend.

$70 later and I feel like I am leaving San Diego Car Care with a new car... everyone there is so kind, approachable, and helpful. This place is a GEM and their service is excellent. I paid Best Buy $300 and this $70 detail was WAY WAY better. George cleaned my car and he is outstanding at his job!

Don’t take your car here unless you want a brand new dent in the side of it. What a joke. I even gave a tip before realizing they had dented my car. It would be helpful for Juan, the supervisor to take a class on customer service. The entire staff at this location should be ashamed of themselves for accusing customers of lying. Clearly this is not the first time this has happened since they are all clearly defensive when you question their service. Absolutely unacceptable! I will tell anyone and everyone I know about my experience today.

First time I've ever brought my vehicle here. Was very impressed with professionalism, care and cleanliness. As far as others posting about things being stolen out of their vehicle, I did not experience this at all. In fact some cash was on the front seat at the end of my wash that had unknowingly fallen between the seats. I will certainly be back.

Just got an awesome car wash inside and out January 9th, 2025 10:30am about. Paid 42.00 and I’m so happy. The attention to detail was great for a quick car wash.
