I had my car repaired here snd i just had to write a review. The owner was so helpful and honest and as a woman i dread having to deal with car repair issues but this was the first time i felt totally at ease and the work he did only cost me 110 bucks. The part alone was going to be expensive but they called around trying to find it used for much less and when my husband found it first at pick a part he happily agreed to put it in for us still and worked with the part not being perfect since it was used. Totally awesome experience. Fixed my car fast and it's running great now. I seriously couldn't be happier! Thank you guys! Job well done!! I will be recommending you to my family and friends and anyone who reads this trust me.. I'm a very picky person.. You should take your car here!

Don’t go to this shop to get your Brakes and lights inspection for salvage certificate. Very dishonest owner and employees. No matter what they will find you a reason not to pass so you have a choice to fix it at their shop and get it done or go somewhere else and that after they charge the fees ahead of time. Before I paid them I asked them to look at the car from the outside and see if anything needed to be done. They said no and after they took the money they told me the fog lights need to be connected or removed completely. So I paid them an extra $75 just to remove the fog lights and put them back on.

WATCH OUT !! Jerry is a CROOK BE CAREFUL, Jerry gave me an estimate too high but I already invested $90 for the inspection so I said go ahead but when I came back to pick up the car he said I need to pay him $300 more because they spent too much time more the estimated but I picked up the car at the time we agreed lol the DIDN'T WANT TO GIVE ME MY KEYS TILL I pay the extra $300 so AVOID GOING HERE ALSO another customer got an estimate for inspect brakes $50 (NOT TO REPLACE) to replace a brake light bulb $50 so absurd

I have been going to this place since I got my first car when I was 16, I'm now 38 and I gotta say I've never trusted mechanics but Jerry is very honest and gives great prices and I wouldn't take it anywhere else, this is the place to go if you want it done right at an affordable price, I've been coming for years and will keep coming even tho I live in Los Angeles now he's the only one I trust to touch my cars it's worth the drive. Took our van in for oil/filter change and it was noted we needed 4 tires..as the 4 on our van were damn near bald. A good price was given and the tires were put on/balanced etc..in under an hour as promised. Jerry..the owner/mgr is always very helpful.

Very impressed with the manner in which the Smog test was conducted. Spoke to the manager over the phone prior to me visiting the business, he was very polite and courteous and gave me a clear turn around time for the completion of the test. Upon driving up to the business I was immediately greeted and checked in, I was informed that it will take 30 minutes at the most to complete. Time taken to finish the test was less than the estimated time provided. Service was quick and fast and customer service was outstanding. Would highly recommend this business and definitely convinced me frequent this place as a repeat customer.

Another great experience! I can’t say enough good things about Santa Ana Smog and the owner Jerry. I brought in my Chrysler 300C which had some serious issues including a bad fuel pump, worn motor mounts, a much-needed brake fluid and radiator flush, plus a radiator hose replacement. Jerry and his team took care of everything with skill, honesty, and professionalism. What really stands out about this shop is their integrity. They don’t try to upsell you or gouge you with unnecessary repairs. That’s rare these days. Jerry genuinely cares about doing quality work and making sure your car is safe and running right. I needed a brake and light inspection for my 2003 Honda CRV. Orange County does not have many shops that will do this inspection, but if you find one it's not cheap! Some places charge for the inspection on top of a certificate fee and the waiting time is around 1-2 hours. And, not all places will do a free re-inspection. Don't waste your time or money! Not only is this place right across from the Santa Ana DMV, but they are pretty quick and charge around the same price as the other shops. Some shops just want your money, this place was willing to help me pass the inspection and they won't charge for a re-inspection. Trust this place! After everything that needs to be done for a salvage title, the last thing you need are sketchy shops just trying to make money off of you!

I rode my bike down here yesterday from LA because I was told this was one of the only places that would accept my rear lights as I had them. Once I got here, Jose said back lights are fine, but he needs to speak to the Owner Jerry, who is on vacation) to see if the front ones are allowed. He even got on the computer and read some things to try to see if he could find information. While reading, confirmed that the back lights were fine to be flush. So it's just the front ones that have an issue. Since he couldn't find info on the front lights, we either had to wait for a response from the owner or I had to swap them out. I was told if I change them, and came back that it would all work. Great, I can easily fix the lights. He also did take my number in case the owner answered about the lights I came with so he could inform me. I came back today with my front lights as Jose asked of me, ready to get my paperwork, and of course, he says to me that the back lights are wrong! I was a bit taken aback by this information.. he tells me that he DID NOT say the back lights were okay yesterday. As if I was just going to come back down here if I didn't have everything fixed that he told me. I asked him why he didn't call me if he had this info, and said he was too busy. Haha, so seems like they are understaffed and the owner shouldn't be going on vacation and leaving his employees not knowing how to do their jobs! I am 100% certain of what we discussed and now regret not recording the interaction. Jose straight up lied to my face! So of course I'm not going to recommended this place. As they completely wasted my time and might do the same to you!

At first, the main issue — my check engine light — didn’t get fully fixed, but after I spoke with Jose, everything changed. He personally assured me he would take care of it and make sure my car was running right before giving it back to me. He kept his word — the check engine light problem was fixed, and my car is now driving great. What impressed me most is that Jose went above and beyond. Not only did he resolve the main problem, but he also fixed a couple of extra things that weren’t even part of the repair. My driver’s seat had an electronic issue and wasn’t working properly — he fixed that. The windshield mirror was loose and kept falling — he fixed that too. I really appreciate his professionalism, honesty, and the extra effort he put in to make sure I left satisfied. Thanks to Jose, I’m a happy customer and will definitely be coming back for any future service needs. Highly recommend! And a personal thank you to Jose — I truly appreciate everything you did for me, and I apologize if I came across as rude at the beginning. Thank you, Jose.
