I needed new brake pads, after Mr. Seehra inspected the brakes, he showed me where the rotors had been damaged and he took the time and explained to me that if he was going to do this job, that he was going to do it correctly...and I agreed...and he did an excellent job with excellent, quality parts and my car is riding more smoothly than ever. I highly recommend him to do any job and he will do it correctly and do it with you in mind. He will definitely be working on my cars in the future.

This was the best experience I've ever had at an automotive shop. They were polite and friendly, took my car same-day for an A/C refill/leak-check and had it ready in two hours. Rates were entirely reasonable. I don't plan to go anywhere but these guys for the rest of my time in Missouri.

Mr. Seehra is the most honest mechanic I have ever had the pleasure of working w/. I have been going to him for the last few months and will continue to do so as long as I am in the STL area. I drive a 20 year old Honda CRV; when I first came in, I had a list of repairs my prior mechanic had given me. Mr. Seehra immediately told me that several of them were BS and did not need fixing, which saved me hundreds if not thousands of dollars. If you have car problems and need a no nonsense/honest opinion on what is wrong w/ your vehicle, I strongly recommend you give Seehra Automotive a visit.

I have been going to Seehra for 25+ years! He can fix anything. I had a Jaguar (not the top of the line) that he fixed with no problem. He’s very reasonable and he gets it done in a very timely manner. He doesn’t look for things to fix—he has more customers than he needs…and yes honesty is one of his best qualities ❤️

They were nearing the end of the work day and the gent who helped me was more than accommodating and service my car as needed when he could have stated it was too late in the day. Seehra is a hidden University City gem. He took the time to share his knowledge of things from the best gas to buy to motor oils to avoid, explained why the AC compressor he recommended was more expensive and worth every penny, and ended up charging me less than he initially quoted. Perhaps most impressively, I had mentioned the car was burning oil because I must add some between oil changes with no drips on the ground. When I picked up the car, Seehra said he had tested the engine and the issue is very minor, not really oil burning. Turned me onto an oil additive and showed me how to replace the pcv valve myself if necessary. At this point, I don't think the $50 dealer part is even necessary! How many mechanics out there have the customer service savvy and integrity to forego a little marginal cash to secure a loyal customer? I trust this man with my cars.

I called this place to schedule my car’s safety and emissions inspections, and the communication was very poor. The person who answered the phone had a very bad attitude. I called three times to clarify the inspection details, and each time he became more impolite and impatient. At one point he even said to me, “Why are you bothering me? I’m busy.” So, I decided to find another place. Bye

Incredibly capable mechanic, fixed my car after its wires were devoured by squirrels and hadn't worked for ages, and it was quick easy, and extremely fairly priced. I had a bunch of lights pop up when it started snowing. I just moved to the area and the owner was incredibly helpful and kind. He made sure I wasn’t spending more than necessary. I went to autozone prior to this and they told me what to fix. He said that he didn’t think it was correct and didn’t want to do unnecessary work. He fixed what he thought was wrong and my car was fixed!! He told me to come back if there was any issues. He was really helpful and explained everything he thought was going wrong. & he wanted to make sure I was taken care of after moving to a new city. This will definitely be my main mechanic for now on.

Took my car in last summer because my A/C wasn't working. They gave it a recharge and no issues since! Really nice folks, and they took me in same day and had my car back to me 20 minutes later. Highly recommend as a mechanic. Very experienced mechanic who is upfront and detailed in the explanations. I had brakes done at another mechanic just over a year ago and the they didn't bleed the brake fluid or check the calipers when they did the job. Ended up with seized calipers and having to redo the rear brakes, rotors and calipers because of that. Seehra Automotive went out of their way to stay late and get my car done within the same day so I could go to work the next day. Really appreciate it and a great guy and experienced mechanic shop.

As many others have described, Mr. Seehra is honest and will describe exactly what work he is performing on your car. I initially assumed I had one expensive problem and he assured me it was something smaller and after ordering the part, was able to fix and finish my car the same day I dropped it off. He also went ahead and cleaned what’s under the hood cuz it was pretty dirty and messy when I brought in. I feel so happy to finally find a reliable and honest person to take care of my car.
