Fine workers-very quick and professional. They were able to accommodate my rare engine oil type. Great price.

Engine light was on needed them to see what was wrong, they do the oil change come back and say my "check engine light was on because my gas cap wasn't turned 3 times". For 1 I own a 2013 Ford Mustang okay? And they were built with NO GAS CAP! And now my engine light is back on. I'm reccomend going somewhere else.

Asked for Full Synthetic Oil. Got plain old regular Oil. The vehicle has over 200,000 miles and didn’t even get High Mileage Oil. The check sheet showed they checked all the lights and one of the headlights had been out for a couple of days. We were in and out so fast I was beginning to wonder if they did anything other than change the oil. Not going back to Sehome Express Lube again.

I appreciate how fast and efficient the service was but when you spend $90 on a synthetic oil change and they just change the oil they don’t check filters or vacuum the interior. I can pay just as much at the car dealership, which I’ll be going to from now on.

I usually like to change my own oil but was in the midst of a busy week so I decided to get it done professionally. Went in, service was friendly enough. When I left I opened my hood to ensure everything was done right and first thing I noticed is that the oil cap wasn’t replaced and was sitting on my battery, then I checked my oil lever and it was way high. I told them when I came in that my car takes 4 1/4 quarts which is what my Hanes manual says and they filled it to 4 1/2, a number which the manager told me he found online. When I went in and tried to talk to the manager he was very unfriendly saying that I didn’t check it o level ground and what not. When I brought up the missing cap he simply replied “well no shop is 100%”. The entire interaction struck me as very unprofessional and if I do get my oil changed at a shop again it will not be from these people.

Edit: 4:55pm the owner or manager idk who comes out of the building while I'm sitting here calling other places to find an oil change and yells and cusses me for leaving him this following bad review! " If you're going to close at 445 when you say you're open until 5 post your hours. Place was literally empty with an open sign at 445. Waste of time now everyone else is closed won't be back." To whoever screamed and cussed me sitting in your supposedly open parking lot: Adjust your hours and don't cuss your customers in the front of your business. A bad review for being closed when you say you're open? Just wow. You should go to the gym and use a punching bag you got problems.

Excellent customer service and extremely fast. The staff and policy follows covid requirements. When I asked to have my air filter check because of the smoke, the staff member looked at it an informed me that it wasn't necessary to do so. This shows that they are respectful to their customers. I will be returning here in the future.

Standard oil change, super friendly service, fair price, and super fast! We got in and out in about 15 minutes if that and made it easy to get my Saturday errands done! Thank you! Keep it up!

The common theme of all the low reviews continue. All they did was change my oil and filter. Got charged full service 4X4 oil change with a receipt saying they checked and topped off all my fluids. Got home to see that none of my easy to get to fluids were filled, meaning coolant, power steering fluid, brake fluid, and windshield washer fluid. Most of my oil changes take about 30 minutes because it’s 4 wheel drive. They did it in 15 minutes, which made me suspicious. So when I got home I checked my easy access fluids. Sure enough, they were low and never got filled. But my receipt says they did. If they didn’t check the east fluid, I’m pretty sure they didn’t check the more complicated fluids. I only went here because it was empty and no line. There’s a reason for that. Read the rest of the reviews……you will see a common theme. This occurred on a Saturday February 11, 2023.

I’ve been coming here for about five years. They used to be fantastic—friendly, local business that cared bare minimum and had okay customer service. If there was something wrong they noticed during an oil change or any check-up, they’d tell you. Free of cost. In the last year, it seems they’ve come under new ownership. Whenever I take my car to get an oil change there, I get massive leaks because they don’t put the filter in right, even though they tell you they did. Instead of fixing it, they now tell you to go to Sterling automotive and will hide problems your car is having. Asking if there’s anything wrong, they’ll tell you they cannot tell you that and will not, and—guess what—you should go in to Sterling automotive and pay $120 for base level diagnostics. The oil changes gradually went from $50 to $65 for a sedan, and whenever you go in they act like you’re an inconvenience just being there for a service. I only have puzzle pieces, not the full picture, but it’s pretty easy to see what’s going on. I took my car somewhere else. The leaks stopped. Cheaper prices. Better service. Don’t go here. They don’t even want your money.

DO NOT BRING YOUR VEHICLE HERE. This place is a complete joke. I pull up and instantly greeted with a snarl from the two guys working there, almost like I was doing a disservice to them showing up 2 hours before close to a completely empty shop. First thing they tell me (without saying hello) is that it’s going to cost $75 premium to do job. I laugh and ask for his logic. Tells me the vehicle takes extra oil. I knew it only took 4.5 quarts, so I knew instantly it was a sad attempt to gouge. Their receipt says they topped off fluids along with a number of other basic items, they did not do a single thing. 0/10 customer service. The two guys working on Friday Dec 22 at 3pm deserve to get fired. They are not fit for customer service, or apparently how to do a basic oil change service. I do not trust that they even put a new filter in given the job took less than 10 min with an immediate fill. DO NOT BRING YOUR VEHICLE HERE. As a long time customer of this location, I will never be back. I will be telling my friends and family the same. Places like this do not deserve to be in business.

Three times I’ve tried to give them business. The one time we got in they were over $100 and had little advice. This was when they were Havoline. Then twice more in the last week-and they now have Valvoline signs up. First time the guy said they were closing and going to lunch (at 2:30) after I sat there for 5 min obeying the sign to stay in my car while they were in the shop chatting. The second time was on Monday and they were closed (1ish pm). Three strikes. I drove to Ferndale and got great, fairly quick service, a synthetic oil change, advice with limited pressure use of a coupon and under $100.

I chose to give them business as they are locally owned. I was refused service my previous visit as it was an hour before close and they only had two guys. I tried again Friday before leaving on BC bender. Again my presence was unwelcome despite no one being there. I had questions about grades of oil and service intervals. The advisor was unable to answer any basic questions and told me “I don’t know where you think you are, but this isn’t Valvoline. This is Sehome Express”. I was confounded at the attitude and didn’t have time to go elsewhere. While I pondering the situation, buddy approached and was like “what’s up are you gonna do this or go somewhere else?” If I wasn’t in a time crunch, I would have left. Upon completion of my $130 oil change I received zero feedback or consult on any additional services my vehicle needed. I would highly recommend visiting a Valvoline shop. Both Ferndale and Burlington locations have provided outstanding customer service with a staff that is well trained, professional and friendly.

Just got an oil change and new wiper blades! Didn't take more than 15 minutes and the employees were incredibly kind. I was also excited to see a fellow girl working in the field. If you get nervous getting maintenance on your car, this is a good place to go : )

This place has turned into a dump. Twice now I’ve turned up to get my oil changed, last time they didn’t have a filter for a common Toyota truck. I’ve never seen a place like this, not want to work so badly. They’re all sitting around, acting like it was a drag for them when I pulled up. After a long drive, I asked to use the bathroom, the office and former waiting room was a pigsty. Clearly, after the pandemic, the whole stain in your car concept has allowed them to do less workfor the same amount of money. This place should go out of business. They didn’t even reset the maintenance gauge on my truck. As soon as I get home, I’m gonna check to make sure the levels are where they should be. Don’t waste your time.

A little pricey, but so worth it! I’ve been to every place in Bellingham and have never had a good experience. Finally my car feels happy!

I showed up a half hour before close and was greeted by Mike, who was extremely upset that I had come in for an oil change while he was scrolling on his phone. No other customers, I can see why. Took them 15 minutes, so I was out of there before they even closed. However, Mike was extremely rude and visibly upset that I was there. Didn't bother to show me the oil on the dipstick. Checked when I got home and needed to add a quart. Never coming back to this place again. Sorry, I made Mike do his job. He couldn't even do it correctly.
