Mike and the staff at Tri-County Diesel Marine are fantastic. Their knowledge and attention to detail is unsurpassed. They regularly travel to Alaska to keep their clients operational during fishing season. I have heard that they have even flown to Fiji at the request of a big time diesel manufacturer to keep clients running safely. You will be a regular customer once you try this family business. Plus their new drive-thru is very convenient for picking up the things you need for DIY projects. Good thinking.

Samantha got all the Yanmar marine parts I needed in 1 day and pulled up manuals on the spot to tell me how to do my own maintenance. All the parts except 1 were in stock here. I tried 4 other places in the Anacortes/ Mt Vernon area with no luck. This place rocks!

Sadly we had a miserable experience with Tri County Diesel in Oct 2018.We hauled out wanting both sail drives serviced and overhauled in order to do an extended off shore expedition . We ended up being charged more than the cost of one brand new sail drive and have had nothing but problems ever since . We gave strict instructions for both sail drives to be overhauled and rebuilt and were charged 17 hours of time sitting in the work shop . As soon as we were put back in the water one sail drive leaked oil immediately , Mike wanted to charge us again for work we had already paid for .. We refused to sign a contract absolving Tri County from any responsibility . Mike became very aggressive and threatened us . We have ongoing issues with both sail drives . The rest of the staff at Tri County attempted to help with our dilemma . We spent close to $6000 plus our time and haul out costs and have ongoing problems with both sail drives ! Sent from Martin

On the day of our planned departure, I found a water pump problem on my Northern Lights genset. The pump was about six months old. I removed the pump and took it to Tri County who cheerfully exchanged it for a new pump. It was a lot easier than I thought it would be and we were on our way the same day

If 6 stars were available, Tri County would get an easy 6 stars from me. We retained Tri County to get our newly purchased Jeanneau 469 ready for the season. Three weeks after the service, the service manager, Austin, met us at the boat to assist with some fine tuning and troubleshooting. We are customers for life!

Wife Carol and I heard noise in engine proceeding across Whidby Island in very high seas, of course a field of crab pots kept us on our toes. Suddenly no engine power the transmission stopped. A tow in to Bellingham and a search led to Tri County Diesel. The flex plates shattered and one of Tri County Diesels guys worked day and night and got us on our way. The fees could have been worse but they matched the job, got us off the pay dock and now we love these guys.
