I was referred to Seyfer Automotive after my beloved mechanic moved to Florida… My husband tried a different mechanic with his Subaru (before I heard of Seyfer) but after that person did a rushed job that caused more harm than good I felt hesitant to take my laundry list of maintenance needs to him. I didn’t want to take my Subaru to the dealership because they recently dropped the ball big time with our daily driver. Seyfer was great. They were able to get my car right in, fix my oil leak and do my 100k maintenance. Their communication was great. I had a bunch of questions (because I am not that car savvy) and Justin was happy to answer them all. They were able to get all the work done in a timely manner. In a weird twist of events that I will take ownership for, my transmission happened to act up when I drove my car home from the shop. I had to pull into a parking lot and call Seyfer. My husband, Justin and I couldn’t figure out for the life of us what had happened. It was right around closing time for the shop but they sent a tow truck ASAP. I didn't go with the tow truck to the shop so I was concerned that since it was after hours on a weekend, my car would be left in the parking lot and possibly unlocked so I drove the next day to lock my car and was super relieved when I saw her safely parked behind their locked gate. That means that someone was there after hours to make sure that my car was parked behind the gate - a small touch that I really appreciated. Justin got my car looked at first thing the next business day and called me to ask for permission to take my car on a long test run because if something was broken or about to break they wanted to find it. I appreciated this call vs just putting a higher number of miles on my car and not telling me. I also appreciated how thorough they were. Long story short, we think the clutch didn’t disengage all the way (again, not savvy but I am sure Justin or the crew will tell you exactly what they think happened in their reply to my review). I picked my car up and Justin asked me to test her out for a week to make sure all was good. I drove my car all week with ZERO issues. She’s purring like a kitten. I felt VERY taken care of by the team at Seyfer. I also know that I am not very car savvy so they were very patient in explaining everything to me. My husband looked over everything and he didn’t see any weird extra things added (like unfortunately can happen at some shops to make more money) so he was very happy with their honesty. As for price? I can’t really comment. We have purposely avoided the dealership with our WRXs and had been going exclusively to a Subaru specialist for years so I am not sure how pricing compares to other professionals in the area. However, their customer service, quality of work and timeliness was exceptional so I am going to say it was worth what we paid.

Seyfer Automotive Was not my first choice but should have been. After dealing with 4 other mechanics. And paying thousands of dollars. I still had to end up taking it to seyfer automotive to have all these repairs done correctly. Not only did Justin make me feel at ease but. When he realized my frustration. He went above and beyond to help. Even after repairing my car called me the next day to make sure I was safe and everything was running correctly. No one does that anymore. Seyfer Automotive is the mechanic shop I've been looking for for 22 years. This is the most Honest, Professional, Trustworthy automotive repair shop I have ever been to. I am forever grateful to the entire Seyfer Automotive team.

I had my car towed to Seyfer’s on Thanksgiving day 2024 with flat tires. I left one of my 2 key fobs in the drop box with my contact info. I ended up having my car towed to Discount Tire the following Monday. My car is AWD so all 4 had to be replaced. I forgot about my key fob at Seyfer’s. I received at minimum 3 calls from Seyfer’s over the course of the last 10 months reminding me it was there. I finally was on that side of town today and picked it up. They went through all of these lengths to make sure I got my fob back and I didn’t spend a dime there. This speaks volumes about the people there. Going forward I will drive to the other side of town-Seyfer’s, when I need my car serviced. Trustworthy, Good people and great ownership. Not easy to find these days. Full story of my experience.... I contracted Seyfer to replace my catalytic converter after it was stolen on my 1993 Toyota pickup. Justin N. worked with me and insurance to make the fix happen, which I greatly appreciated. Unfortunately, beyond that initial discussion...the work had extremely poor quality, and I experienced rudeness along the way I received the Toyota the first time without the replacement down pipe that was agreed to in the estimate. They stated that the one they needed was out of stock. Instead, they used one for a different engine, cut it apart, and welded it to the original down pipe. That weld had a major leak in it directly below the cab. I returned...they stated they would fix it, but I asked for the original replacement down pipe for a complete fix. That's when Justin became rude with me by responding with "what do we need to do to appease you?" I stated I only wanted what the original work order stated...nothing more. He eventually agreed. I heard him order the correct down pipe on the phone (which wasn't out of stock) while they re-welded the leak. It still leaked when I got home. I brought my truck back 1.5 weeks later to get the proper fix. I checked the work before walking into their door. They had to re-modify the pipe between the cat and muffler by adding an additional weld while also forgetting to re-weld to the exhaust hanger. The new weld also looked like it was done by someone who has never welded before. I can understand mistakes happen, maybe new employees that are learning, etc...but this shop never checked their work before passing it on as complete. At this point, I asked for a refund on only the labor (two hundred out of a sixteen hundred fix). After a few phone calls to reach Justin after my last visit to the shop, he provided a ~one hundred ten dollar credit for future work. No discount on the work already performed after telling me that it wasn't safety related error and about their low margins. I am still just surprised at the whole experience, and it's extremely unfortunate. In the end...they always gave it another go to fix the work, and didn't tell me to screw off. For that, I am marginally appreciative. It was a battle the entire way, and it now looks like my exhaust has been pieced together instead of being a complete and professional looking fix. Attached photos are of different phases of correction...not in any particular order.

SUV was towed to Seyfer by AAA after dying on the road. Towed to the center and left for repair. Arrived early Monday morning and spoke to Chad who was both understanding and supportive of getting the SUV looked at and repaired quickly. Had the vehicle completely repaired by 1pm to enable me to get back on the road. Seyfer is highly recommended and a clean, organized and capable company. Highly recommend this AAA certified service center if new in Denver.
