Purchased an interstate battery on 2/5/24. Now it won't hold a charge so went to get a replacement. This is when the ignorance begin. First he asked for a receipt. I didn't have it from 2 years ago. Who has? But I had a record of the purchase date which I kept. This I do for when I do something to all my cars and he could look it up. He told me if he has to look it up I'd have to pay him $140.00 just to look for the information which was rediculous. A simple transaction that could have went the other way but, what goes up comes down. Karma will be his judge. I left his place before I got real angry for his incompetence and bad business practice. Was gonna get 2 batteries for my other vehicles because I like interstate batteries but that's a done deal. And I'll use the power of social media to let ppl know he's a scrupulous business person.

I'm new to Knoxville so I was leery trying to find a local mechanic. I've taken my truck to Shea twice now and they have earned my business! No BS, no trying to add work that isn't needed, just good, trustworthy mechanics.

I was told after I had my car towed here that there is a two week wait for service. I then was subjected to a kind of rude behavior I have never before experienced. I'm blown away to have this experience here, where I have previously gotten great work and service. How the mighty have fallen.

I had to have my daughters car towed there since she was attending college in Knoxville. They repaired ball joints and wheel assembly very quickly. They called me for authorization because the wheel assembly was going to be so expensive and I appreciated the heads up, but they went out of their way to go to a secondary supplier and found the part for a cheaper price. First time I have seen someone at a repair place try and save someone money!!! I HIGHLY RECOMEND these guys.

Had my first experience here and I have to say this place is great! This is the only place I will take any of my vehicles from now on. They kept me informed and let me know what the cost would be beforehand. Mike the owner was very easy to work with and was very knowledgeable about my truck and what needed to be done. My only regrets is that I haven't found this place sooner!

while it is totally understandable that businesses may have wait times they cannot control, it is up to the proprietor of said business to communicate this with potential clients. It is not only dishonest to wait to reveal your wait is 2 weeks minimum until after someone has already agreed to use your service & spent their money to have their immobilized vehicle towed to you, but to then insult the customer by saying it "is common knowledge in the auto industry" in response to the shock of the wait is not only unprofessional and unkind, but is merely untrue. this is such a shame after what great service this place has provided in the past.

Don't bother bring classics to them. They only work on cars with computers that tell them what's wrong with it.
