I go to shell all the time and today just happened to be the day I don't ever want to go again. Employee J Liam is very disrespectfull and no kind of customer service I will be returning to file a complaint because at the end of our conversation I was told that I need to go to another gas station. I don't mind going to another gas station but the disrespect behind it is pointless!

It was 3:00 am and completely lost, no phone, no sense of direction to where I was. The gentleman behind the counter saved my life. He went above and beyond to help me get back home by navigating me in the right direction. I'm sorry I didn't get his name I was in such a panic I forgot to ask, but he had long dark hair and worked the late night shift on 4/21/22. Thank you once again!

Extremely poor customer service and racist comment by the cashier employee… and older white men with white mustache was the cashier very rude and racist … I always spend like $100 dollars there putting gas and buying things from the store , but I’m not going back there … with horrible customer service and rudeness to his customer …No .. He doesn’t realize that his paycheck comes from the customers . If he is hating his job he should change jobs …. Wow. When I was there, SEVERAL people had problems with the car wash. And reading the reviews, MORE people having problems with the car wash. What made me so upset was that, I watched the cashier give refunds to all the other people having problems. But she refused to give to me. Instead, she gave me a new receipt with a new code. Apparently, she accused me of being the one to break it but it wasn't me. I went back to try the wash again anyways but another 3 people were already in line again. This after waiting for 4 people before it broke on the guy in front of me the first time. I'm traveling from out of town and had already been hiking all day so I was tired plus I had I long way to go back home. I go hiking at the Chantry flats but I will never stop here again for anything. This was criminal. I calmly went in to ask for a refund again. But the manager kept running away. She would tell me she was going to give a refund and then disappear. After asking 3 more times, I started to feel like she was giving me the run around. So. At that time, I started demanding for a refund. Something was very odd and it almost seemed personal. She had a mask on so I couldn't really say but she was literally giving refunds to people right in front of me and then running away while saying she would give me mine...it was very odd. I asked both of the girls if I needed to call the police. The Latina cashier, who was actually giving me a bad attitude from the start, threatened she was going to call the police and picked up the phone. I responded by daring her to. I mean, this is over 7 bucks for the wash. The manager claimed that I got a discount on gas but it was like 1 dollar for adding the car wash. Wow. Like I planned on the car wash breaking. I don't read reviews ahead of time on gas stations but I guess after seeing how so many others also had a bad experience, maybe I should start. So, these 2 wackos are threatening to call the police over 7 bucks. That THEY wouldn't refund??? What is going on. But then the Filipina manager told her not to call the police with a tight lipped, trying to hide shaking her head, eyes rolling towards me...like I couldn't see her. I have eyes in the back of my head, little lady. I'm not born yesterday. So, what do I do? I call the police. If you are going to threaten to call the police and then get scared about it...Something very strange about this. The police arrived very quickly (good job officer). Suddenly, this old man shows up while the officer was there. Apparently, he was yet another customer that wanted a refund. He had to call his wife because they told him his card was declined so it never got charged in the first place. And he didn't even have a receipt. I don't know why I get the feeling that he was the owner pretending he was a customer so he could be there while the police was there or something very fishy about him. But, if I'm right, I have a strange feeling this owner is scamming people out of car washes. Seeing how so many people have the same problem and how the manager and the cashier were very experienced with this problem, I feel like he is purposely allowing the wash to break, hoping that customers will just let it go. 7 to 15 bucks a pop will add up if it happens enough times. I really think corporate or a government agency needs to look into this place. Something is VERY strange here. DON'T SAY I DIDN'T WARN YOU.

DO NOT USE THE CAR WASH. Great location. Gas is expensive, always. If you value your time and there are a couple of people waiting for the car wash, leave. You can drive to the nice one in Duarte and come back by the time one car is washed; this is the slowest car wash machine I've ever seen. You've been warned.

Car wash damaged my rear wiper arm, completely tore it off. I have run my cars thru here for 30+ years and have been their customer for over 40. Manager Linda told me the sign says not responsible for damage. I asked her if there was anything else she could do for me. Nope. She couldn't care less. DO NOT USE THIS CAR WASH!

Carwash is so-so. Only one pass with rinse water leaves car with soap still on it. Don't go thru in an older convertible. Spray jet as at the bottom and sprays up. Hits the convertible top and side window perfectly, allowing water to be clean the occupants inside the vehicle.

Heads-up: I went to this gas station to put gas and also wanted to cash out a $10 lottery scratch off and I was told they wouldn't cash it because they didn't have enough money. They shouldn't be a representative of the lottery or selling tickets if they aren't going to honor the pay out which I believe was reasonable in this case. I will be contacting the Lottery company and the Shell Corporation regarding the practice of selling tickets that aren't claimable at the 705 Huntington Dr., Monrovia location.

$6 for a half gallon of milk and no pricing listed on most beverages and food on shelves. Price gouging on nearly every item. Half gallon milk is $1.99 down the street. They slap $10 ‘more on a nicotine vape that is cheaper at nearly every other gas station nearby. It’s deceptive to overcharge an essential likw milk then get stuck at the counter forced to pay too much. When I ask to verify the price first the person at register seems annoyed or mad. Very disappointing store, customer service lacking also and gas prices much more than most in area.

This gas station was clean and seemed to have all pumps working. They have diesel fuel which is a plus. They also have a convenience store and a car wash. I’m only reviewing my experience with the gas station. No complains just in and out fast.

Don not go to either shell gas station in Monrovia. They have card skimmers. I got 54$ stolen from me two days ago. And yesterday they charged me 25$ and an extra .32 cents lol. The cashiers do not care. I whole heartedly believed they are in on the scheme. They had a smug almost happy look on their face that my money was stolen. Do not go to either shell gas station in Monrovia. They are straight thieves. Further more I will never go to a shell Gas station ever again. People are straight horrible.
