Been bringing my cars for service and repairs here for a while now. They get the job done within 48 hours (that’s the longest I’ve had to wait); with no pitches or antics. It’s easy to schedule an appointment too. They’ve worked on my Ford and my Hyundai. Every issue I’ve had has been resolved so far.

I know as conscious consumers, the first thing we as gravitate too for services are the big name businesses. but never underestimate your local business, they tend to go above and beyond to garner your business and Courthouse Shell are the best at doing that by providing you top notch service. I took my truck in for service because of a rear brake issue/noise and was expecting to pay at least $400-600 before it would pass inspection. Take a guess what it cost????? A whopping $39.00 for an unexpected state inspection and one wiper blade replacement. They inspected my vehicle brakes and found no issues. They choose honesty and integrity over profit. Additionally on the same they were able to get my second vehicle in for a state inspection, which needed wipers also. Thanks to Courthouse shell my expected $700 expense ended up costing less than $100.00. So please support them.

Courthouse Shell has been the backbone of our company’s fleet! Whenever we have an issue we bring our vehicles to Shell and they’re ALWAYS honest, and an honest mechanic is hard to come by. You must take your vehicles to sell if you need any type of maintenance repairs or state inspections. Just got a new transmission replaced in the Ford transit, The van works like new! These guys are organized and they have taken great care of us for all of our work vehicles and personal vehicle.

Still testing courthouse shell, my 2 sons and I have taken 3 cars for inspection last couple months: 2 passed, 1 failed for license plate bulb. No inspection games- kudos and 5 stars. Changing from courthouse auto (100 yds around corner), they started to play inspection games. Car failed for a damaged/cuts to flex brake tube. Took car home, replaced a perfectly good flex brake tube. Took hose to courthouse auto, 2 guys at front desk couldn't find any damage, cuts but sided with mechanic. No apology, no nothing so rated them with my pocketbook and moved to courthouse shell. Last year or so, games have ensued- both of my sons own a couple cars, had a couple inspection gaming issues too. Flex tube was last straw. Still venting, just hate stupid games- few have skills to do basic mechanical stuff so, to me, flex tube cut is an easy money grab, ridiculous!

I got my State inspection there. I called and asked what day was good to drop off my car. Dropped it off at 6am to a person not a drop box. They called a few hours later truck was inspected. I love Courthouse Shell. A great small business in my section of southeast Virginia Beach, I’ve been getting gas and having car repairs and maintenance done there for over 20 years, in fact as far back as when it was still a Texaco. Steve, the owner is a great guy who takes care of his customers in every respect, and is both fair and reasonable in the fees he charges for work. His staff is top notch. Give them a try, you won’t be sorry.
