Wonderful people. (Jim and Mark) Took my 2004 Trailblazer over to have the transmission rebuilt. Took less than a week. The only issue I had was that my air compressor wouldn't kick in. Took it back and they tested it top to bottom and found out that the negative battery cable wasn't seated well. As soon as Mark tightened it up everything worked like a charm. Thank you to Shorty's for making my experience so pleasurable. =)

This is a nice small family business. My check engine light was on and I was told by my regular mechanic that it was a transmission-related code. I was helped as soon as I got there, even though the guy was in the middle of working on another car. He noticed my battery was corroded and pooched out on the sides and suggested I replace it, even though I might still have transmission problems that would need to be looked at later. He installed a new battery and the check engine light went off and hasn't come back on. I'm happy because it was way cheaper than what I was worried I would have to pay for the repair. $160 for the battery and labor. Both guys were nice and helpful and everything was explained well. I will definitely go back if I have transmission problems in the future.

I had my vehicle towed here recently and purchased a separate, used transmission. I paid this shop to put it in, which they did and had me back on the road pretty quick. Problem was less than two months later I’m leaking transmission fluid badly. When I called to see if I could bring it back to make sure nothing went wrong, the guy tells me he’s too full to get me in and to call back Friday. Called back, same answer, call tomorrow. Called Saturday and was sent straight to voicemail. Called again and reviewed a text saying he was busy but asked me what i needed. When I told him I was trying to get my car in, I supposed he realized who it was and never replied back. The sad part is I would have paid for repairs of course if they were needed in addition to what I have already paid. I guess since he got his money customer service no longer matters. I am forced to find another vehicle in the meantime while I look for a mechanic who will simply fix my car. Business owners show their true colors AFTER they get paid!! Took my dodge ram 2500 in to rebuild the transmission third gear started starting slipping 2 weeks later and they wouldn’t fix it Terrible business never have anything worked on there
