It is not common you find an auto mechanic like Moorpark Auto Care. After dealership quoted over $50 to replace my air filter, owner Andres Alhadeff helped me install one I purchased from a local Auto Zone free of charge teaching me how to do it on my own in the future. Took my car here because I had a loose battery terminal which would come undone sometimes making my car not start. Andres the owner, had me pull my car up and took a look at it. He said for me to give him 2 minutes. 2 minutes later the problem was fixed and he even did it free of charge! I definitely will be coming back and recommend this place to anyone in the area.

Andy is among the most capable, reasonable and personable mechanics I’ve ever had the pleasure of working with. Over the years I’ve found that those qualities in a seasoned professional can hardly be considered mutually inclusive within the industry, no matter how much you might expect them to be. In any case, you can certainly find the embodiment of these principles at Simi Valley Auto Care for as long as he is there. Andy even did some extra work for free to correct a malfunctioning brake lamp circuit on my 30 year old Acura. Work with him and he’ll keep your vehicle in the best practical running condition. Word of advice to enthusiasts: treat your performance cars to his gold-standard service and try to learn as much from him as you possibly can.

Was visiting town borrowing a friend's car when the starter failed from this crazy Simi heat. Not knowing any mechanics, I towed it here in the late evening on a gamble and took a chance with Andy. Needless to say, I called the next morning and Andy was immediately on top of it. I authorized his diagnostic and he concurred that the suspected failing starter was the culprit. He had it replaced and ready to go late that day. Really great service, great fair price, and definitely will recommend.

(Professional, Knowledgeable & Trustworthy) Over 18 years ago I moved to Moorpark and needed to find a good mechanic that I could trust. The dealership I was using was way overpriced and untrustworthy. My neighbor highly recommended Andres (Andy) Ahadeff and said that he has been his and his, wife’s mechanic for many years and now services both his sons cars too. He also said Andy is very knowledgeable, efficient, reliable & trustworthy. He was right! And I’m so greatful for his referral that day! As the years have passed by my families cars have gotten older and needed more attention. It has always been such a relief that I don’t have to concern myself wondering if I’m being taken advantage of with extremely high quotes for parts & labor.
