Called for an appointment and scheduling was easy, but had to follow up with a second call to get an cost estimate for a transmission service. I'm glad I did because the estimate was $2400! Did some more research, got several other quotes, and it twice others (including dealer) with some weird things thrown in including $43 [not $160 as I first reported] on pan bolts and fluid prices also twice market cost. Called to cancel service noting prices seemed exorbitant and SA seemed unphased and quickly cancelled. [I'd initially gave two stars to give credit for the communications portion, but now they seem to want to bully me in trying to wholesale remove my review versus correcting it. Very suss and now a one star.] Maybe this is a one-off with the otherwise excellent reviews. Just make sure you get an estimate, get another quote, and under the details before you commit to a service. Update Note 8/22 12:26: I edited the bolt prices and my star rating after the response below from the business. It appears I had misremembered bolt prices (I apologize for that detail) and would like to have included exact prices in this review, but ALSO disappointed that once I declined the service...the quote details entirely evaporated so I couldn't see them anymore. (see only screen I can see now below) In fact, there were other sketchy things in the quote too. I recall vague shop fees, Hazmat charges, and then even a can of Brakleen at what I remember as inflated price,.....but going off memory and can't detail them as the notes are gone. I also note there was a new customer discount of what I recall as $150, but frankly that came across to me as decoy effect after trying to high-anchor me. This is a common tactic in the automotive industry. Regardless, I'd be glad to go back and do a more thorough review if Simmonson wants to restore my view of the quote they removed to ensure I was entirely accurate, as well as provided sourcable documentation exactly what Mercedes recommends. Otherwise, the small edits to my review and additional information stands. Have a great day.

We previously had our jeep serviced at the Kennewick Jeep dealer for what we thought would be the best place to repair an oil and coolant leak. Needless to say they did a very poor job and we had to return our jeep several times for the same issues. we later discovered their tech used lots of silicone to plug the leaks (which probably happened on our last visit) which made things much worse. We decided to take our jeep to Simmonson and their service advisor Josh was great. He listened to our concerns and provided updates when they resolved each leak and made sure they fixed it right the first time. It’s employees like Josh and the well trained mechanics that makes a huge difference and we are very appreciative of their work and professionalism.
