I've had work done on multiple vehicles here and this is probably the most honest mechanic shop around. Ben tells you what you need and doesn't go looking for problems with your car unless you ask him to. Quick and easy and i recommend this shop to anyone.

He has had my granddaughter car since August of 2021. Told her 4 time's it was next to be put in bay and would be ready in 4-5 days. Still there. She is a single mom and has had to beg for ride's to work and daycare. What's the problem. I feel he's taking advantage of her because she is young. The bill is paid in full and he still has not put her car in a bay to even begin working on it. She needs transportation desperately. All reviews I've seen are good. So I ask Again, what is the problem and why don't you get her car fixed like you have been paid to do. January 28th 2022

Best auto repair shop in Gulfport Mississippi by far. Very dependent and affordable. Job was done on time and mechanics were informative and very friendly. I was showed my old parts that were replaced when job was done. I recommend to go to Snyder’s above any other auto shop in Gulfport. They are by far the most reasonable and affordable price available. 10 stars ⭐️ all the way!!!

I had a broken radiator and broken radiator fans for my 2014 Sahara jeep and was quoted 1,800$ to get it replaced. Snyder's mechanic shop had gotten it all fixed for 500$ ! Amazing mechanic and super easy to work with!

I’ve been waiting on my car for 2 months now and no car. The repair time that was negotiated was 2 weeks! When I got my car towed to this shop he diagnosed a week later and said it was the head gasket! We gave him half the money upfront for the head gasket and also gave him money for the bumper! After a month we contacted him trying to find out how much longer it would take to get the car and he kept saying next week next week until a month had passed! I’ve lost my job because of it and I’m currently 7 months pregnant ! I’ve missed several appointments because I have no means of transportation.i would not recommend this shop if you don’t have a ride to get around for at least 3 months ! Sorry I even wasted my time.

This man is a true hero! Thank you Mr Snyder for saving my family, our vacation, and getting us back on the road and able to get home over 300 miles away! We broke down with 2 kids and a German shepherd while visiting long beach mississippi and only 2 days till we had to check out of out rvbo rental on sunday morning. We knew it was a Friday and we were in real trouble with no mechanic to fix our car on the weekend. We were carless and about to be homeless with all our stuff and family with 108 degree heat index. We were scared and praying for a miracle. I called him and told him we needed an alternator and he said to get the car to him. He fixed it on the spot while we waited and the kids inside the office in the air conditioning! It was hot and the engine was too hot to work on even with gloves! Then he gave us an amazing deal and we left feeling so grateful. Thank you Ben we will forever be grateful for you!

He has had my wife car for 8 months now and every time I call he says he will have it in 2 weeks. He say he is short handed and don’t have workers now we go to his shop and it appears he in the process of moving nor will he answer any phone calls or texts. If anyone can tell me where he is located cause he still have my wife vehicle somewhere I will greatly appreciate it

This is the only place I would take my car. The owner cares about his customers and I couldn't believe the money that I saved. I recommend all my friends and everyone I have met that needed something fixed. Great work! Friendly customer service. They can fix everything. They will take care of you there. This is the only place I trust and know that I am an important person. I have been ripped off so many times from other places. You can rent Uhaul trucks there too. And everything you need to move. I saved so much time and money there. They handled everything for me. I just had to drive the truck! Excellent Service! Thank you so much!

When I took my truck to Snyders I had already been to three different mechanics who had jacked me around, took me for ALOT of money and still left me with a truck I couldn't drive. Ben gave me a fair price to diagnose and replace the fuel filter..after looking at it he told what all was wrong with it and how much it would cost to fix so reluctantly I gave him the go ahead to fix it. He had it it ready in less than two days, I test drove her and I don't think she has ever ran as good as she does now! He was upfront, honest, and fairly priced. Did what he said he was gonna do. Definitely has restored my faith in a mechanic shop. Guaranteed his work in writing...i wont be going anywhere else for auto repairs. If you need your vehicle worked on he's your guy!!!

I would give this no stars because that is what this CROOK deserves! I had a few mechanics look at my vehicle previous to Snyder. One removed the tracking device LEGALLY with permission from my finance company, because that was what was shorting my truck out. When the truck still didn’t run, my husband got it towed to Snyders. It took him over a week to tell me that a simple scan said the computer was gone out. I paid him over half of the repair to get fixed, it took him almost two weeks to get in the part. Having to blow his phone up for updates all he would say is he was waiting on the part. After getting the part it still took him almost a week of me calling several times a day before he would answer saying they were working on it. Finally I call one day wanting to know what was taking so long and he told me my car dealership came and repossessed my vehicle for non payment. That my finance company told him I owed 10,000 on it. Went on to say someone tampered with the tracking device. I explained to him I have a great relationship with the dealer. They approved and I had documentation saying it could be removed. After talking to the dealership Snyder called them to come pick my vehicle up telling them he couldn’t get in contact with me. The man thought I had removed the device illegally and instead of asking me or the company for clarification, he lied and took my money. I will be filing a civil suit on him for my money, and lost wages. This was the worst business I have ever seen a business do. Do yourself a favor and not bring your vehicle to this man!

Ben Snyder is a con man. I paid him for replacing my transmission in my truck. Picked it up and drove it less than 2 miles and parked. When I came out of the store it wouldn’t go into any gear. He has now had my truck for 12 months. Won’t respond to messages, and doesn’t show up to open the business. I’ve found, run into 3 other people with same stories.

I can't express my gratitude in enough words towards Mr. Snyder and his shop for getting me in/out the SAME DAY! They were honest with me and the price for everything was affordable considering everything I had done. We have a dedicated truck that we use constantly for work and depend on it. I was able to get it in this morning and back before 3pm!!!! I can't thank them enough for getting me and my partner "back" on the road! Thank you Snyder's Mechanic Shop and his employees for everything. If anything else happens, I know where to take my vehicles at from now on!

Mr. Ben is an honest and trustworthy mechanic. I have brought multiple vehicles in for service. His prices are excellent, repairs are done correctly, and he cares about his customers. We have had minor repairs such as brakes changed all the way to our transmission being rebuilt. He does not complete any work without prior approval. He communicates well and works quickly. If you need a quick honest mechanic… he is your guy! He has even stayed late waiting on a tow truck to drop my vehicle so he could secure it before leaving for the night. You don’t find many shops like his anymore.

Mr. Snyder is such a nice man! We brought our Nissan Sentra to him and not only did he diagnose the issue quickly but he had it fixed quickly and understood how much this car means to us as my mom gave it to us before she passed away. His prices are more than reasonable and I have already bragged about him to so many friends and family members! He did a phenomenal job and our car is running like new! Thank you Mr. Snyder! Brought our car to this shop a year ago. We thought the issue was fixed and seemed happy with his service. Skip forward to this week..the car starts running rough again so we bring it to another shop and we were advised the ignition coils are bad. We paid this shop to replace all of them and spent over $500. Starting to believe he either never replaced them or only replaced one. Would not do business with him again.

Warning!! Warning!! Warning!! Don't do it unless you want to hear i will have it ready next week for a year!! I finally had enough of it and went and got my truck!! I paid him $1100 down to fix my truck and A year later nothing!! He's a scammer and says whatever he has to to put you off for a week.. I'm out of my money and had to have it towed to another mechanic!!
