★☆☆☆☆ So back in November I ordered a d1x procharger kit from SOB for my 2016 z51 vette. It took a couple of weeks to get it becuase procharger puts the kits together then send them to the tuner. After recieving the kit and starting the install we realized that Zach ordered the wrong kit with the parts for a wet sump system. We contacted him but he was traveling to Atlanta and couldn't resolve the issue while traveling. We then called pro charger and they confirmed what we discovered they pulley, damper, and Pcv system was all wrong. They then told me to have the tuner contact them. Well I did that and here is where the fun begins. Zach text me and said he'd be on it and get my parts ordered. Weeks went by. So i followed up with ATI the manufacturer and searched the web to find the parts locally, they were at summit racing right up the road. I screenshot zach this info. then he told me to return the wrong components so he could get a return authorization? Why would you need a return authorization if you all ready ordered my parts? Becuase you didn't order them the first time! Another week goes by and while I was out of town I sent my uncle, my competent installer and master mechanic to SOB with the pulley, damper, and dry sump pcv kit. Two weeks go by and check with zach for my parts and of course he says they are on the way. Fed up with lies, no parts, and my vette being in pieces for over a month I initiated a merchant dispute with amex. Within two days I get my parts! Go figure! Zach texts me and says what's with the charge back, I explain my frustration and inform him that I'll cancel it. This morning I get a call from the Houston county sheriff's department about theft? Really? You sat on over $6,000 for a month! My car was inoperable for a month! And you cant wait a few days until amex refunds you your money? A process which I have no control over?!! Wait...hold the phone...he just sent me a nasty gram text message saying I stole money from his business and never to return!!! You dont have to worry about that, you picked the right name for your business!

★★★★★ I really don't know where to start. Zach Martin and his team at S.O.B. Built Motorsports has been awesome to say the least. It's hard to find performance shops in this area that can do a wide range of things including fabrication and design and actually be good at it. My first vehicle I brought to them was a 2016 (Brand new at the time) Duramax Diesel. I was referred from one of my other friends who he also did a lift kit for. Zach spec'd out a full coil-over conversion kit from BDS Suspension and custom wheels from Specialty Forged. The truck was then later outfitted with a Compound Turbo Kit from Wehrli Fab and a fuel system. Everything was installed perfectly and Zach even offered to re-torque and check the entire truck over after 500 miles free of charge. Later down the road and more recently a 2018 Mustang was brought to him. This car really put me through a lot as far as unexpected problems. The car now has a built motor running a max effort Whipple setup. Full suspension setup from BMR, Viking and Steeda, a built 10R80 that is on the way from the transmission shop along with a converter that should put the car in the 8's with ease. Zach and his crew had their hands on this car more than I expected but they did not skip a beat and they were there anytime I needed them. Zach has offered to lend a hand and put business matters aside to help me get this car where it needed to be. This are your people for anything performance, custom fabrication and general maintenance in the Middle Georgia area and will stand behind anything and everything they do.
