Outstanding work! Chris Fee was great to work with-excellent communication through the entire process, advocated for certified components and made dealing with insurance a breeze. Vehicle repair was efficient and lead time on parts was quick. Ray, the body tech, did some top-tier work. The vehicle turned out the same caliber as off the factory floor. Being able to return the rental at the body shop was a nice feature as well. Highly recommend utilizing Specialty for any body work needs.

The work was decent, but for a small dent in the trunk it took more than a week, they left my car with garbage at the door and under the passenger seat, the knob to adjust the air is loose perhaps is broken, and all of that with a charge that is more than excessive, I will never return to that place.

When my daughter called shortly after being involved in a minor fender bender in Athens, my heart sunk to my stomach, and I was thankful that everyone involved was ok. Unfortunately, I couldn’t drive over because we’re over 1800 miles away in Arizona. My next concern was finding a reputable repair shop that would be fair and treat my daughter well. After an exhaustive Google, we chose Specialty Paint and Body on Jefferson Road. This was the best decision we could have made. From the initial appointment, they were nothing short of amazing. They treated my daughter very well and were very transparent about the process, the limitations of our insurance, and potential ancillary charges. Their communication and thoughtfulness put me at ease and helped validate our choice. Unfortunately, our insurance company ended up totaling the car, and we didn’t get it repaired; nevertheless, their exemplary customer service let me know that they would have worked tirelessly to ensure the car was returned to our satisfaction. Thank you to Janice and the team for helping this worried father feel at ease at your shop. It was greatly appreciated and shouldn’t go unnoticed. TLDR: If you need an auto body repair shop you can trust, whether you’re located in the Athens, GA, area or 1800+ miles away, Specialty Paint and Body is the best choice.

I have alot of choices in Winder where I live, but chose these guys after previous experience with surrounding body shops in Barrow/Jefferson county.
