My infinity broke down in Webster. I called Starr Automotive in Texas City! The secretary was so kind she sent a wrecker to pick up my car, they fixed my starter for a very reasonable price. I couldn't be happier! I was back on the road in no time. Very nice people and easy to work with. I don't trust just anyone with my car. Starr Diesel and Auto Repair.. has Great Fast and Friendly Service. My 2008 Ford Escape would hesitate as I drove it (jerking) especially driving 40-50ml an hr. Plus felt like the whole underneath of my Escape was loose, I called it my Paddy Wagon, was afraid to hit a bump. Now Drives like a Brand new old car.. ha ha. Thank you Richard!!!

They fixed my breaks because I thought that's what needed to be done and the let me leave, come to find out my rotors were bad and they didn't tell me before they put the breaks on...I had to turn around and go back so they could fix the rotors, I feel like they should have came and told me before they even started on the breaks. I won't be going back there ever again.

Since meeting Mr Richards The owner of Star diesel auto repair, it's coming up on roughly 18 months. He has done three jobs on my 2012 Ford 250, his crew know exactly how to diagnostic and repair the problem right the first time. I must say there are no pressure tactics used in providing his service to the public. If you are a patient customer, allowing his staff to diagnose and fix your problem of your vehicle. Well that's a place you need to take it in Texas City. Okay bye y'all. This is Charles, recently I can have my car service check at Star automotive repair, it was showing up a warning signal. Unable to determine the problem, because that car is a bag of vehicle only and often drove once a month. So I took it to start automotive repair they determine it was just a battery warning light come on, so replacing the battery the car runs lovely. You really need to determine where you take your vehicles at for quality service. So you have less headaches down the road, because all mechanics do not work as mechanics, not just to get you in and out I'll make a fast dollar. So if you have a good mechanic you need to stick with one, All gilstar automotive repair, service diesel gasoline and cars . Oh also did I mention this is the first mechanic that give senior citizen discount rates.

Highly recommend them being a female and constantly being taken advantage of at shops that tell you they done work and then you end up at another shop and realised no they didn’t. I don’t have to question it here great people. The only thing I could honestly say that can make it easier on your customers as some hours. Don’t coincide obviously with Shop hours that within reason you have a number to where you can reach out to a real person when needed and not just leave a message. Other than that, my truck has a new Mechanic

They’ve done a great job in fixing my F-250 when the whole wheel hub fell apart and helped argue and prove to the insurance that the previous work done by a dealership was done incorrectly and that they lied and was overlooked. That the dealership lied about certain parts being replaced new even tho it was bought from a junk yard and over looked important components. This is a very trustworthy and great quality shop👍👍
