Scheduled my alignment on the 31st because I was having work done at another auto shop but had to reschedule for a couple days later because I didn’t have my vehicle back. Went in on 08/02 and State Road told me I had to reschedule because there was a vehicle torn apart on the alignment rack, which they should have known this on the 31st. Went in again on 08/04 and finally got the alignment done, but it took a couple hours. I used to work at a dealership and it never took two hours. Also, State Road Advisor stated that all FOUR of my ball joints had play in them, but recommended to have the alignment done anyways. 1.) I don’t know any auto repair facility who is able to check ball joints on a drive up rack, 2.) Any auto repair shop who would still recommend having an alignment done even though there’s play in the ball joints. They gave me a quote for $1200 out the door with having them completed. What they didn’t know is that I just had a lot of work done at Frontline Auto right down the street. I went back to the owner and told him about what State Road said. He advised my ball joints are fine and there’s no play. It’s hard going to a place for the first time, feeling like they’re just trying to get more money out of me. I won’t be issuing State Road again. Only good thing is the alignment was done and drives smoother now.

After a Friday night deer collision, we drove our car directly to State Road for repairs since it was leaking fluid...they had good reviews and it was close to our house. We have a mechanic that we usually go to but they were on vacay so we thought we'd give these guys a try. First thing Saturday morning they told us they'd look at the car that day. I never heard anything so I called before they closed and they told me they didn't have time and I would have to wait till Monday. Fine. We stopped by that day to pick up something else from the car that we had forgotten, and our car was sitting in the lot unlocked. Then I get a phone call Monday morning that they lost my keys. When I got upset about that, the person who called me got snarky and sarcastic. I decided to pay for a tow to bring my car to our other mechanic and wait several days for it to be repaired with someone I could trust. I wouldn't have my oil changed at this place.

Had the drivers window regulator brake on our 23 Ford Lighting and the dealer said they could not get to it for over a week, and did not offer to put the window up so it was not all the way down in the winter time till they had a chance to fix it. Called State Road and they had me drop it off. They put it inside overnight and closed the window for us the next morning until the dealer could get to it. Shame on Ford and Great Thank You to the staff at State Road.

One of the best experiences I've had with a shop. After searching for so long for the right shop to do my full exhaust on my truck they nailed exactly what I wanted. The first day I came in they crawled under the truck with me just to see the vision I had and what I exactly wanted and they did a spectacular job. 10/10 would highly recommend this place. They can also do fully custom exhaust work and their welding is top notch! Dominic and his team are the best around. Don't waste your time at any other shops.

I would write a six-plus star review if I could. These guys have been fantastic. Firstly, they had the opportunity to get right around two grand out of me with the service I wanted to do on the car based on what another shop had recommended I do for a car that I had just purchased. In hindsight, that shop, I think, was pretty money hungry with the previous owner of my car and was suggesting that he do things that he did not need to do. So, State Road Auto Repair was kind enough and honest enough to tell me that and save me at least $1,200 and still get my issues taken care of. The car is driving great and, yeah, all-around super pleasant experience. I feel like it's hard to find an honest repair shop. So, yeah, these guys are my go-to.
