I was greeted with a hello and a smile from Drue Winn. He along with Brian Palmer and Neal Christian assisted me throughout my visit. I purchased 4 new Kelly tires with the warranty and alignment and they answered all of my questions. I was most pleased with the way they treated all the customers that day with kindness and respect. At one point, I believe it was Neil, he ran and held the door for a man with crutches. And they treated each other with the same respect. Their voices remained calm and soft spoken. The waiting area was clean, quiet and pleasant. I enjoyed a warm cup of coffee while watching tv. Moving forward I will return to this location in Braintree for all my oil changes and any other engine needs. Oh I love my new tires, my car rides beautifully. Thank you! PS when I was a young child I remember my dad driving me in his 65 Ford to Rockland to see Mr Sullivan. He said "it's a bit of a ride but it was the best place to buy tires!" And it still is!

I've been here a handful of times and I think it's a good place. They're a large-ish company so go in expecting the typical up-sale options of insurance, etc. They do a fine job with the tires though, and they have a large stock of them at their warehouse, generally available within 24hrs. They make appointments and keep to reasonable time lines. If you want new tires or other regular services, it's hard to go wrong. Reasonable prices on brand name tires and installations as well.

I had an appointment to replace a flat tire here and it was probably the worst service I've ever gotten. I pulled in to the store and saw two people standing in from of the tire bay so I stopped outside the bay, got out and told them I had appointment. The worker says "you didn't feel like parking?" So I said "sorry. Do you want me to pull into a spot until it's my turn?" He just replied "it's up to you." And then walked inside without saying anything else. I went in and told him a got a few tides through Sullivan a couple months ago and I was hoping the one that went flat was one of them so that I could have it replaced. He went outside, looked at it and came back in. He said it wasn't one of the tires and then told me it was from 2020 and it was a different brand so I would have to buy at least 2 new tires so they would match. I told him I'd just get it done near my house instead and left. I checked my flat and it was the same tire as all the other ones. It was also purchased in 2023. He was just trying to convince me to buy 2 new ones that I don't need. Honestly, if he was nicer I might have just done it, but he was super rude.

Had a previous issue with someone over a tire sensor and Brian was more than helpful to help out and fix it. Got a call the next day to assist and brought my car in, service was done in under an hour. Stress has been eliminated and I'm forever grateful for the continued service Sullivan.

Sullivan Tire on Common St is the best. They politely tell it like it is, and don't push services on you. I'm so grateful to them for showing me the horrifyingly dangerous structural rust on my car along with the other terminal "illnesses" it has, and being honest about my car's prognosis. Much appreciated and I'll be back with a new rusty junkbucket soon! Edited 9/10/23: Sullivan did a VERY thorough inspection on the used car I ended up buying. I am so grateful to have this service available from honest people. Thanks again, I'll be back! Edited 12/11/24: Fantastic job with my new tires and TPMS sensors, there was a glitch and they worked extremely hard to figure it out. So far so good.

I dropped a vehicle off this morning at 10am for 2 new tires and an alignment. Received a phone call at 12pm saying the tires I have on are oversized and I’ll have to buy 4 new ones. Ok fine, then I receive a call at 12:55. Saying they can not do an alignment because of a bad ball joint and wheel hub/bearing. Total cost $1800. Ok that’s fine I’ll fix it and bring it back. But then I receive another call at 2:20pm saying they can’t put new tires on because the vehicle has wheel spacers. At this point forget it I’ll bring my service elsewhere. Could just take the wheel spacers off. You’ve had my car for 4.5 hours only to tell me you don’t want to do anything. Long time customer with Sullivan but I’ll never go to the Braintree location again.

While driving out of the shop after replacing the tires in 5 mins. the TPMS sensor lights are up. Came back couple days later (assuming the sensors will be working fine after driving a bit and because of having new tires) to check and they said 3 out of 4 sensor die (so coincidence).:they said 3 die because I replaced 1 sensor years ago at their place. Cost to replace 3 sensor is ~$520. So disappointed.

Came in for service and to get a car check out for some noise. Had to get engine mounts for a 2020 car. Brian and Michael were very helpful. Informative and professional staff. Highly recommend, would definitely return.

Needed new bolts replaced , they had not removed other tire yet . Would be 150.00 each wheel if needed on both . I said ok . I am a 67 year old man . Who put the wheel nuts on with a tire iron . When I did brakes . I know they stole $ 300.00 !! Beware of these thieves !!

Went to Sullivan’s to change out my 7 year old tires. I booked the appointment online (they had a buy 3 get 1 free on just the tires I had been recommended from my Auto shop. Add to that going on tax free weekend and it was a big help on cost). Unfortunatly I could only book an appointment at least one day out but it worked out fine for me. I got a confirmation quickly in my email and was told I could drop it off anytime before my appointment that day. I dropped off my car about 15 minutes early and there was no line to wait in reception. They confirmed my appointment and told me it would take three hours max to do. I dropped my keys and asked them to call when it was done. I chose the location right next to the south shore plaza mall so it was easy to wait the just about three hours it took to get my new tires and alignment check done by wandering around the mall. I got the call in the expected one frame and reception was very kind when I went to check out. Will be continuing to go here to have my tires maintained.

I had something called a frontal caliberator issue on my Jeep Compass 2016. The auto tech said it would be $1333.00 to do the work. I had new brakes done at a garage in Quincy, MA last fall so I took my car back to them to do the frontal caliberator and the garage in Quincy, MA charged me just $340.00 to do the work. Sullivans tire sales are great. I got new tires from them in February 2025. The staff are very pleasant, but I'd be very cautious about what they charge to have major auto repairs done.

There’s no way these 5 star reviews are real. My girlfriend took her car here to get tires and they found she was missing a couple of wheel studs. After paying her 600 she drove the car home and her battery light came on for the first time since she’s had the car. Next day on the way to work it won’t turn and the radio shuts off. She goes back there and now she needs a new battery, all costing her another 700. And ofcourse when she leaves the check engine light comes on smh. Never again

Over the years, I’ve searched for a repair shop I could truly depend on. I originally went to Sullivan Tire in Braintree (Common Ave) only for my tires. That changed when I brought my car in for an issue another shop had failed to fix. Since then, I’ve trusted Sullivan Tire exclusively for all of my car repairs. I want to thank the Manager and the entire team for always standing behind their work and doing right by their customers. It’s reassuring to know I have a dependable place to bring my car, and I truly appreciate the service you provide.

I just bought a new car and the tires were extremely worn out. Booking my appointment was super easy and I got a call during the service with recommendations for brakes and a few other things and as soon as the vehicle was done they gave me a call. Everyone was very kind and friendly. I worked with Brian and Michael and they made the process very smooth. Both of them were very nice and had amazing customer service skills. I will bring my car here in the future!

I had a small screw in my tire so I went after work to get it plugged. Was told it was going to be $38 (which was fine). Shortly after they show me the screw and tell me its not able to get patched because it was on the shoulder and I can only pay $15 to have the spare put on or to buy a new tire Pulling the screw out, knowing they would not be able to plug it was a dirty sales tactic.

Wow - a buffoon could be more helpful. I brought my car to Sullivan to replace a bent rim. The shop didn't check to see which rim was bent and replaced the wrong tire. Go somewhere else if you want your car serviced by people who care and can think about problem solving.

Good experience every time. Over the weekend, one worker helped me adjust the air pressure in all four tires. No charge for the courtesy. He told me he could see a nail in one of the tires. I returned on Monday without an appointment to have the tire fixed. Within a few hours the tire was repaired. I really appreciated the prompt service and friendly workers.
