Excellent experience. Trevor was friendly, professional, and up-front with me. Service was prompt and reasonably priced. And as a bonus, the location is excellent! I'll definitely return here the next time my car starts acting up.

A friend of mine recommended this place for any work I would need on my '94 Hiace, so I came in with high hopes and was really disappointed by the service I received. I brought my van in for an oil change and some diagnostics on the AC system and a clicking/skipping sound I couldn't identify. From the get go Trevor was oddly standoffish but I didn't think much of it, he could have been having a rough day, who knows? When I got my quote back the next day I asked him to explain the issues to me so I could understand what was going on and why the price point was what it was, and his response was very rude and weirdly misogynistic. I left that conversation feeling gross and upset, he made me feel almost ashamed for having this van in the first place, and I still didn't have a good understanding of what was going on with it and why these repairs would fix the issue. I would have been happy to pay the quoted price once I understood the nature of the issues and the repairs, but he left me feeling so uncomfortable and disrespected that I decided to look for someone else to do the repairs. After some searching I finally found another mechanic who can work on an old import diesel like mine, Dean's Car Care, and the experience I've had there has been so good it has only reaffirmed how bad my experience with Sumo was. Not only were they much more respectful and kind, they made sure I had a thorough understanding of the issues in my vehicle and exactly why the repairs were necessary. On top of that, when they ran their own diagnostics they found that the real problem was something totally different from what had been identified at Sumo. They did the repairs in a timely manner, and the whole thing, including the price of them running their own diagnostics and fixing my AC, cost me less than just the repair originally proposed by Sumo would have cost me. I am so glad I followed my gut and went somewhere else, because otherwise I would have spent almost 2k on a repair that didn't need to be done. I highly recommend Dean's Car Care if you want a respectful and high quality experience.

I tried to have an alignment done to my car(rx8) but was turned away because they don’t work on rotary engine. How is the alignment related to the rotary engine? I thought they worked on jdm? Waste of time, I just went to tirelesschwab. They were fast and cheap. now my rx8 feels amazing on the road. First of all When I entered the door I didn’t even said anything to the receptionist he said we don’t have anyone that works on rotary engines then I asked do you guys do walk-ins and then I asked do I need an appointment which he responded we don’t work with rotary engines sorry boss. I also forgot to mention that he never said anything about “we don’t worked on lower3d cars”.Receptionist seen he didn’t care about customers so I just left.
