My check engine light went on. Called, spoke to Matt. Scheduled an appt. Attempted to leave for appt. vehicle would not start. Matt was understanding and very kind. I asked if I could have it towed, of course. AAA came, simple fix, battery. I let Matt know again super kind. Very much appreciate your kindness Matt. Jeff(Manager) is amazing!! Hands down the best experience I've had with any repair shop. The moment I walked through the doors, was greeted right away. Jeff kindly assured me that they will look at the problem and proceed accordingly if agreed upon. The technician came out and explained what the problem was and what the repair would be. I come here for my repairs. They're honest staff & they get the job done. They send coupons in the mail. Hopefully they can get some ac units going for those small garages, in concern for the working conditions of their garage staff. I Was able to get my side fixed up on my vehicle. They got me in and out. It was a quick fix and they didn't waste any time or try to fool me into buying any extra parts. They didnt charge to pop that piece back in place either I appreciate that! Update: traded my 2015 rogue for a 2022 equinox from Peoria Nissan and it was a lemon. if it wasn't for the honesty of this shop I would have been screwed with a lemon car from Peoria Nissan. Went back after this shops evaluation and got a BRAND NEW 2024 Nissan Rogue. Thanks for your support SUN DEVIL AUTO STAFF!!!

First off, I know my truck is old and needs a lot of work but this is unprofessional. I took it in to have the water pump replaced and to get it to pass emissions. When I picked it up the first thing I noticed was greasy hand prints on the hood and bumper. Then when I started it the check engine light was on. The light went out about half way home. When I got home I went to open the hood and found the hood release was non functional when it worked before. It took me about 15 minutes to get the hood open. I then saw they had replaced the fuel pressure regulator but the vacuum line was cut about 4 inches away. I looked for the rest of the line and finally found it stashed down behind the throttle body. After I started looking around I found other missing lines and plugged ports but I'm not sure if those were already there. When confronted about these issues I was told that $3000 doesn't get much.

I just would like to start off with a huge thank you to the Team, especially Jeff and Matt who took care of me, my concerns, most importantly my vehicle. I had some trust issues from another shop in the valley, not affiliated with Sun Devils - due to this other shop's lack of care and dismissing my concerns, they did not repair what I wanted it which left me stranded in the middle of summer, just days after their consultation. Jeff and Matt addressed my concerns and were never condescending. Did not come up with any more unnecessary repairs to ring up a bill even with my concern of a needing a new starter : finding out it was just a battery was music to my ears and I was delightfully surprised when they didn't take advantage of me thinking I was going to pay for new starter and more. On top of professionalism and honesty, their warmth and friendliness made me feel welcome. I'm so happy to have found a permanent shop for all my auto repair maintenance needs. These guys are awesome. They donβt try to up sale or add unnecessary work unlike other places I have been. Fast and affordable. Very respectful, friendly and honest. After trying a hand full of places and being dissatisfied with the old βwe found a few things that you should addressβ upselling pressure to squeeze a few more hundreds to a thousand dollars out of you. It was refreshing to find an honest auto shop. I will never go anywhere else.

Iβm a middle-aged single woman, and have probably been overcharged for car repairs MANY times! My car is 10 years old and starting to have many issuesβ¦. this time it was an βunknown fluid leakβ!! I originally scheduled service with another company, but they charged $120 just to diagnose the problem, which wouldnβt include parts or laborπ³!! I called Sun Devil Auto & spoke with Service Advisor , Mathew Riggs. He took the time to explain how they would diagnose the car, estimate of prices if parts were needed & how I would be notified every step of the way! (they even provide a FREE Uber home and back to the shop when car is completed!π) I immediately knew where I was taking my car! I felt Matt was forthright and honest with me on the phone, and that is a place. Iβd like to do business with! Just as promised when I drop my car off, Matt kept me updated every step of the wayβ¦ even sent me a VIDEO of my fluid leak and exactly where it was coming from!!ππ» My car was fixed and ready to go in just a few hours and I couldnβt be happier with Sun Devil Auto!! Service advisor Matt was extremely professional and patient me as I asked a multitude of questions! He treated me like more than βjust another numberββ¦. I scheduled an appointment for an oil change here. I got there and the guy at the front desk was highly irritated that I had an appointment and said it wasnβt in the computer and insisted I scheduled it at a different location. After showing him my call log and confirming it was the right location he then magically found my appointment in his computer. He then took a call where he explained to the person that everyone including βthe lady in front of meβ gets the shops mixed up. When he was off the phone I let him know we have established I did not mix anything up and was in the right place. Then he said it would be an hour and a half because they are not a quick place. I told him that seemed like a long time when I have an appointment. He said that he schedules all oil changes for one hour but mine would be longer βbecause of the mix upβ. I did advise him there was no mix up as I scheduled an appointment and he sees it in his computer. I told him I would wait. He said it would be a while but I can wait if I want which made me feel unwelcome. Then I asked him if they could close out the request when he finishes the oil change for Hertz as it is a rental and it wasnβt done the last time I came in which caused a lot time wasted because I had to go to Hertz and prove it was done. The man explained loudly that he has to wait on Hertz to approve things and create different profiles in the computer and that he can only do so much. I told him that he was stressing me out. It felt like he wanted to argue with everything I said. He wasnβt okay with me having an appointment from the start. It was way too much drama for a scheduled oil change. I left without the oil change.

They did the most complete and in depth diagnostic test on my car to determine what was causing it to shake when reaching 40+ mph. It showed pictures of the cause and video plus a checklist of every important component that makes the car run. Their ability to assess, explain and show you what was found was the most detailed I have ever seen from an auto repair company. Highly recommend them!

I brought my Luci in for a total timing and carb idle adjustment. It is a night and day difference in how she runs. I highly recommend their tech Jeff in working on your pride and joy. Jeff loves to work on these cars and I'll be sure to go back for any engine work I need done on my '29 model A. I felt i was i good hands when I handed Jeff my keys. A friend referred me there. I had some work I needed done quickly. I called and was told to drop on by. I did and I was greeted by friendly professional people. They assessed the situation, gave an estimate, ordered the part, and did the work in less than 6 hours even with the part delay. The place is clean and comfortable in spite of no vending machine or tv. Fast, quality service comes at a price. Even with several available discounts it's a Chuck of change if your car isn't under warranty. That's the only reason I couldn't give 5 stars. There are several locations but this one seems to be extra special so expect a wait.

Before giving your money to this business please read this. Iβve been a loyal customer for the last 3 years and spent thousands of my hard earned money supporting SDA, Iβve brought in my Tacoma, Bronco, and GMC for all my repairs and regular maintenance. This past Monday, I came in after waking up to a flat tire and a slow leak in another. These tires were purchased from SDA just a year ago and are still under the 3 year warranty. I was hoping for a simple patch or at least an honest inspection. I physically saw two nails, one in my front driver tire and one in my back passenger tire. However, the team insisted there were no punctures at all. I left feeling dismissed and gaslit. It honestly felt like they were avoiding honoring the warranty, and the comment from Alex suggesting I was just trying to get free tires was extremely insulting, especially given my long standing customer history. I also clearly explained this was my only day off, and I wouldnβt be able to come back. Despite that, I left with unresolved issuesβ¦ and now, here I am on a holiday weekend dealing with the exact same two tires I asked them to inspect. Iβm disappointed and frustrated. Itβs not just about tires, itβs about integrity and how you treat people whoβve supported your business for years. UPDATE took the car back to get the issue resolved. As soon as I start expressing my frustration Jeff took it personal got loud and instead of acknowledging the issue and offering a solution, Jeff escalated the whole thing and refused me service kicking me out of the shop. So I went down to the SDA on 67th ave and bell rd and would you look at that. They actually did their jobs and fixed the problem without any issues. I knew I was being gaslit. Jeff please do better, being dismissive, unprofessional and point blank rude is absolutely not acceptable as a store manager coming from a fellow business owner.

All good reviews are probably bought once because I had horrible experience at this place. So.. I had an traction control light on, on my 2015 Toyota Prius from a while. Friends told me that it's not a big deal you can still drive and frankly speaking my car was driving fine, no issues. But I decided to get it checked and fixed. I went to this place on Wednesday and guy told me that they do diagnose problems for free but I have to leave my car there. I didn't like that option so I said give me an appointment when your mechanic is available I will make it in his time, so I don't have to leave my car. Guy gave me an appointment. I went next day exact on time, another bearded guy seems like owner, told me I have to leave my car there because it will take several hoursβπ©. Then he told me, there will be $99.00 chargeβπ©. Ok I still agreed to diagnose. After few hours he calls me and tells me my vehicle does NOT look good he haven't seen anything like this, there will be $1560 total with parts, labour, and taxes βπ©. I couldn't believe it. Okay, so I went back there and said I don't want to proceed with repairs. So he wanted his $99 for diagnosis. I said ok but I need all you diagnosis and charges on paper and I will pay. He got angry started accusing me of misbehaving and using them for free. I did not change and said give me it on paper and I will pay, now he didn't want me to talk anymore he started yelling at me to leave and said, he is not charging me for anything. ?? Why?? I was ready to pay I just wanted their diagnosis and charges in detail on paper. I went to O'Reilly and got diagnosis for free. Then straight went to Toyota dealership and my small issue got fixed for under $150. Wow, I will never step in this shop ever again. Attaching all the pics for you guys. Good luck.

These guys are the very best, and I mean, absolute best place in the valley, whether you go east, west, north or, south. A beautifully clean shop with prompt honest service at the best price you will find available. I would not recommend going anywhere else for any of your services. I was in and out fast getting my transmission and differential changed. The manager even took the time to get in my vehicle and drive around the block with me because they could not hear a noise that I was swearing up and down that I could hear. They took the extra time and patience to listen to everything that I was trying to figure out with the vehicle, and went the extra mile to assure I drove away with confidence in my vehicle. These guys are champs! Thanks again for the wonderful job you did on my truck! I look forward to returning when future maintenance is required.
