Was really friendly and knowledge, did a quick smog check on our RV and even checked the brake fluid for free since he said that often gets overlooked when RVs are left sitting for a while. Fortunately ours was fine, but it's great that he checked!

I took my Toyota Sienna here after the dealer in Sunnyvale kept charging me money to "fix" things that were breaking because they weren't checking them during routine maintenance--things like filters and fluids! My breaks were bad, my tires were bad, and my A/C was shot. The dealer in Sunnyvale told me it would cost $800 dollars to fix the A/C because it had a leak. I took my car to Superior Automotive, and they found the A/C did have a leak, but it also had an electrical problem. They fixed BOTH issues, for WAY less than the dealer. They fixed my breaks, my A/C, and my tire issue, and now my car drives better than it has in years. They are honest about costs and time, two big issues I was having with the Toyota dealer. I would recommend this place to anyone who is tired of getting ripped off.

This place is very knowledgeable about cars. I had an air vent which 5 other mechanics couldn't figure out what it was but Steve at Superior knew what it was and reinstalled for me no problem. I usually take my car here when other mechanics cant figure out whats going on with the car or its a more complex job.

I have worked with Steve Marlborough and have nothing bad to say about him. Honest and knowledgeable, that is for sure. I highly recommend his service. He know his stuff down to the details. And communcates and provides clear expectations and timelines for his repairs. Not like some places where car or truck is gone week or longer for somthing simple which they fail to share they are overbooked on work..which is not cool.

Trustworthy & Competent When another shop de-tuned my 4runner for a smog cert and couldn't get it to pass or run right again, Superior got it running cleaner and better than ever. Now I take all the car servicing that I don't do myself to Superior. Not the cheapest rate but compensated in efficiency and honesty.

We were stranded in Morgan Hill's Target parking lot when our minivan's fuel pump and oil pressure sender gauge failed during our trip from Oakland to Moss Landing. Steve gave us the lock code to his service yard so we could have the minivan towed there after hours, ready for his staff to work on first thing in the morning. He drove us to and from our Morgan Hill hotel the next two days. He even for a very nominal sum rented us his truck so we could drive back to our home in Oakland when the work took longer than anticipated through no fault of his own. My long-term Oakland mechanic corroborated Steve's diagnosis of our mechanical problems. Steve was scrupulously honest. Morgan Hill residents are fortunate to have this excellent mechanic.

I called them while I was looking around to see which service station I wanted to use. There are several around with good reputations in our immediate location. The service was not the most expensive nor the cheapest. He (Steve, the owner) was knowledgeable and was straight-forward. What I got was quick service (I didn't even have to wait in the lobby long), the price was precisely what he said it would be and my problem was fixed. I will keep going back to him, even though it's a little further (since I moved), but I value the experience I got from them before. In fact, I am going back to get my car smog checked soon.

I've had Steve and his guys do a number of things to my cars. Every time he explains whats going on very clearly. Every time I buy a new or used car, Superior Auto and RV is the first place I take it to receive a look over. I highly recommend him.

My car started making a strange noise Fri evening. Steve made time to see me right away and fix it!! He gave an accurate estimate as to how long the repair would take (as He knew i would be waiting for the car). He explained what was wrong, what they did to correct the problem, and answered all my questions in layman terms, much appreciated as i don't speak mechanic fluently. I trust Steve completely! Anytime i need a car repair i know it will be fixed correctly the first time without the shop adding 'extra' repairs to the bill. Steve is professional, honest, and a pleasure to work with. While i hope i'm not in need of another repair anytime soon, when i am i will be calling Superior Automotive & RV.

Brought in my RV with an issue on the Onan Generator. No one would touch it and Steve and his team not only fixed it but did it in 4 days and worked with my warranty company. Amazing!!!! Taking my coach here from now on!

I called for an estimate to install my supplied part. The guy who answered the phone said they won't install "customer-supplied parts". Ok, no problem, I understand. So I asked for an estimate for parts and labor, he said they were too busy for him to provide an estimate and I would have to email him a laundry list of items, (which I totally understand and am willing to do but not after you just told me you are too busy for me). I don't know how people who work in the service industry can be so rude and unappreciative for new/more business. I'm only one person but without your customers and potential new customers any business will fall. I wish you well with your business. RESPONSE TO THE OWNER: Perhaps you didn't understand my review when I said "(which I totally understand and am willing to do but not after you just told me you are too busy for me)." Instead of being a good owner/manager/boss and humbling yourself to the this minor situation you try to point the finger back at me to "help me understand". I was very understanding when you told me you wouldn't install my supplied part. I didn't get upset, instead I asked you how much it would be for your parts and labor and before giving me the laundry list of items you wanted me to provide you with you said you were too busy and didn't have time. Even then I was understanding to you, I told you it was fine since you were too busy for me. Either way, I wish you well with your business.

Steve knows his stuff! We are grateful that he rescued us near closing time when our RV failed to start at the Apple HQ in Cupertino and we had to be towed to Superior Auto. He got us running and even provided further technical support over the phone when the RV wouldn't start again at our campsite. He offered a suggestion for a permanent solution to the intermittent starting problem we have had since we bought the RV two years ago! Now we need to get Ford to fix it!!!

We didn't plan well and needed an oil change on short notice for our motorhome. Superior managed to squeeze us in and were fast and efficient at a fair price, including checking our brake fluid and inspecting the undercarriage. We came back a few days later to have them replace our city water valve. They told us the price up-front, and finished more quickly than they promised. Excellent all around!

Couldn't be happier with their service. Their prices are higher than some of the lower quality shops in town because the quality of work they do here is, well, superior. Steve has on multiple occasions outdone the work required to guarantee that I left with a quality experience. We take our personal vehicles and work trucks here. Also all of their work is guaranteed which they do uphold generously. Will be back, no doubt.

RV repair is challenging in these post-COVID times with overbooking, staffing/skillset issues, and parts availability. First time meeting Steve & his crew and so worth the 2 hour drive to get to his shop. Came in for a power steering leak but they found a couple additional rather serious issues needing attention. All repairs completed, very efficient, explained what was found, kept me apprised of status and, and had me back on the road in the committed timeframe. Highly recommend Superior and will be my go-to shop in the future.

I cannot say enough great things about Superior Auto and RV. Steve and his crew are meticulous with their work. I use this shop for maintenance and repairs as needed and have been very satisfied. When in a jam needing to have something worked on right away Steve has always found the ability to get me on the road. I would recommend this auto repair shop with full confidence that my family, friends, and others will be treated with the same respect and quality of service that I have received over the past several years. Bottom-line. If you want it done correctly the first time, if you want it done without worry as to the quality of parts used,,,,, take your vehicles to Steve!

This review is long overdue but Steve and his team are ROCKSTARS! I had issues with my RV starting and had to get it towed there and while I was there Steve helped me address a couple other issues with the RV that would have definitely been a pain to deal with if they happened while on the road. I found their prices to be extremely fair and they went above and beyond communicating with me to make sure I could make the proper arrangements since I live in my RV full time. I would highly highly recommend them for any of your service needs!

Our 2002 40’ Safari motorhome was leaking diesel fuel. Steve and mechanic Dustin diagnosed it quickly and found other things that really required immediate attention. I believe they prevented us from a painful breakdown later on. The parts would take days to come in and knowing we live in it full time, offered us a 30 amp hookup and let us stay there at night. We came in on Monday and were back on the road by Friday. I would highly recommend them to anyone as they are thoroughly expert at what they do. They also had to access our engine through the bedroom hatch and took great precautions to keep things covered and protected from grease. You do get what you pay for. Thanks Steve and Dustin. I wanted to add another kudo. After getting back to our home state and needing a state inspection. I had a side marker light wire that I knew needed reattached and had put off until I needed inspection. It had come loose and the tire must have cut through it. I always check my lights before inspection to save the labor rate for simple things. I crawled under to fix it only to find it was already done. The only repair shop I had been too since was Superior and they didn’t tell me about it or charge me for it either! Thanks again guys.
