Ordered their premium car wash, but they weren’t able to clean under carriage. Went through car washed twice, had to go to Empire car wash to finish.

We came through and select the Ultimate package cleaning, the windshield was still dirty, tires were only 25% shined on one side , the other side were not shined at all after the wash. Talked with the manager, he lets us go through the wash 2 times, but their cleaning system seems not functioning like they should. They would not refund for the dissatisfied service, claim that we need to contact corporate for that. The manager could only let our car go through the wash again, but that doesn’t solve the issue, end result as the car is not cleaned as their package stated. We could be happy if they are honest about their system can’t function properly, tell us about it when we started the wash. The manager didn’t handle the issue well and didn’t want to do anything to solve the issue. The car wash Doesn’t Wash the Car Clean! The ultimate package is a scam!

Stopped here today for a wash. Keep in mind, this was $17 for a drive through car wash. After going through the first time, I vacuumed my car and noticed my entire hood was still covered in dirt spots. I could wipe them away easily by hand. Assuming this was a fluke, I went up and they offered me a re-wash. After re-wash, dirt was still there. Like I said, wiped off by hand easily, so it’s not some stuck on grime. I noticed nobody brushed the hood at the beginning either of the two times it went through, and later that the brushes inside didn’t touch the hood. I go back and ask if they could just use the hand brush they use on the rest of the car on the hood. They tell me “We can’t brush your hood unless you’re a member here. It’s for liability reasons”. So I asked for a refund and I would just go elsewhere. “Once you go through, we can not offer you a refund. That’s our policy”. They said they could spray my hood with some bug spray and re-wash it for a THIRD time. Unsurprisingly, same dirt, same place, right on the top of the hood remained after the THIRD WASH. Just going to dispute the charge as they wouldn’t refund. “Manager” there seemed pretty incompetent. Not a care to attempt to resolve the issue. Only one staff member apologized and acknowledged it was not okay. Have three photos, each after another re-wash. Wish I could show the video of how easily the spots came off by hand. Save your time and money across the street. $10 and car actually came out clean. They said they get people over there all the time with same issue.

Does not get car clean. Won't remove bugs and won't remove dirt from any concave surfaces. Brushes don't even touch the back of the car. Not sure they should even call themselves a car wash?

Definitely buy the cheapest wash, this car wash did nothing but squirt some water. The scrubber barely touched the the sides and didn't touch the front. Left all the bugs that were there beforehand. The only reason it gets 2 stars in that the vacuums they have are actually pretty good. Would only come here again for the vacuums.

I love Surf Thru! I have a membership and get unlimited washes. I work on a ranch property with dirt/ gravel roads and run my rig by Surf thru to clean the dust and mud off. The employees are always helpful and it’s great that I can use my membership at any location!

Paid for the ultimate wash. Told them it was important to get the bugs off the front and they assured me no problem. After the first time through it was still really bad. So we went back through and told them most were still on there. The attached pictures are after TWO times through. I ended up cleaning them off myself. Why did I even pay for a car wash. Frustrating!!

Their Ultimate car wash fails to deliver on almost all points! Several areas on front, sides and rear were still dirty, minimal rinse left suds visible afterwards, wheels and tires were barely rinsed and the tire shine was only sprayed on less than 1/4 of all the tires! Finally, the blow dryer is very weak, leaving over half the vehicle covered with beaded water. I used the compressed air at the vacuuming station to blow off some areas and a large towel to finish it. The only good thing about this car wash is it's location and the vacuuming. Not wasting $20 again!!

DO NOT TAKE YOUR VEHICLE HERE, THEIR CAR WASH WILL DAMAGE YOUR CAR! I took my brand new car to this car wash and their machines completely destroyed my passenger side mirror. They claimed the damage was at no fault of their machines so they will not cover the damage to my vehicle. Even though the vehicle that went into the car wash before my car experienced the same damages to their driver side mirror (mine was on the passenger side mirror). I am left with a repair bill to fix the damages their car wash did to my passenger side mirror for $719.55. I am contacting and reporting their business to the Better Business Bureau.

I should have read the reviews before I went…. $20 for the extreme wash and my windshield and bumper are still covered in bugs. The clean portion of my car came out beautifully but it was literally already clean. Good news for me is this isn’t my closest car wash anyway. I’ll stick to my regular one on the North end of town.

The staff was very nice and helpful went thru and got the most expensive wash because my boyfriend had been letting me use his car so I wanted it to be all nice and clean as a thank you. The first time I went thru when I got to the vacuums and got out the top was still dry. I went back to the cashier and he looked at the car puzzled, so he said I could go back thru so I did and then when I got back to the vacuums it was still dirty but I had to get kids picked up so I didn’t attempt a 3rd try. Very disappointed and later I ended up going to another car wash.

Not worth it. See pictures. This was after the "Ultimate" wash. I guess it's the ultimate scam. You get to pay more money then other places locally and you still have a dirty car. Seems like their wheel cleaner is most definitely not worth the money. Go to the touchless wash near the Arco at the south end of 3rd. Waaaaay better results for less money. This was the last wash on the card I purchased. Glad to be done with this substandard, over priced, non wash.

Sad when you spend $25 to clean your car, the highest “quality” cleaning, and it barely cleans. This newer one went wayyyy faster than the one off 27th too, which was odd. This was in their parking lot minutes after the wash too. Not coming back here again.

First time trying this car wash was totally pointless. That part was nobody cared, they got your money. The machine pulled the cars through so fast that the brush tips barely touched the car. The dirt was still on all the windows and basically smudged on the car. A total waste of $20 i thought twenty bucks for a car wash.That's expensive, but I thought maybe it might be worth it. Please don't bother save your money.Pay the kid next door.

I’ve been a customer for years now and have always gone to surf thru and have had no complaints but when I got laid off from my job in September of 2025 I cancelled (even got the cancellation email stating my membership had been cancelled) my membership to save on money for me and my family and they have been charging me $36 a month since then I called yesterday and after explaining everything to the guy he start arguing with me and then tells me they had been charging me for two monthly accounts? That makes a lot of sense lol. I had a “share card” so my girlfriend could use my account and wash her car too for an extra $4-6 a month. So he never even tried to help me to find a way to cancel it. Just wanted to argue you and talk to me like I was stupid. but when I cancelled my membership they never actually cancelled it. Since they’ve been obviously charging me. I tried getting ahold of someone else from the company but I haven’t heard anything. To me this feels like theft. If I cancel my subscription it should cancel everything. I don’t understand why they still choose to charge me. I’m going to leave this review up until I hear a response and this issue is resolved. I’d like to be reimbursed for this as I haven’t even gone to their car wash since I “canceled” my membership. Not impressed and will look for a different car wash when I choose to get another membership.

VERY disappointed. I stopped in to get a quick wash yesterday (5/20/24). My car was not excessively dirty, but I was hoping to get it shiny and remove some of the dead bugs. My next stop after the car wash was a grocery store a few minutes away (on a dry sunny day). When I got out to look at the car, this is what I found. All photos were taken approximately 5-10 minutes after the car wash. TONS of dirty spots, bugs still all over the windshield and front bumper, and even the dirt arch created by the rear windshield still there - it appeared untouched by the car wash. I paid for the “ultimate” which is the 3rd highest out of 4 levels offered here. It said it included a tire shine, but as you can see, the tires are filthy. Most car washes seem to do a decent job. This one was terrible. A complete waste of money. Spend your money elsewhere!

In May of 2025 I requested to downgrade my subscription. While sitting there for 15 minutes, they were unable to figure out how. They said I could drive through and it will be downgraded by the morning. A few months later, I realized I’ve been getting charged the full $40 every month. No one attempted to contact me to let me know that they couldn’t downgrade it. I admit I should’ve been checking my bank statements, but I trusted them, and have been distracted with college full time and my pregnancy. I called the manager to request a refund or partial refund and he refused since I’ve used the wash ONE time. There is NO indication of what wash you’re receiving when you drive through. I made the mistake of assuming it was handled professionally but you cannot trust the teenagers that work there. Additionally, the car wash sucks in general and they don’t offer rags. $40 is an outrageous price for the poor quality. However, this carwash has lost my business due to the management. Refer to the picture for how awful the carwash is for the most expensive option.

I have a membership and had good experiences at the original Surf Thru, but this location has been plagued with problems. The members line barrier fails to rise, requiring the workers to manually help out., not once has my car left the wash completely dry, the vacuum hoses continually come apart and on a number of times I received the wrong wash for what I paid for. It is convenient though.

I have supported this company ever since they opened their first car wash in Bend. I even bought unlimited wash passes for both of our vehicles, but only used them once or twice a month, and sometimes not at all. When one car was involved in an accident and was in the shop for a month I forgot to suspend the monthly pass. When I let them know after the fact, it took months to get a response. When I did get a response they basically accused me of lying. They can easily see that I have been paying them for years now, and could easily see I did not use the service with that car for 6 weeks, as I have done many times in the past few years, but I never asked for a credit before. They basically chose to deny a one month credit ($19) for a customer that has been paying them more than $40 a month since they opened, and I would have continued to do so if they had just done the right thing. Now I see why they only have a 3 Star rating, so they obviously treat all of their customers this way. I will go back to Empire Car wash, or one of the self wash places in Bend rather than support a company from another state that treats their customers like crap.
