My mother needs 24/7 care, and when my dad was unexpectedly hospitalized, Synergy was able to help me get care in place within hours. They worked with us on hours and flexibility with an existing caregiver we had, and adjusted caregivers based on my mom's preferences and needs. It was such a stressful time, but knowing that they were handling my mom's care and that I didn't have to worry about her or take care of her myself was a huge help. Their office staff was great and we liked most of the caregivers a lot. I would highly recommend calling them if you need help, whether its part time or 24/7.★★★★★ 5 years ago

Synergy is an amazing company! Our skilled nursing facility utilizes their services for patients while in our facility and also once they have returned home and require some additional support. The staff is kind, caring and compassionate and the response time is always extremely quick. We have needed services in the facility same day and there is not even a hesitation to assist us in filling the need. I primarily work with Alice in setting up care for patients and they could not have chosen a better person as the face of their company in the community. Peace of mind. I am a professional that sometimes works with Synergy home care. I have met the owner, the administrative team, the sales rep, and I have seen the training facility. I have a background in healthcare, and this Denver Home Care company does things differently. They literally have an entire training program to teach their caregivers how to change people, baithe, transfer, perform household duties and how to be an effective companion. No one can care for your loved one As well as you. However, I urge to look no further. There is a reason these folks have been in business twelve years. She even called me back to follow up and see if there were any other questions or what I had decided to do with my father. I would not recommend working here due to extremely poor communication. Even during the interview process, I had to repeat my availability multiple times to two different people. The interview itself went well until I was informed that the starting pay was $19.75/hour with no room for negotiation, while other Synergy locations start at $22/hour and are negotiable. I clearly stated my availability during the interview: no later than 2:00 PM. I was told this would not be an issue. However, problems began immediately with orientation. Communication was inconsistent and confusing. I first received an email stating orientation was from 9:00 AM–2:00 PM, which worked for me. The day before orientation, I received another email changing the time to 10:00 AM–3:00 PM. I explained that I would need to leave by 2:00 PM, as previously discussed. Instead of honoring what was agreed upon, I was told I had to stay the full time and was argued with about it. Eventually, I was told I could attend orientation and leave by 2:00 PM, but only on another Thursday. When I followed up to schedule that, I was again told orientation was only from 10:00 AM–3:00 PM. When I pointed out that this contradicted what I had been told earlier, I was told that no such message existed. After I provided a screenshot of the conversation, I was told it was “just a typo.” At that point, it was clear there was a lack of accountability and consistency. What stood out most was that the employee handbook repeatedly emphasizes communication, yet my experience showed the complete opposite. This organization feels disorganized and unprofessional, and it does not honor clear agreements made during the hiring process.★★★★★ a week ago
