AVOID! Do not take your car here!! They shorted out my friends alternator and distribution block and refused to take responsibility. "Life isn't fair" is what they told him. Go somewhere else with your money.

I would give it a zero but I can’t , I took my 2002 Chevy Silverado to this auto mechanic shop in 2022 so they can fix my knock sensors . They gave me a price of 360 just for labor . I bought my own parts, which was 2 Knock sensors , an intake gasket , and the harness so they can install it for me . 2 years later which is now 2024, not EVEN 2 years since I took my truck for them to fix it, knock sensor code came up again, so I decided to do the job myself , I opened the whole intake and took the sensors off that I gave them 2 years ago, and guess what?? Seems like one sensor was a factory one and the other was a cheap brand , the wiring wasn’t even the one I gave them and not even the sensors . They somehow never used or install the items that I gave them. The only thing they took from me , was they stole my money . So screw this place !

Chris and Carlos are some of the best mechanics I've ran into in a long time. They have worked on my lil Chevy Sonic quite a bit and nothing in me says try another mechanic! I love these guys. They are quick and Chris knows it all!!! Very knowledgeable about cars! I trust them which I have never been able to say about any of the other mechanics I've been to in Joliet before. My buddy recommended Tala Auto a few years back and I have been coming here ever since. I have never felt like I was ever taken advantage of by Carlos, Chris, or anyone @ the shop. After my positive experience with Tala Auto I felt obligated to sit down and share my experience. In my experience it’s rare to find an auto shop that is both reliable and honest, and I am grateful I found one near me like Tala Auto. The owner as well as the staff have been incredibly easy to work with and never did I get the sense of them pushing unnecessary repairs/services on me or anything of that nature. Juan and his team were honest, straightforward, efficient, and overall a welcomed relief after cycling through many other shops similar that did not share Tala Auto’s value. Hopefully anyone reading this that were in my position will give them a call. Can’t thank them enough. Car repairs can be very stressful and I’m just glad I have someone I can rely on and trust in the future when I need them.
