Went to look at two things, planned to purchase one I had seen previously. Not on sale or anything unusual. That item out of stock, the other things had no prices, no one nearby to ask, and didn't want to carry patio chairs around to find a place to price check. So they lost sales. This is a frequent occurrence at this store.

This is the worst target ever. Tried calling to check on my pick up order, phone kept ringing until it just hung up. No one answers in any department, worse that the pharmacy. Any good reviews are people who are relatives or friends of those who work at this store. Lamest target ever. Should’ve went to Walmart

Was near Target and needed to get a plain white long sleeve dress shirt. Popped in there and headed to the Mens clothing section. They did not have a single plain white long sleeve dress shirt. Asked an associate who was working the mens section and he had no idea....HUH!? The most basic of men's clothing items. No wonder you guys are losing money hand over fist, quarter after quarter. Get back to the basics Target and get your act together....

I have to agree with the other reviews. This is the worst target ever. I really don’t think it’s the fault of the manager or of the employees. Santa Maria has too many thieves to count. The actual clients in this city are horrible. They’re mean and nasty and rude.I’m just glad that shoplifting is now a felony. I was here today to try to buy a few things. I ended up with some toothpaste and cotton balls that’s about all I could find. if you live on the central coast, you might as well visit the target in San Luis Obispo. Since this one is a total waste of time.

This is the only target that I would never go to. I've gone to a lot of target stores but this is the worst, so I use Drive Up. If I ever have to go down, I'd go to SLO instead.

As usual I just had another fantastic shopping experience at our Santa Maria Target. I want to send a special shout out thank you to our very special Pharmacist Sandra with advising me on my new medications after my surgery! It’s always nerve racking trying to keep things straight after that but she’s great at helping with that. Thanks again!

Staff buys all the pokemon, magic other trading cards before the hit the floor and resells them in parking lot at scalper prices having them behind the counter only turned the staff into scalpers avoid this store if your hunting for cards staff will just turn you away or just say their out when they dont even check because they were told by managers or other staff told them not to bring it out. Been checking this store for awhile now and mostly they have non desirable products like single pack limited already reported to corporate and nothing has been done to address this issue avoid this place for card hunting

A total wreck. Came to find my daughter some pants and there was clothes all over the floor, broken hangers everywhere and the shelves were a wreck. There was just one associate cleaning up, poor guy, while three associates hung out gossiping about a customer by the fitting room very loudly.

Their drive up pick up is consistently the slowest I’ve experienced at any store, no matter the time of day you come. Expect at least a 20 minute wait, better just to go inside if you can.

It’s so small, always cluttered, the drive up pick up takes forever. I can’t stand this target. And the employees all park in the front instead of the side parking lot, so it’s always difficult finding a decent spot to park at any time of the day.

Love target but three stars for their customer service team especially those working the family pajama sets on black friday. You are literally paid to help customers and two of targets employees started bad mouthing customers stating we shouldn't be allowed in the area and we should have to got through them for the sets we want- which was quite comical because when asked for any assistance we were met with a 13 year old who was asked to clean their room and then questioned what is that rank looking thing over in the corner and where does it belong? The huffing and puffing and I dont know, it's not my fault, eye roll eye roll. I literally thought I was about to dole out chores and grounding rules. But then remembered I'm talking to an employee of target asking for help with pajamas and just decided I needed to leave.

Target’s promotions and pricing feel like bait-and-switch. We tried to use a $25 off $150 offer, but half the items that qualified in the app were excluded in the fine print, and the discount never applied even after returns and repurchases. Several items also rang up higher than the price shown in the Target app, and we were told the “online price” is only honored if we speak up before checkout. The employees were kind, but Target’s systems and policies make it far too difficult to get the prices and promotions they advertise. After this experience, we’ll be shopping elsewhere.

I needed to complete some last-minute Christmas shopping on Christmas Eve. Upon returning to the electronics department, I was greeted by a male and female employee behind the counter. Unfortunately, my attention was immediately drawn to the female employee's use of inappropriate language. I was taken aback by her unprofessional behavior, particularly on Christmas Eve. When I inquired about a product with the male employee, he informed me that only one item was left in stock, but his demeanor was notably lackluster. At that point, my primary objective was to finalize my purchase and depart the store. Already feeling melancholic due to being away from my family on Christmas Eve, I had hoped for a more pleasant shopping experience. It was disappointing to encounter such unprofessionalism, which left me feeling disheartened upon leaving the store. The quality of customer service has seemingly declined. As representatives of the store, it is their responsibility to provide adequate service, even if they would rather not be present. Unfortunately, the overall experience was subpar. Consequently, I will not be shopping at Target in the future. I hope that in the future, the store will strive to provide better service. I’m not sure if the rest of the store is like the electronics department but they need to do better!!!!
