Great management, great crew at the Santa Maria Broadway location. I made an appointment in advance, they ordered my tires and had them mounted and balanced in less that 45 minutes. They also stocked a hard to find rear wiper blade for our vehicle. I totally recommend this location, but also advise making an appointment.

My dad recommended this place for tires, and he knows good deals so i took his word for it. I called and made an appointment which was very easy; i actually talked to a real person and not some AI-chatbot. The service rep scheduled me for the next day, to my surprise (i thought they’d be booked up until next month like everywhere else in this town). I got there 10 minutes before my appointment and was helped in less than five minutes after arriving. Only took them 45 mins to completely replace all four of my tires and inspect my windshield wipers. They had great prices on tires and i was pretty surprised how much less it cost me than going to Big Brand Tires like last time. The shop was clean and the mechanics were fast. One thing you need to know is that they don’t have an alignment jack at the Santa Maria location. I had to outsource for that service separately.

Great prices and a good staff. I do wish they had public WiFi though. Just came in for a third set on my wife’s car. Just under 100,000 miles on this set. Got our money’s worth on these tires! Always fun to watch a well functioning crew that works together and anticipates the next move.

I’m currently working/temporarily living in the San Luis Obispo area. In March of 2023, my tire was decimated by a massive pothole on the 101 en route to one of the hospitals I work at. I had it towed to the nearest place that could help: America’s Tire, San Luis Obispo location. Understanding I needed to get to the the hospital ASAP, they were extremely quick. I left there feeling confident and safe. Fast forward by 4 months, my car activated the TPMS alarm, alerting me that the same tire was loosing air. I couldn’t visualize an obvious problem but upon using a gauge to check, I learned that the tire had a pressure of 12 psi! (I think it’s suppose to be somewhere around 46 psi.) I drove my car to the Santa Maria center, which was the closest one to my current location, arriving at 1757 (with their closing time at 1800). I totally expected them to turn me away, (At best, I was hoping they would fill it with air to hold me over until they reopened the next morning). To my utter surprise and appreciation, they resolved it there! Gabe and Alvaro were amazing! They rapidly removed the tire, discovering a nail imbedded in a section that’s not visible when attached to the vehicle. I’m not a big believer in buying warranties. In my experience, they never seem to cover the majority of issues that actually occur. Against my typical modus operandi, I shelled out the extra $29.99 for a warranty on the tire when I made the original purchase back in March. I’m thinking there’s no way this is going to be covered under warranty. They’ll find some reason. For the second time that day, I was pleasantly surprised; they didn’t attempt to hustle me! They quickly replaced my tire at no charge due to the warranty. Then I bought another warranty for the new tire. As a female with a level of automobile knowledge “stereotypical” to that of females, I genuinely appreciate honest professionals in the auto industry. I am also grateful as they prevented me from having to go in late to work the next morning! 💕

They got me in and out of there quickly. I like this place because they have the observation window so you can see exactly how they are treating your car. I had some Forged One Competition Wheels installed on my 2018 Golf R. They did a fantastic job. It cost $22 per wheel so $88 total. I used my previous Michelin Pilot® Sport All Season 4 tires and they were able to get it done quickly. The wheels look amazing on the car. They did recommend bringing the car back after driving 100 miles on the new wheels so they can retorque the lug nuts. I did that and I was glad that I did because to my surprise there were some lug nuts that needed a slight tightening. Don’t skip the retorque! Just come back because it only takes like 2 mins especially if they aren’t busy. All the technicians were great and easy to talk to. Additionally, they will box up your old wheels, lug nuts, caps and place them in your vehicle if you decide not to dispose of them. I think the disposal fee is only like 3 bucks if you go that route. I highly recommend. My only complaint about this place is that the the location access is narrow and the parking lot is small. If you have a lowered car you may scrape if you don’t take your time when coming in and out of the place. Just a heads up.

I researched what size tires I needed, ordered tires online with the help of a superb customer service rep and scheduled appointment. When I showed up for appointment I was helped immediately and car was ready in about 30 minutes. They also were able to replace the tire sensors for much cheaper than I had been quoted elsewhere, so I got that done as well. It was truly amazing!

Today I went to American Tires to buy two tires that were already a bit worn out. Fortunately, they offered me a lot of options for every budget, and I was satisfied with the purchase of the two tires. If there’s one thing I would suggest to improve the service, it’s that the employees should move a little faster—just my humble opinion, but it felt like the energy was a bit low. I should mention that maybe it’s because I didn’t have an appointment, but even so, despite the long wait, I give the service an 8.5 out of 10.

Title: Items didn't arrive on time, and never received refund I ordered a full-size spare for my car (a wheel and tire) here. They didn't have my size in stock so the employee just had it shipped from another location, but since I was only in town for a few days, I emphasized to the employee that I needed it to arrive by January 2nd since I would not be in town after that date to pick it up. The employee said that was okay, and that it would arrive by the date requested. Unfortunately, this was not the case. When I returned on Jan. 2nd, I was informed that only the tire had arrived and the wheel was still in transit. I explained the issue to the employee, telling him that I was leaving and would not be able to return to pick up the wheel, asking if I could get a refund for the wheel at least. He said that only the store manager was authorized to issue refunds but the manager was not present at the time. Despite me calling back several times later throughout the day, the manager was not available, and I have still yet to receive a refund.

Will never go back! On Dec. 19, I ordered tires through the store, was told 2 days to get tires from another location. Paid a deposit. Never heard from them. Called them on Dec.27 only to learn they never ordered them . Again was told they would be there in 2 days. Showed up for install appt only to wait in line for 20 minutes to check in (online app wasn't working). Checked me in, promised to be done by 10:30 and 20 minutes later, they can't find my tires. After all this the manager never even acknowledged me when helping employees with my refund.

I had gone to their website and ordered the tires I wanted and made an appointment for installation. Very, very easy! I received a call from the store that the tires had come in and would I like to come in earlier? I asked and they said I could come in that same day. When I arrived there was a sign in front of a bay with my name and make/model of my car! Really nice! I was in and out of the store in just under an hour. Anthony and all th rest of the crew were professional and friendly. It was a great experience AND the veteran's discount was appreciated!
