Came back here because they were able to fix an alignment another shop messed up on our truck. Brought our car in for an alignment as well, not only did we leave with a crooked steering wheel, they broke a bolt to the control arm and we had to pay 3x the amount we had budgeted for them to fix their mistake. They blamed it on the rust, however if it had a chance of breaking they should have notified us and we would have had them not do the alignment as we did not have the money. They even admitted to knowing this was gonna happen and gave us a "discount." This also meant we were out of a car for an extra week, so we had to spend money on ubers. Then when it was finally done they said they'd be able to pick me up to go get it as my husband was traveling, they guy was super rude an unprofessional and the car they picked me up in was discussing. They are not an honest shop. Go somewhere else and save your money.

As always I get such a great and professional service at Ted Wiens at the Fort Apache and Flamingo location. My car was making an interesting noise lately when I turned it on. I took it over to have it inspected. Kyle run the test and need it a new battery. I am so glad I can trust them and got my car back running just in time for the long weekend ahead. Complete scam. They charged $200 for "diagnostics" and didn't even provide a single code to help diagnose the issue. This my first time there and was a test to see if their diagnostics tools are better than others. I would have gotten more information from going to AutoZone using their free tools. At least I know where not to go.

I walked in to get all 4 tires replaced and was greeted almost instantly, and a few moments later I was talking to a representative. Very friendly and professional, told me it would probably be 2 hours because they had a few cars in the bay, and 45 minutes later my car was done. Everything looked great and rode fantastic as the old tires were bald as can be, went with the Continental extreme contacts and couldn't be happier. Thank you for a great experience, will definitely be a repeat customer.

I had a terrible experience at TedWiens (4055 S Ft Apache location) that has now turned into a much bigger and more expensive problem. On November 28, 2025, I brought my car in for a simple flat tire repair. I was told it would take 30 minutes, but I ended up waiting an hour with no update. After the long wait, they told me the tire couldn’t be fixed and needed to be replaced—even though it still had plenty of tread left. To make things worse, the technician almost put the flat tire back onto my car instead of the spare. I had to stop him and ask him to switch it. The next day, I went to Discount Tire, where I originally bought the tire. They informed me that someone had used a non-approved plug on the tire, making it permanently irreparable. On top of that, the tire model is discontinued. Since I have a four-wheel drive vehicle, I now either have to find this exact tire somewhere else or replace all four tires—an extremely costly situation. All of this stems directly from Tedwiens’ handling of the tire. Because of their actions, I’m now facing a major and unnecessary expense. I do NOT recommend this place based on my experience.

When it comes to car mechanics, I know I have to change the oil every 5,000 miles and rotate the tires too. 🚗 I know nothing about internal combustion engines. So that's why I take my vehicles to Ted Wiens. 🚙 I discovered them when I wanted to put nitrogen in my tires to help weather the hot Las Vegas summers. 🌡️ At the time they were one of the few places ✨that could do that. Now they do everything on my car because they are much more cost-effective than the dealers. (I have both a Ford and a Honda.) I book an appointment. I know how long I'm going to be there before I go. I typically wait. I love the fact they have a "desk" area with FREE wi-fi. I can bring my laptop and get to work. 🪑 But if I want to read, I love the super comfy leather armchairs. 💺 Either option makes the wait go fast. I have found they have competitive prices on all the tires I have purchased, including the new snow-rated all-terrain tires I am getting in these photos so I can drive up to Aspen 🏔️ in the snow to check out my rentals. I get all my oil changes and routine maintenance (60k for instance) here. The mechanics seem knowledgeable. All are ASE rated. I have never had a problem with their work on anything. ✅ The front desk people could work on the Strip. They are charming, personable ... and know cars. They have great bedside manner because if you have an older vehicle--I buy mine new and drive them until a cylinder burns in the engine or the transmission starts slipping--they often have bad news. 😪 I feel they are honest and wouldn't cheat me. This is important since I know nothing about cars! Hey, I had a baby before I had a driver's license since I grew up in Chicago and then lived in Manhattan. I was a subway girl! 🚇 This store is bigger than my old haunt on Eastern. But the service is stellar at both.

Every time I bring my car up here they “fix” the issue and a new issue arises within weeks. I’ve spent almost $5000 at this place in the past year. They just replaced the head- and I noticed some water or coolant leaking. I took it up to get it looked at and they tell me the entire oil housing is cracked and I’m leaking oil. I checked myself and there is no oil leak at all. They are trying to charge me $1600+ for an oil housing replacement but the dealership says they don’t see anything cracked. This place lies like crazy and doesn’t listen to you even with photographs when you show it to them 😂 Stay far away from this location. GMC dealership out here said this isn’t the first time they’ve heard of this kind of practice at this Ted Wiens location.
