I was quoted close to $7000 in Wisconsin, but she got my quote down to $3500, and then even lower just to get me on the road since I was out of pocket. She worked with me, and when I needed an alignment, she found a shop and scheduled for me so I didn’t even have to do anything. She is AMAZING and deserves all the accolades and more!!!!

Literally the best experience I've ever had getting a car repaired - The Body Works in St. Pete is a cut above the rest. Mel and Jamie have built an established family-run business that succeeds in all areas of service. I brought in my 2008 Corolla with front end damage and Mel estimated the repair quickly and efficiently on the spot. The price and terms were beyond fair. With a deal in place, Jamie worked with my insurance company to ensure the payment was turned around in two days. I scheduled the drop off for Monday and - as promised - they delivered a completely repaired and painted car on Friday afternoon. The pictures speak volumes!! Mel told me at the estimate: "I'll make this car look better than before." The Body Works delivered! The paint is flawless and the new headlights look great. Mel and his team do NOT cut corners! Everyplace should run this smoothly.

I have nothing but good things to say about this shop. They were able to work around my schedule and get me in and out during the small window of time I had before the holidays. They initially estimated a turn around time of 5 days, and got it done in nearly three, communicating and keeping me in the loop the entire time. Pricing was very fair, I went to three shops total for estimates and their estimate was completely in line with the others. The quality of the work is second to none. Mel told me he's been doing paint and auto body for 40 years, and that experience really shows. I had a dent in a hard to fix area, and Mel and his team got it back to looking brand new. The panel work is perfect and the color is matched even down to the metallic flake in the paint. Easy 5/5 experience, Mel, Jamie, and the team are amazing.

Superb auto repair. Elite customer service. High integrity individuals. Jamie and Mel were nothing short of amazing. I had extensive damage to my Tesla from a hit and Mel was able to make the car look brand new and in an expedited amount of time. If I had gone anywhere else, it would’ve taken weeks to get repaired. Jamie was so communicative with me during the process, and so kind and understanding with my repetitive phone calls back to her. Mel and his team did insane work to repair my car and were amazing in working with Tesla to figure everything out and get it good to go. I would recommend them to anyone needing any sort of car repair or autobody assistance. There’s so much more I could write, but needless to say I will continue to rely on them for future auto needs and truly thank them endlessly for the help and the quality repair they did for me. So me and my brother came to body works to get our bumper and rear hatch paint matched with mel.. we seen all the good reviews and all and he quoted us $1500 to do the job for us and it was a bit steep for us since it was just the bumper and rear hatch but we just said let's do it cause we were thinking he was gonna do a good job.... we ended up paying him $1500 to do the paint match and a few days later he said its all done and ready for pick up... we get to his shop and thats how it looked. It looked completely off and it did not paint match at all us thinking he wants his customers happy and to come back to do buisness in the future I thought he was gonna re do it for us to make it look how it should and actually paint match it but no... we had to pay him $500 more to re paint it and make it look paint matched this time.... we gave him the extra $500 and the picture infront of my house is how it ended up looking. He was telling us its not about the money he wants us to be happy but we clearly weren't happy. After we came to pick the car up we just asked him to put the car in the sun just to see it better and he starting having a attitude with me and my brother being aggressive opening the door but if he actually cared about his customers he would of actually made it right and paint matched it like he should of in the first place when we gave him $1500!!! At the end of the day I will never be coming back here after spending all my hard earned money thinking he was gonna make the car look good and paint match it but no he did the complete opposite. I would not recommend this guy to anyone anymore the way he did us and treated us. $2000 in the hole i just wish I could of took it to a real paint shop that actually paint matches and dosent charge $2000 instead of coming here!

I had an awesome experience with The BodyWorks. I brought in my 2013 Honda Civic Sedan because the plastic bumpers had been painted incorrectly by a previous shop and the clear coat was starting to flake pretty badly. Mel personally came out to look at the car and gave me honest, straightforward advice. Instead of trying to strip and repaint the bumpers I had, he recommended going with two original OEM bumpers. He explained that it would actually be more economical and a better long-term solution; he was absolutely right. The new OEM bumpers look fantastic. The color match is spot on, the finish is clean and smooth, and the whole car looks refreshed. You can tell they care about doing the job the right way, not just the expensive way. It’s rare to find a shop that prioritizes honesty and quality like this. Highly recommend The BodyWorks. Shoutout to Mel and his team for running a solid, trustworthy operation.

Where do I even begin, Mel and his team turned my stock body skyline into my dream build. He painted and installed a full bodykit (front & rear bumpers, both side skirts). Mel and his team are amazing, they debadged, repaired dents, removed rust, and custom removed my trunk keyhole, and repainted the entire trunk for my skyline for a great price.
