1. Order took much longer than anticipated to be delivered. 2. Selected and paid for delivery AND assembly. 3. When order finally arrived, it was dropped on a pallet in the driveway. Not assembled like we had paid for. 4. Called and called the delivery company. No response. Company finally came back and assembled the table and chairs. Asked that it be assembled under our gazebo. 5. After assembly, I arrived home to find out that the set was not assembled under the gazebo, but on the other side of the yard, on top of a brand new rug, damaging it. 6. The company lied and said the company used moving blankets and didn’t assemble on top of the rug…we have Ring doorbell videos showing otherwise. 7. In addition to the rug being damaged, the top of the table was dented and marked in several different spots. 8. The Great Escape ordered a new top for the table to be delivered. Top gets delivered…and it’s also damaged so they take it back. 9. The Great Escape ordered ANOTHER top to be delivered. Top gets delivered…and it’s the WRONG ONE! 10. We are now MONTHS past when we ordered this. We paid for a service that was not received. Communication has been awful from the start and I wish we never purchased anything from this company. Don’t waste your time.

After years of paying a premium here, I finally needed a basic warranty claim on a Goalrilla basketball hoop. That’s when it became clear the pricing reflects confidence, not competence. The process is a masterclass in inefficiency: multiple departments, excessive paperwork, and a warranty that appears designed to be referenced rather than honored. Ironically, purchasing the replacement part outright would require less effort than using the coverage I supposedly paid for. Consider this a public service announcement: you will pay more here, and you should expect nothing extra in return. Read the fine print carefully — the service certainly has.
