Super satisfied with the work Erik did - thank you! You can tell he understands the value of your vehicle and treats it as such. Timely communication and excellent prices. I'll for sure be a return customer!

Long story short Eric was absolutely awesome and accommodating to getting the gears done in my Tacoma under a tight timeline. He answered every question with a lot of knowledge and you can tell takes great pride in his work. Would highly recommend this shop and will continue to go to him for all my work going forward.

Erik has done a few Jeep upgrades for us. He always does great work, is super responsive and gives a fair price. Thanks for getting our Jeep ready to go play in Moab!

Erik is the man! Knows his stuff, gives sensible advice, won't try to sell you what you don't need. Does quality work, finishes on time, charges fairly. He did a 3" lift, steering damper, and bumper/slider install on my '94 XJ; looks great, works great. He's in demand, but worth waiting for an appt and driving a bit further to have it done right.

I meant to do this review a long time ago, but late is better than never I suppose. I brought my Tacoma to this shop a while back for a cab mount chop, and it was done perfectly! Beautiful welds, fantastic paint job with no rust a year later. Zero tire rubbing on the cab mount now, and tons of room to spare. All done for a reasonable price and super fast turnaround time! I highly recommend this shop for anyone looking for fabrication on their off-road vehicle!

The OFFROAD SHOP is the best off-road vehicle shop in the PNW. Period. Erik has done 3 sperate services on my 3rd gen Tacoma and all have been flawless. The prices are great, but the service is really what set this shop apart. Every time i talk to him, he knows exactly what he is talking about and is always a pleasure to talk to. Treats your vehicle as if it was his own. I can not say enough good things about this shop and the work Erik does. Anytime my friends say they need car work done after we go wheelin, my response is "I've got a guy".... 10/10 stars. P.S. If you have a 3rd gen manual Tacoma and your reading this, ask him to do the accumulator delete for you. Best money you'll ever spend.

I've had Eric install lift kits on two of my XJs. One included a new SYE and drive line. He did good work and on time as scheduled. The SYE had a minor leak about two weeks after it was installed. I called Eric about and her resolved the issue quickly. I would definitely come back with future projects.

I was having a struggle finding a mechanic that could tell me what was causing some popping and droning sounds from my suspension and drive train. I called The Offroad Shop and spoke to Erik. He offered to take a quick look if I drove out there. He threw my rig on the lift and immediately pointed out a couple of things that were likely the culprit. He was right on the money as to what ended up being the issues. I ended up having to get my car repaired in a pinch for travel, so went a closer/faster route. That said, from his reviews and from my experience, he gets my five stars no doubt.

Gave them a quick phone call and they put me on the scheduled. Brought them a lifted 2020 jeep rubicon. Diagnosed the steering problems, replaced the necessary parts, and had the vehicle back earlier than expected on the same day! This is a local shop that knows what they are doing! 10/10 would recommend!

Erik is great to work with. He installed new gears, shocks, front and rear LSD and a big brake kit on my 2014 JKU, and I couldn't be happier with the results. He will get my business for any future Jeep work and I highly recommend his shop. A great experience all around. Nov. 2022 update - I've been back to Erik with my jeep on a few occasions since my first review a few years ago. Ball joints etc. this time around. The quality and value of his work and experience remain the same. No hesitation to recommend.

Erik not only specializes in automotive service, but he also specializes in excellent customer service. I'm Deaf, so I have dealt with my fair share of people who can be rude, impatient, and flat out disrespectful. Not Erik. Erik takes the time to listen to your concerns, and addresses them appropriately. With Erik, you feel like he values your business and has an awareness of how he deals with people can result in more return business. It is a rare quality that Erik possesses. Erik installed Carli coils, Carli shocks, Carli end-links, and Carli rear leaf add-a-packs on my 2008 Dodge ram 2500 Megacab Diesel. All of this leveled my truck 3". During his work on my truck, Erik found an improperly seated upper passenger ball joint, and promptly informed me along with a picture sent to me via email. Because of the excellent work he did in leveling my truck, I have my truck back to Erik to fix the improperly seated ball joint in my truck this week. I honestly cannot recommend Erik enough, especially for any Deaf people in the Deaf community that may need work done on their 4x4s. From now on, Erik will be my go-to guy for my truck. Thanks Erik!

Erik is a pleasure to work with and quickly resolved several suspension issues with my 98 Jeep XJ. It drives so much better now! Easily the quickest I've had that Jeep in/out of a shop and with quality repairs done. Highly recommend!

Top notch. Wish I could give Erik more than 5 stars. After searching high and low for a solid 4x4 shop I took my '00 XJ to him and he installed a pile of parts I had collected. UCAs, ball joints, tie rod ends, U-joints, coil pack etc. He's the first mechanic I've trusted to work on a vehicle I own. He did such a good job and his prices were so fair I took it back to him and had him do a full exhaust system. Header back plus all 5 O2 sensors and though those 20 y/o rusted manifold bolts had to give him trouble, he still had it done and done right the very next morning so I threw a third project at him. This time for posi, SYE, new driveshafts and axle bearings and I had a specific timeline I needed it by. Once again Erik knocked it out of the park. I could not be happier. This is a solid locally owned small business that we off-road enthusiasts should definitely be supporting. And for y'all who have questions on what he can and can't do on your rig, give him a call, send him an email, I bet he can. He seems to really enjoy what he does and I doubt he says no very often. I'll be taking my XJ back for sure but I'd also trust sending my dad here for work on his diesel Dodge 4x4 and I'd even send him my moms Honda Accord if he wanted to work on it. Great prices, great work and Erik is one of the nicest folks you'll meet.

Erik did a great job on my 68 Scout. I took it out to him to discuss some potential projects after reading all of the raving reviews. He said he would do some online investigation and get back to me. A few days later he emailed me and proposed disc brakes and new suspension (including a slight lift). I agreed and dropped it off. At drop off we also discussed installing some seat belts for the back seat as well better securing the passenger seat. I bring these two things up because he had to design/make custom brackets for both. Not only is his work top notch, he's a good dude that will spend your money wisely and deliver quality work like it his own rig. I went to The Offroad Shop because of the amazing google reviews. You should too and you will not be disappointed.

Erik installed new struts and lift springs on my Subaru for me. He was really quick, did great work and gave a very fair price! And beyond that he was great to communicate with and just had an awesome attitude that made me feel confident about the work he did on my car. Wouldn’t have rather brought it anywhere else. Thanks Erik!

Great customer service. Reasonable pricing. Erik installed a 2" lift on my Jeep to help fit larger tires. Nice to be able to support a small locally owned business. Planning on returning for more repairs.

Has worked on my 2019 Tacoma before and I’ve been back with more because I trust this shop 110%! Recently installed my King 2.5” Shocks up front and I’m loving them! I called many other shops to get quotes from how much they’ll charge and the only shop who was actually reasonable was The Offroad Shop. Such great price for installation and top quality service. Truck was done in a few hours and I was thrilled with the outcome. If you’re looking for a shop to get your offroad needs complete, this is the place to go.!

I purchased a lifted TJ this summer and the manual shifter shook in first gear. I took it to The Off-road Shop and met Eric who knew what to do. He installed an Adam’s slip yoke eliminator and it drives perfectly now. Eric is a great guy, very personable and knowledgeable. I researched the “Adam’s” unit he installed and it’s of great quality. He didn’t skimp out. The price was fair and it’s fun to look around his shop which is close to Powell Butte. I couldn’t be happier. If you’ve got an off road vehicle go see Eric, not a dealership!
