The staff on this place made a mistake and left their scope tool on my windshield and they closed it and cracked my windshield with a small crack I am 100% I drove the car prior to the inspection and the windshield was not cracked Staff was very difficult to deal with and threatened me on calling the police. Not Even a fix for the crack or a refund or the service. I believe the place does good the inspections but terrible way to fix a issue with a customer. I called I wanted their proof on the cameras that was not their mistake but they never cared to show me or fix the front windshield they broke

What an honorable business. DMV told me I had to have a new smog check done due to change of ownership of the vehicle, even though one was done 30 days ago. Instead of just taking my money, they showed me where the previously completed check was still valid and suggested I return to DMV. Thank you for your honesty, integrity, and saving me money in this difficult economy. You will forever have my business.

I do not recommend this place, they are not professionals, they charged me 60 dlls then they put the computer, and I just had to run my truck because I changed the battery, I came back later and they told me that I was a censor and they wanted to charge me again. My friend recommended Quick smog and the person the first thing he chek my truck, and he told me to run your truck 50 miles I did not charge anything, I run it and I spent in 5 minutes and past, total it was 50 dlls already past...100% recommended.

Been bringing all of our fleet vehicles here and never had a problem. This last visit I asked about the coupon on their website and the guy started berating me telling me that everyone prints it and it states it clearly on the site. I told him it was fine and to just charge the regular price but he kept going on and on about how I should read better and how everyone else reads the site. It got to the point that I couldn't take him saying the same thing over and over so I grabbed the keys from him and left. Google then recommended Fairfield Quick Smog and their price without any coupon was the same as The Smog King with a coupon and they did just as good/quick of a job as The Smog King used to do. They've lost a long time customer because of an employee's overbearing attitude.

So second time here. Both times i was in and out within 45 minutes which isn't too bad. The gentlemen were courteous and well spoken. The first time i came here it basically cost less than $60 and they had it posted no charge if you fail. The second time i went they nearly doubled the price into the triple digits and you pay 94 for failing and it would be 114 for passing (rounded off to the nearest dollar). Why the upcharge?

If you have a catalytic converter that was replaced, this might not be the shop for you. Took 3 vehicles here to get smogged twice now since 2023. All was fine in 2023, but this time my van failed smog. Everything passed except for the visual inspection on the catalytic converter because they couldn’t read the EO number, even though this same catalytic converter they passed in 2023. Not only did they fail my van, they put “TAMPERED” as the reason so another smog shop told me they couldn’t touch it since they put tampered and that I would have to take it to a smog repair shop. I wish they would’ve just put “Failed” so I could’ve taken it elsewhere. I had all the paperwork for the job to show it was a CARB complaint CAT as well so no reason to put “tampered”. Not sure if they didn’t have the time or maybe the equipment since the repair shop said if they wouldn’t be able to find it with the tools, they would have to lift it. Long story short, they are great people, but this might not be the shop for you if they have to find the EO number on a replaced catalytic converter and spend extra time or lift your car. Thankful for their efforts with my other vehicles.

They the only smog place open on Sundays. Other then that!!! I will go some place else!!! Everytime you go here they want your money 💯💯 and then fail you. Then you go some place else and they pass you. They are not The Smog King at all. No lie 🤥🤥🤥

It was busy when I arrived. They got me checked in and out in what seemed like 30 minutes. Maybe sooner. Amazing. Next door I was able to register my car and received my tags. Lol The whole thing combined took less than an hour. I'll be back.
