I moved to Olympia about a year and a half ago. I have not had my truck cleaned out since moving up here. Between the dogs, dirt, and weather, it was a mess. I randomly chose Thompsons Auto detailing to clean it. Wow! They are amazing!! They quoted me a fair price and also called to ask if I would like some extra things taken care of, like mold😳 and dingy headlights. Yes, please!! They sent pictures to show me the problems. The guys at Thompson's did a great job adding the ceramic coating. The car was basically fresh off the showroom so did not need too much paint correction but after they were done the finish really popped. They also managed to get whatever dealer-applied coating off the glass so now I don't have massive streaking whenever I use the wipers.

I cannot say enough good things about this detailing shop. They took on a car with severe (probably an understatement) mold and still treated it with care, professionalism, and zero judgment. They worked incredibly hard and did an amazing job given how bad the situation was. Unfortunately, the car was later deemed a total loss due to the extent of the mold infestation — no fault of theirs whatsoever. If anything, it speaks to just how bad the mold was and how impressive their effort and results were under those circumstances. They were communicative, honest, and clearly take pride in their work. I would absolutely recommend them and fully plan on using them again in the future for all of my car cleaning and detailing needs. Truly grateful for their help during a stressful situation!

I brought my car to Thompsons based off the great reviews when i was in dire need of a detail including mold mitigation due to it being cared for poorly while at a shop for repairs. I recieved a call that not only was there mold but there were obvious signs and smell of rats. I was offered the additional service of dealing with the rats nest and feces for an extra cost of $400 on top of the $590 i was quoted for detail and mold mitigation. At that time i decided to hold off on the detail to ensure the water leak that had caused the initial issue was fixed and/or i opted to replace the car as its 11 years old. Upon pickup i looked in the engine bay where the person who called mentioned there was a rats nest, as well as the entire interior, trunk, and spare tire well. I have owned multiple pet rats and found no signs of a rat family living in my car. I was told there was a nest, a trail with feces and obvious smell. I am well aware of what all of these things look/smell like and there was none of this in my vehicle. I was warned they may find a dead rat and were happy to manage it for an extra $400. The employees who helped me when I picked it up seemed unsure and of where the rats nest and trail were seen. They said the person who found it was gone for the day. I asked to have them call me and let me know where it was found. That was over a week ago (maybe two) and I have yet to recieve a call. That makes the whole situation feel like I was being lied to and taken advantage of during a stressful time. My fiancé and i both thoroughly looked over the car and still found no signs of rats. We were able to find someone else to do our detail and mold mitigation as I didnt feel i coukd tust Thompsons anymore. I am a bit shocked at my experience based on the great reviews I've read, but felt the need to share based on the somewhat shady experience I had.

Very grateful for this company’s mobile car detailing service. It was easy to schedule, spoke with someone directly who was friendly and accommodating. It was affordable for the amount of labor involved. My technician arrived at my home 7 minutes before my appointment time, which I appreciated. He detailed inside and out, steam cleaned the seats. I had a mixed experience overall. The guys were very nice and friendly, and I truly appreciate the effort they put in. I had my fabric seats cleaned, and after the initial service there were some noticeable water marks, so I did need to bring the car back. I was originally told the appointment would take about two hours, but when I returned they needed to keep it overnight to ensure everything dried properly. I just wish that had been done the first time to avoid a second trip. There was also some inconsistency with pricing — I was quoted $199, received an invoice for $105, and then was told $199 again at pickup. The drop-off and pickup process also felt a bit informal. When I arrived, there wasn’t anyone available to greet or check me in, and I walked directly into the shop area where everyone was working, which felt a little awkward and unclear. I hope this feedback is helpful, as clear communication and a more structured process would really elevate the overall experience. I genuinely wish them the best moving forward.

After three months of using my black Explorer to move things from a hoarder house it was in need of a serious cleaning. I discovered Thompson’s from a Facebook ad and reached out to Dylan for pricing. After that initial call I was hesitant to move forward due to the expense making my car look new again. By the time I was done clearing the hoarder house I was ready. I opted for the full service package that included the two coat ceramic coating. Man, does my Explorer shine! Many thanks and much appreciation goes out to Estefen for working his magic making it stand out like the day we brought it home. I do have one suggestion to make regarding picking up your vehicle. There was no direction once we entered the building as to how you go about paying. Ty was there that day but went somewhere to take a phone call which left us just hanging there. It was interesting to me that when Ty reappeared he turned the transaction over to the detailer (Estefen) who had been hard at work on another vehicle. This was a minor inconvenience but maybe you might want to let your customers know who to talk to in order to pay and pick up your car. I regularly hike and camp with my four dogs, so lots of fine dusty dirt and even more dog hair in my minivan. After 6 years and 140k miles I decided the van was in desperate need of it's first deep clean, plus a recent repair had required me to disassemble my kennel/camping/storage setup. I've attempted to clean it out before myself, but vacuuming could only get out so much hair and dirt, and scrubbing could barely make a dent in the trim. Over the course of a few hours, the Thompsons techs that came to my house have made my dirty, hairy van into looking like it's fresh off the dealership lot again. It was beyond convenient (they came right to my driveway!), absolutely affordable (just over $500 for 6 hours of cleaning), and so worth it. My biggest regret is not doing it sooner, and more frequently (and not taking before pictures!).
