Have used Voorhess twice in the last month for my daughter's vehicle, while she is away at college. Really appreciate having a trustworthy, fair priced, reliable mechanic to take care of her car. I'm really particular about it as I typically do all repairs myself. Very easy to set up appointments, car is ready when they tell you it will be and running great. Prices are very fair.

My brakes were in pretty bad shape before I brought them to the shop. I just have to say new brakes make a world of difference. I am in heaven now driving my car. Tim got me right in and I couldn't be happier with the service. Everyone there is super nice and greeted me with a friendly face and also a cute dog! First, it's not just any business. As a on as you walk in your welcomed and then greater by the sweetest, best behaved pups in town. As a woman going to a mechanic is always a turn on a roulette wheel. But this team, from the owner to the last mechanic make me feel sure that I'm not getting taken and the work is excellent. We bring both cars here and will continue to do so. Great shop!!!

I had a real time crunch - it was Friday at 8am and I left for vacation Sunday. I had brought my car to two other mechanics that week and both gave me different answers for things my car needed to have before my trip. Voorhees was booked solid but still made time for me by 8:45 am - a first time customer - to give a third opinion that settled the debate. I plan to come back when I can actually schedule an appointment! While I waited, the three dogs were very nice, quiet and friendly as well.

I'm old and blonde (double whammy), blunt of jokes all true and have had many good (some not so good) mechanics with fair prices, but at Tim Voorhees they go above and beyond! My vehicle has always been quickly and accurately diagnosed and repaired for as minimal cost possible. The family and crew provide a kind, happy, family friendly environment. They have the sweetest and best behaved dogs that keep you company and can be quite entertaining as you wait for your vehicle to be repaired. This business is trustworthy, honest, caring, and many times I've just shown up unannounced for help with things as simple as replacing my registration sticker, and my mechanic family gladly fits me in and helps me, free of charge, never making me feel bad for being so needy. Lol. I've known this business for several years now and am glad I have a mechanic I can call my home! No more shop hopping for me!

Just called to ask why my car was making new squeaking/grinding noises after just having a control arm replaced there. Was quickly told it must be a new problem. When I discussed several other things, I was immediately dismissed and rudely told "Well, I'm not gonna argue with you about it" and was asked if I wanted to keep my next appointment or not. I chose not. Another previous appointment I dropped my car off the night before, wrote all info on the drop box envelope - which included instructions not to exceed 1k on the repair (heater core). Came in the next day to find a 1300 dollar bill waiting for me. When I told him I had written not to exceed 1k, he told me no, I didn't and the envelope was thrown away so he couldn't check. Uh huh. Don't waste your time, I've been going there for years and was surprised how rudely I was treated the first time I tried to argue a point. Nice to your face until you stand up for yourself. Also, the last time I got it fixed, he never communicated with me, just my father - who was paying for it. The car is MINE. Never even got a phone call to tell me MY car was done. He told my father, though.

They went through a lot of trouble to find the issue and fixed it quite fast and at a reasonable price! They are always very friendly and willing to answer any questions. Highly recommended!

I am extremely disappointed with the service provided by this establishment. Over the course of multiple visits for routine jobs, including oil changes on three different vehicles, I’ve consistently encountered mistakes, unprofessional conduct, and a complete lack of accountability. For example, during a routine oil change on my Mercedes, the car began smoking within minutes of leaving the shop due to oil spilled all over the engine—a spotless engine that had just passed inspection and diagnostic during the same visit. This required immediate relocation to another shop. Despite the obvious error, the shop refused to take responsibility. Another vehicle, a Hummer, has been brought in repeatedly for work, only to have incomplete jobs that require additional visits and charges. On one occasion, I was charged over $1,600 for work that was left unfinished, with parts left inside the car. Additionally, I’ve experienced damage to other parts of my vehicles, such as the door panel, which were broken during visits and never repaired. The lack of professionalism from the staff, including raised voices and inappropriate language when questioned, is deeply concerning. It is disappointing to see such disregard for customer care and quality workmanship. I cannot recommend this business to others and strongly urge caution to anyone considering their services. Update: After noticing my Hummer was leaking fluid still even after the repairs, I called the shop to inform them on how now this vehicle will be brought to the dealership for a diagnosis, I received a full refund of the $1600+.
