I want to start off by saying I wanted to save a few bucks so I decided to go to a place or shop that is that I wouldn't normally take my vehicle too. From the start this place look like it was in utter chaos when I spoke to the owner you look terrible like he was awake for a week.... When they did the repairs in my vehicle 2 days later than they said it would be finished and when it came time to pay give me a totally different price I told him no no no we had agreed on this and looking confused and awake forever he continued to argue with me over $40...I don't suggest anybody take your vehicle here this place has a shady as you can get the mechanics look like tweakers it's just not a good idea take yourself somewhere they're responsible and we'll do things correctly

Eric - the owner of tip top a took my car in for service oct 5. It needed updated sensors and a smog test. I asked him for updates and he blew me off and only responded every week or so. I started to stress about the status and lack of communication. He then advised he was going to drop it off on November 11. I reached out several times with no response. I found a letter from Geico advising my car was in an accident. He did not even tell me!! I had to reach out to him with paperwork and he finally let me know his employee ran into another car. He was handling the lawsuit with his insurance and would take care of everything. The next few months I had insurance companies that I redirected to him, some response but he was monthly silent. I was begging to have my car back and he advised he was still working on it. In February I let him know that I would be filing it as stolen and reaching out to the cops. He finally responded and let me know that it was done but wasn’t perfect and needed another few weeks. I said okay. I’m this time he had it towed. From his house!! I believe he may be using it or letting someone else use it. I am not sure because he hasn’t responded to me on getting it back and had blocked me. I will be filing police reports. Unfortunately I trusted Eric and now I don’t know what to do. He was in an accident a year ago and while he wa sin an accident his brother - who also works there - took my bf car and drive it for weeks. He tore it up. It needed new brakes, tires and he spilt something on the leather. I should have known better but I trusted Eric since he had worked on my car before.

We had a flat tire on the highway with no spare at 10:00pm. We were lucky tip top tire was open. He took care of us in 10 minutes, without waking up my kids and all for less than the price of a haircut. He turned a real emergency situation into a no stress repair. We were back on the road in no time. A real life saver.

Unreliable - you get a flat at night: go ANYWHERE ELSE. What is the point of advertising that you are open until midnight if you are gone at 8pm? This place is unreliable. Looked everywhere for a tire shop open at 8pm and "thank goodness" he was open because ihad a tire leaking air from a nail. Called this person who thankfully answered. He was on an errand and would be back at his shop in a couple of months minutes. He NEVER showed up and did not answer our calls after waiting for over an hour at this place Had to drive on a leaking tire for absolutely nothing. If you want the worst service then yes come here!

Where do I begin. This business has saved our butts on several occasions. We've had incidents at night. We thought we were out of luck because of the time. These guys came in clutch! My experience started at the 711 gas station down the street from this auto shop. I had a flat and was trying to put air when a gentleman asked if i needed help. I was so grateful he did because he worked at this fine Auto shop. He called his Boss and they came to repair my tire. I can’t speak highly enough about this business! I popped a tire on the freeway and Eric NOT ONLY came all the way out and changed my tire for a spare, but he went all the way to Compton to get me the right sized tire and came back and switched it again!😭🫶🏼 What a king, he literally saved me from having to spend $500 on a tow truck. God bless this man! 100 Stars!!
