I ordered tires from Amazon that were to be delivered to the Tire Choice Auto Service Center at 588 W. Waterloo Rd Akron, OH 44314. I recieved confirmation that the tires were delivered by UPS on 1/29/2024 @ 12:25pm. My appointment for the install was 2/1/2024 between 4p and 5p. I arrived at the location 588 W. Waterloo Rd Akron, OH 44314. And was told they did not have the tires. The manager stated he just took over this position. I showed him the confirmation that the tires were in fact delivered to the specific location. I called them on 2/2 to follow up on the process of finding the missing tires. I was told the manager put a call to Amazon and was waiting for a call back. He said once he got the call back he would call us. I looked up the tracking number and found that the tires were delivered and were signed for by a Calhoun. I called back and told the manager that I see on the confirmation they were recieved by Calhoun. He put me on a brief hold. He came back and said that Calhoun had quit that same day. I asked if they have cameras. He stated no!! I asked how we proceed. He said he is now waiting for the regional manager to get back to him. Still to this day have heard nothing back from store manager 6 days later so I am in contact with corporate office, I've filed a complaint!! Trust me their def not in a hurry to handle this situation! NEVER USE MONRO (NOW TIRE CHOICE ) on W. Waterloo rd

1 star for bad customer service. I made an apmt in store for a wheel alignment and 2 new tires plus an oil change. They quoted $640, that was with discounts. Since I work night shift I had a friend drop it off and pick it up. When my car was picked up they informed them they couldn’t do the alignment I had to go to the dealership but they put 2 new tires on and did the oil change for $540. When I called in the next morning to get an explanation on why they did that, what I’m supposed to do now, and why wouldn’t they call and ask before they put new tires on a bad alignment the worker tried to give me the run around— “I wasn’t here yesterday…” I asked him to look into it. He says JESUS CHRIST and slams the phone. After being on hold for 7 min, it started ringing and he had transferred me to the canton store which they happily took care of me. I will never go to this place again despite them being around the corner from my house.

I would give 10 stars if I could. Kris the store manager went out of his way to get my tires installed after a mishap in shipping. He kept me informed as to when deliverery had occurred and had my tires installed within hours after the finial tire showed up. Not many people let alone managers would go the extra step to help a customer out this way. Many thanks to Kris.

Jackson & Gavin were knowledgable, friendly and dedicated to solving my issue, despite being confronted with several obstacles! My Hertz rental had a flat tire and so I rolled up on my ‘donut’ spare hoping I could get a new tire fitted quickly. The sign-off process with Hertz was long and tedious, but the guys persevered and kept pushing until we got there… in the end! Thanks, again, guys!

I ditched the dealership and started coming here. Vince the manager was a one man band all summer this year. He was literally the only person running this garage for probably 2 months, and staying open until the job was done, even if it was after closing time. That being said, as busy as he was, he still took the time to call me back and thank me for using their service and offered a quote on another service I inquired about while I was there. He is always very personable and helpful and honest when I come in. This guy deserves a raise! I’m not kidding! Prices are very fair and I will always recommend Tire Choice Waterloo, and keep coming back for sure!

This place...... in June I came in for an alignment since I got new tie rods installed on my SUV.. After the service I noticed I still had pull and had to come back for them to actually put my vehicle on the machine and do it properly. Now in September I bought the oil change coupon on Groupon.. I went in and none of their lifts were working so I opted out for everything but the actual oil change.. they had to run down to autozon to get an oil pan because again, none of their lifts were working. After the oil change I noticed my gas pedal was gone, like you hit the gas and my vehicle had minimal power to where I had to floor my truck to get it up to speed.. I've had this vehicle for 5 years so over the years it's had many oil changes and NEVER have they had my truck like is.. What it boils down to is they either used the wrong weight or to much oil... Two bad experiences is enough for me... They don't stay busy for a reason and this is probably why.. STAY AWAY!!!!! Went to valvoline with my Groupon and had a wonderful service and guess what?!?! My truck is running normal again. They need to shut this place down. Most of their good reviews are from family and friends. Trust the bad reviews from normal people not related to the folks in this shop.

DO NOT Have this garage work on your car if you value your life!!!! They " fixed" a control arm on my car. A day later the wheel fell off. Apparently they used a house hold bolt to put it on and it snapped and the tire came right off as I was driving my baby in the car!!! DO NOT have them work on your vehicle!!!

Do not go here. I spent nearly $400 for 2 Goodyear Assurance tires and they couldn't balance them correctly. When I returned the next day a "manager" said he was alone and was not allowed to rebalance them. There was no other employees there. I finally went somewhere else and paid to have it fixed correctly.

I’ve been very patient about make this review in hopes someone would reach out to me or my husband to make things right, I was told our issue would be sent to corporate and they would reach out to us. It’s been months and nothing. In November my husband took his truck to get an air leak fixed in his tire, he ended up just getting all new tires which was fine with us. After the truck was finished he picked it up and was told “the tires will sound different because they need to break in” that wasn’t the case. I drove his truck the next morning to take my children to school and the sound progressively got worse to the point where the truck was shaking. I took his truck to state street tires and they found 12 loose lug nuts, the front left tire was so bad that they had to jack the truck up in the parking lot and fix it right there because it almost popped off. The truck wasn’t even drove 30 miles after getting new tires put on it before this happened. This seems more like negligence. No one seems to have answers to how this happened, or even seem to care about fixing what happened. I’m very Thankful my children and I are safe because that could have ended badly.

Mike is the manager where I went. I had bought new tires for two vehicles there before. Had my brakes done there as well. I had a flat tire. I have a warranty on tires whenever I buy them new. The paperwork logged into their system was not put in correctly or something like that, but Mike solved the problem. Got me a new tire, cause the flat couldn’t be fixed. They also gave my vehicle an all around inspection for free. I drive for extra money from time to time. Was going to need an auto inspection anyways, if I decide to drive passengers. Cost range, but probably around a $100 these days, so saved that money too. Mike’s a Vet too, and it shows. They treated me well. Probably treat you the same. Have a Blessed 😇 Day

Gavin and Jackson reason out did themselves. As soon as I walked in, they showed me respect and outstanding customer service they were able to put on a show for my two-year-old to keep her distracted while they worked on my brakes and rotors for my Chevy Malibu. I really appreciate them coming out here and working at this location even though it’s not the original car shop. Thank you for servicing the Akron community. We appreciate you.
