I tangled with the curb and blue out two tires. The tow truck driver suggested I come here. At 6pm, Mike had two men waiting for me and my tires in stock. The fixed me up and the cost was as expected. I went back the next day for an alignment and low pressure sensors. Good service and reasonable pricing.

Took my car here for a tire replacement. That part went fine. Got back in my car, noticed the switch for my windshield wiper was snapped. Like the guy who got in was high and tried to use it to put the car in gear. They of course denied anything having to do with it. Not an expensive replacement, but too much for what it's worth to complain, so I'll leave this stain here. Unprofessional.

They are wonderful to work with, very kind and knowledgeable. Pricing is less than a lot of places. The only issue I had is they didn’t check to be sure they had my size of tire before I showed up for an appt, they didn’t have it in stock so I had to come back a few days later, but mistakes happen and they more than made up for it when I returned.

I purchased tires thru them in June before my vacation. Very quick and easy. 4 months later I got a piece of metal stuck in the back rear tire. I stopped in without an appointment and Hector and Paul did me right! They were able to remove the culprit metal piece- tested the tire for leaks ( none detected) and I was out the door in less than 15 minutes. My friend recommended this business since he’s been going there for the past 10 yrs. and I was thoroughly satisfied with the service!

Absolutely thrilled with my experience at this shop. I originally went somewhere else and was told to order a specific set of tires. After getting them through Mike, they didn’t end up fitting my car. That’s when Mike and Shawn stepped in and truly went above and beyond. Excellent service and competitive pricing with honest straightforward recommendations. I was dreading negotiating my tire replacement across some really bad customer support systems from other vendors when Mike encouraged me to drop in - they are close to where we live - and later that afternoon I was happily on the road again with a tire replacement that was actually a bit lower cost than the 2 quotes I'd managed to get elsewhere. And BTW the people who had chosen to wait at the shop seemed to be well looked after.

This place is wonderful! I got a flat tire tonight and knew I needed to get a patch or a new tire asap because of the amount of driving I do, but at 5:45pm on a Friday that’s a bit difficult! Mike answered the phone and told me to get my car there if I could and they’d do it quick. I was able to get my car there since I was just done the street, and the had it on a lift within minutes! They were honest and told me I just needed a patch, but I ended up getting another tire replaced because I knew it needed to be, and between both the patch on one tire and the replacement of the other, they were done in less than 45 minutes. I was amazed! For them to take me in like a stray dog and patch me up and send me on my way so quickly and efficiently and just awesome. And I didn’t even spend $200!! I’ll be back for my next tire needs and some other services as well!! Thanks Mike!

I've been coming to this shop since 2021 for everything from oil changes to major car fixes. Most recently, I had a frustrating car issue where my car kept overheating and check engine light that wouldn’t go away since I got the car in 2020, but after Mike worked his magic, the light is finally gone and my car is running better than ever! Even after moving to Bradenton, I still make the drive up because I only trust Mike and his team to get the job done right. He’s honest, thorough, and truly cares about his customers. I brought my box truck in because it was leaking coolant and paid for a diagnostic. Before dropping it off, I specifically asked if they work on box trucks and if repairs could be done there. I was told yes. They also stated, the diagnostic fee is not waived even if I chose to have the repairs done there.. which is very uncommon and should have raised a red flag. The next morning at around 8:45 AM, I received a call saying I needed an entire coolant system replacement, including the radiator and water pump which were bad. They then didn’t even offer an estimate for the repairs and told me they could not repair it there, referred me to another shop, and rather rudely said I would need to pick the truck up that same day. After taking the truck elsewhere, it turned out to be a cracked heater hose — something that should have been visible with a proper inspection by simply opening the engine compartment. From my perspective, a proper diagnostic was not performed, yet I was charged for one and given completely incorrect information. If they do not work on box trucks or did not want to repair it, that should have been made clear upfront — not after charging me and misdiagnosing the issue. Very disappointed with the lack of thoroughness and professionalism. I do not recommend this place. Management should seriously review how diagnostics are performed and how customers are treated, as this experience fell well below acceptable standards.

From the moment I arrived, Héctor greeted me warmly with a big smile and immediately told me not to worry—that he would take care of my problem. I explained to him that my wife is a nurse who works 12-hour shifts and that I didn’t have availability to come back another day. Even so, Héctor reassured me and made it clear that helping me was his priority and that everything was going to be okay. In the end, he completely resolved the issue. He showed me exactly where the problem was, explained everything clearly, and confirmed that the work previously done on the tire was in very good condition—it only needed the correct air pressure adjustment. His honesty and transparency were truly outstanding. I would also like to congratulate Choice Auto Service Center for having such an excellent employee like Héctor. Believe me, you truly have a very valuable employee on your team. I am extremely grateful that you have someone like him. He makes you feel at home, puts you at ease with his smile, and his open, caring attitude toward customers is simply exceptional. I wouldn’t give him 100%—I’d give him 150%. Dropped car off for an oil change. Got a call an hour later saying I need 4 new tires. “The front tires are bald on the inside and the back ones are down to the wear bars”. He was pressuring me with fear to buy. I told him no thanks. Same when I picked up the car. How do these guys sleep at night? See the photos. Buyer beware

I have used them twice now, they’re amazing!! As a younger woman with little knowledge of cars it’s hard to find mechanics that are reliable and trustworthy. This place was recommended to me by a local mechanic and family friend, since then I’ve only had positive experiences. Their prices are always fair and they always get the job done fast and well (which is so so rare). I would recommend them to anyone!
