Ended up finding this place online after being displeased with a previous car shop. Ernest was very nice and answered all questions that I had. He was very informative about what I didn’t know and scheduled me an appointment to come in. After coming in, Chris who worked on my car was very funny with great customer service and took care of my car very well. He was very quick at fixing what needed to be done and even informed me on what other steps he recommends for my vehicle. Overpriced just slightly but they also do the tire rotations and multipoint inspections. I had a battery replaced from AutoZone as it was still under warranty but Tire Choice told me I had a bad battery. The battery quote was way too much, I can get that half the price elsewhere and AutoZone was $209 but was free because of the warranty, but Tire Choice wanted $400+ to replace the battery, I told them NO THANK YOU!

Man, what can I say.....I damaged a tire while in Newport News and this was the closest repair facility. When I arrived the gentleman there informed me that he was the only employee there with no technician support. He made me aware that the wait may be a while due to that situation but I stuck around. This gentleman was called from Virginia Beach to cover this store with no support and did it professionally and with a positive attitude and provide great service with no support. You guys in management know who he is, compensate this gentleman the way he should be compensated for his dedication.

My complaint is towards the careless tech that replaced all four of my tires at the Yorktown location off 64. The tech appears to have been careless with the pneumatic gun when either removing or installing the lug nuts, perhaps even both. The tech also didn't put valve caps on all FOUR of the valve stems...seriously?? I had a tire patched at this location in October 2020 when it was Treadquarters without issue. I always take pictures of my car before its serviced because I don't trust people working on my car as they will mostl likely not take the same pride in working on it as I do. This very outcome is why I do all my own work as much as I can. I'd give it a 1 star, but the manager was pleasant and nice and I can't fault her. Could blame be placed on her since she's the manager, perhaps, but she didn't physically do it so I won't.

The lady working the counter December 8th was extremely rude and unprofessional. She acted as if me walking in was the absolute worst thing, it didnt look like she even want anything to do with me then told me yall dont plug tires or sell tire plugs so I had to get towed home. Will not be tire shopping here.

If you want to keep your wheels looking nice, DON'T GO HERE! I rarely post reviews and very rarely negative reviews. Unfortunately this place DAMAGED the wheels on my Ford Explorer ST and didn't want to own up to it. These wheels have never been curbed or scratched and this is the first time I have had to change the tires on this vehicle. The damage I noticed after the tire change is clearly consistent with what a tire changing machine would cause or if someone was struggling taking off the tire from the wheel. After complaining I was told "its probably just the protectant we use to protect the rim". Then I was told "if the damage is only on the front two wheels then it definitely wasn't us". Then they said "oh ya the technician noted damage on the front two wheels in pre-inspection." While I only noticed damage on the front wheels when I picked up the vehicle (because it was so obvious), after further inspection all wheels were damaged. In the pictures it's difficult to see the thin white scrape line that their machine cause on the edge of the rims, but you can clearly see where they chipped off some of the clear coat. Also, they did a horrible job of removing the weights on one of the wheels leaving lots of residue. Hating myself for not taking pictures before the service was done.

Under staffed, thought it was only going to take a couple days and ended up taking 6. I had to call several times to determine repair status and even visited the shop 3 times to try to determine what was going on. I realize it was the holidays. A daily call of repair status would have been nice.

I will give the manager the opportunity to “make things right” and edit this post if needed, but for now 1-star. I brought a new Jeep Cherokee into their shop to get a stock size set of all-terrain tires put on. 2.5 hours later I go outside and 3 out of 4 of my brand new wheels are damaged! Manager said he wasn’t sure what to do and would call his boss and keep me posted… I’m standing by. Super frustrating. I wait 2.5 hours pay $143 to get my vehicle damaged.. Awesome... (UPDATE) They filed a claim and I was referred to a body shop to make the repairs. They stuck to their word but still inconvenient to lose my vehicle for a couple of days because I needed new tires put on. lol.

Shout out to Gabby & Joe for literally saving the day! They were able to find a slow air leak in my tire when I was turned away from another shop. They were flexible and able to see my vehicle on short notice and found the problem immediately, showed me and even walked me through the issue and finding the replacement tire I would need. They were able to get it done as quickly and efficiently as possible and were working on several vehicles with staff callouts but still providing excellent and friendly customer service. This is a great team at this location, definitely trust my business here moving forward and was not treated as an inconvenience!

I was very disappointed to find the store understaffed. There was only one person to work the front desk and also was the technician. After my car was finished and paid for, I got into my car to discover the drivers door and fender had been bent from the lift (causing a pop when opening and closing the door). The matter was to be turned over to the store manager. I called thee days later to be told that it has been turned over to the District Manager. It is now 6 days from the damage, and no word yet.

HOOD Pull Release was broken when they replaced my coolant hose on my 2013 Mini Cooper; noone said anything. I noticed when getting in the car; it was "rigged" with a wire. I returned on 30 Dec for an oil change and the release to be repaired....Again, they "rigged" enough for me to walk out the door; was told they had to order a new part....I'M WAITING....Otherwise, the shop has always done good by me and the numerous vehicles I've owned and received service from them. Last, higher ups need to get permanent techs in there along with enough techs; you all been going through technicians for over a year...Chris was a "jewel" he single-handed maintained that shop by himself for a lonnnnggg time....So sorry you lost him. Of course, due to Chris being by himself...level of service was Not done....example customers got tires but NO mention of road hazards being offered...Yes, that was me....Management, you've got to do better Taking Care of Your People
