Had to get a flat tire fixed on a Sunday and Steve at Tires Plus in Waterloo, IA was so helpful and friendly. They were able to squeeze the repair into their queue and fixed it really fast. Had the trip from hell heading through Iowa. Simultaneously blew a tire and a brake line. Totally unrelated failures and on a Saturday afternoon! What kind of luck is that? Chose Tires Plus on Crossroads Blvd because it was near some hotels. Arrived ~3:30 and Steve got us right in. Nate, the mechanic, gave it a look and said he'd get right on it. By closing at 5:00 had a quote and parts on order for the brake line, which was in a really nasty spot on a Mercedes 4Matic. Steve said he'd get back in the morning with a tire quote. The tire side wall was ripped, so no fixing it and, being an AWD, one tire wasn't going to work, so had to buy a whole set, and they're an odd size, just to heighten the challenge. Nate called early afternoon on Sunday and said he had the brake lines replaced, the one that failed and it's companion because it was about to. Both had rusted high up under a bunch of splash shields. Very challenging spot. He was quite proud of his work and with good reason. We talked tools and techniques for a bit and I left with high regard for the dude. Loves his work and does a top notch job. Steve came through with a couple of tire options first thing Sunday morning and got a set on order, arriving Monday morning. Got us in early on Monday, new tires installed, and we were back on the road just after noon. About 48 hours from driving 55 on a doughnut spare with almost no brakes to back on our way. These guys went above and beyond all the way. Steve said he fretted during the night about whether our tires would arrive on time. And very reasonable prices. They could have raked us over the coals but instead gave top notch service for very good prices. Can't recommend them enough! 10 stars plus!

I came in with a quoted price of $560 for four tires. I understand that my Lugnuts were a little off but to get charged $15 per lug nut is absolutely insane. I looked up the retail price for my exact car and it was 2.99. They were purposely ordering from the most expensive brands and then on top of that my hub was not in the greatest condition and I was fine with paying that but then they priced me at $1100 for my hub? again ordering the most expensive thing out there. how are you about to quote me at $560 then quote me at 750 after the new lug nuts then quote me $1100 after, yeah no I don’t care about the labor. I would’ve paid for that but ordering the most expensive thing is absolutely ridiculous and I will never be coming back here because this is so overpriced and so stupid. on top of that I came at 1 o’clock and I left at 5:30 for me to be there for that amount of hours and to get charged that much is absolutely ridiculous.

Made an appointment online the day before. Went in to get some wiper blades and filters changed. Noticed some mild braking issues I wanted them to look at. Gave me a solid evaluation of my brakes and rotors. Explained the issue and what/when I should replace. created an estimate for when I decide to get them done. Very easy to talk to and gave great advice. Added coupons that were available to my work order. The price I paid for the wiper blades, cabin air filter and engine air filter were comparable if not cheaper had I gone elsewhere for service.

Called on phone to verify they could fix my problem and they stated they could but would need the car a couple days drove a hour down there because warranty on car had us choose this shop got there stood in lobby for 10 minutes before being helped left the car and next day they called and said they couldn't fix the problem and whoever i talked to both on phone and in person should of told me that never apologized for the mix up just pretty much said not their problem

I had a really wonderful experience today. I can’t remember his name, but the man at the front helping me was so kind. I’m usually hesitant to use larger chain stores for anything related to my car, but I will be going back in the future. He made sure that I knew what every option was, did not pressure me into any decisions, but helped me make the right one. My tires were in rough shape and my stress was very high walking in there. I left feeling relieved and satisfied with the work done. I’m incredibly thankful for the kindness shown, and the skill put into taking care of my vehicle.

10/10 customer service and experience, Stephen and the rest of the crew took such good care of my car and all for an amazing price!
