This Tires Plus is superior to the Tires Plus on Galleria! After a fiasco at the Tires Plus at Galleria, this Tires Plus showed how a shop is supposed to be run. I had an appointment to get my brakes done at the Galleria Tires Plus and after 3 hours and my car being in the shop and no one even touching it, when they noticed me looking in the shop they asked which car was mine. I told them and they told me that it would be at least another 2 hours, and had no reason why no one had touched my car! I told them to pull my car out, and I was leaving. I made an appointment at the Tires Plus on Pullman, and the manager called me the same day to ask questions. Bought my car in, added getting new tires and brakes done, and they had my car completed in 3 hours! They were respectful, courteous, and communicated well the entire time!

They no longer rotate tires for free with an oil change unless you bought from them (I don't, ever, because they don't offer the replacement certificates that Discount Tire offers) and they used to top off your fluids for free with a paid oil change. Now, they just let you know something's low. The wait is much longer...used to be 15 minutes with an appointment, and now it was three hours because "we only have two guys today" but I watched them send home a person who showed up to work while the line of customers was to the door. They're cutting services, making us wait longer, and charging more than they used to. I know prices are going up, but I expect the same service, and I certainly didn't get it. They were polite and courteous, and the place was clean, but that doesn't make up for the other problems, and I'll be going elsewhere from now on.

This visit was a REALLY mixed bag. I purchased my tires at Tire Rack and had them shipped to the shop. Tire Rack also linked me to Tires Plus' online scheduling so I chose early Saturday morning. Upon arrival, the service advisor confirmed my tires had been delivered but they had no appointment request for me. The email I'd received said I'd be contacted if the appointment became unavailable and offered no other instructions. The service advisor had no answer as to why my request had not arrived. He then told my they had no open waiting appointments for the morning and said it would be 3-4 hours, or I could come back another day. I agreed to wait because I was there and my tires were there, I'm already driving in a spare, and I live 30 minutes away, so what choice did I have? The service writer was giving me more a "discouragement" vibe than anything, and I must've been getting visibly frustrated because another fellow entered from the shop and asked what was up. While the service writer stepped outside to get my vehicle info, the other gentleman (presumably the service manager) asked me to show him the email, and he told me that it didn't look at all like the one their customers get and he's not sure why they received no communication but assured me they did not, even taking a minute to explain how they receive those alerts, which I did appreciate. I'm not sure how the service writer guessed at 3-4 hours, but the service manager got my car in the air almost immediately and I was leaving in less than an hour. I don't believe he needed to do that (I'd already resigned myself to a wait), but I was truly impressed by the hustle from him and the techs on duty. However there was one final issue I found out long enough after the fact it wasn't worth the effort to return and correct. I asked to keep my old tires (to use as potato planters), but was still charged the $5/tire recycling fee. The service writer did not review the service with me at all, which added further to the sense that I was a little unwelcome. In summary: A++ from the crew in the service area for the their hustle and helpfulness, but D for the counter staff. Went in on a Sunday for new tires and sold me on alignment too. Thought it was a great convenience being open on a Sunday. Well took a few hours. I was asked who did my tires last cause of a stripped lug!?!? I did see one employee urgently stopping the other during the reinstall of my back wheel, I had mentioned that to the gentleman who was billing me. But I was assured that all is safe and functional. Take my finished car back and to work, many new alarming sounds. That back wheel is now missing two lugs and I am going to pay for a tow home. Reached out to tires plus and got the blame placed on me.

I was in a pinch and wanted to get seen quickly as I had a flat tire that needed attention. All the other shops in town wouldn’t be able to fit me in until late afternoon, mind you I started calling at 8am. I guess no one takes walk-ins anymore for flat tires. Tires plus sensed my urgency and they were able to see me sooner than later. As a result I only missed half a day of work. They were able to fix my flat and get me going within 2 hrs. Truley appreciate the swift, great service!
