My daughter and her friends went down to Galveston for a Senior trip. They had to replace a part in the car and Auto zone sold them a used (did not know it was used, we purchased a new one) part which caused the car to start miss firing. Tony's helped them get the car to the shop and got them back their air bnb. He was able to diagnose and fix the problem in a day and had the car back to them the next morning. He was very helpful and worked with us, the parents over the phone and helped us feel comfortable and confident that he would get it fixed and our kids wouldn't be stranded.

I called Tony about my passenger side electric window stuck in the down position when he was closing for the night a few days ago. I was going to have to leave my car with the window down overnight in a driveway at the vacation house I was staying in with rain on the way, and bring the car in when they opened in the morning. Tony was so friendly and gave great advice to keep the inside of my car getting wet. The issue resolved itself a few hours later but Tony's great mannerisms were such a contrast to the mechanics I'm used to dealing with in Austin I'd like to bring my car in for general service with him before I hit the road if possible.

While in the Bolivar Peninsula with a large group our vehicle unexpectedly had a failure. Several calls to local shops, tow companies and rental companies led us to believe we were stranded due to our location. Then we called Tony. Tony jumped into action. He found a reasonably-priced tow, even made a rental car pickup for us since we would not make it in time before they closed. He took a lot of troubles out of the process and got the repair done as quickly as he was able so we could make the 1300 mile drive home without any delay. We truly thank Tony for all the extra trouble it took on his end to keep our family safe and able to continue our time on vacation.

Tony is an absolute gem of a person! While down here in Galveston on vacation our alternator died. I called International Car Care and Tony let me know he’d have a guy out that day to tow my car and get started on diagnosis and repair. Tony checked a battery connection that needed to be replaced, but said in addition to that our alternator was draining the battery. He had the part ordered in and our car was ready to go in 24 hours at a great rate. He made a very stressful situation so much easier and my family is grateful! Nobody wants car trouble on vacation, especially when you’re 5 hours from home, but having someone kind and dependable was a blessing. Highly recommend International Car Care if you find yourself in need of help as well. Thanks Tony!!!

I was stuck in galveston with an issue with my envoy and this amazing establishment was able to get my truck fixed and have me on my way home before they closed. 0 Star Review to this place. Based on the previous comment from Martha’s Sepulveda experience, things have been nothing but a nightmare for her. She dropped off her red Pontiac Firebird over a year ago for repairs, and since then, it has been held hostage by this shop. Communication has been non-existent; the service writer/owner refuses to respond to certified letters, even rejecting them. His excuses about waiting for parts and then trying to shift the burden onto her to locate them are absurd. I have years of experience running a mechanic shop by myself, and when things like this happen it’s due to multiple reasons and mistakes made at the shop facility, avoiding communication with the customers can become a thing, as much as they don’t want to accept it because it’s easy to not face customers up and avoid arguments, but things should not be this way. Unfortunately, Martha couldn’t bring the vehicle to me due to living far away from where I stay, and decided to give this place her trust. I’m not advocating for her due to just being family, but because I’m sick of tired of people like this taking advantage of people that work so hard to be able to afford these type of things just for someone to screw them up, especially if you’re a woman. At this shop, the person primarily handling the repairs claims that Martha owes him $1,600 just to get her vehicle back, despite the fact that it was running when she left it in his care, and now it's not. This people is pretty much implementing charges of storage without even taking responsibility of leaving the vehicle at a worst condition. Parts have been removed from the car and now he’s refusing to respond for what’s been already touched, nothing should have been taken apart if there wasn’t assurance of being able to purchase parts again, as somebody that should know their job properly could know that there are some parts that are discontinued or in back order, it’s something that needs to be verified before even selling a job, of course it wasn’t something that these people didn’t bring to Martha’s attention because all they wanted was to make the sale happen, and get the money that they could in, this just shows how much unprofessional people is in this place, and the lack of empathy they have for their customers. This level of negligence and incompetence is unacceptable! Please! Avoid this shop at all costs, they aren’t here to make relationships with their customers but to screw people up, unfortunately some customers don’t see it that way because everyone’s repair reasons vary, but it is very easy to screw people up when they don’t have the knowledge of how things work, and some could even think that they received the help when they actually just got roved. Just like some doctors, they aren’t there necessarily to help their patients but to get their check. Finding a trustable place is hard, and this place should be taken out of everyone’s list.

Last summer, I had to get my car repaired due to noise and the airbag light illuminating. Despite paying a hefty $1,500, Tony failed to resolve any of the issues; instead, the car started vibrating even more. It appeared that his efforts had only worsened the situation. When I returned the car, Tony was impatient and directed me to leave it somewhere. A week passed with no call from him, prompting me to visit his shop, only to find my car parked on the roadside in the rain. Unfortunately, it had been flooded, his employees told me that their boss didn't tell any of them to get the car serviced!. Tony's lack of accountability and disregard for his customers' vehicles is evident—do not trust him; he is a liar and he will squeeze every penny of you.

They couldn't help, but suggested Tony's, I called, he answered, Told me to bring the truck over, he looked at it for me and got it fixed Same day. it all began in late afternoon, he had me out of there heading home before evening, good work, fair price, highly recommended. 10 stars.

We got a big oil leak on a trip down from New York. Tony hooked us up, gave us an honest estimate and stayed hours late for an entire timing chain in a day to make sure we could leave on schedule. Even better, he picked us up after it was finished so we didn't have to walk an hour in the heat. Tony is an absolute saint and while I hope I never get stranded in Texas again I know who I will be calling.

We were traveling and from out of town and our VW broke down. Our original plan was to have it towed to the dealership, where they said it would be 3-4 days before they could even look at it. But our Uber driver highly recommended this place, so we called and talked to Tony and he said he would be able to look at our car today!! So we changed our tow to drop off at this place in the AM. When we got there and explained our situation and Tony said although they were completely booked, since we were from out of town and stranded, he would move us to be worked on right away. He said he had a guy picking up parts in Houston and that he could add what we needed and it would arrive around 3pm. He also gave us a ride to a nearby tourist strip where he recommended places to shop and eat at. They were able to work on our VW and get us back on the road by 5ish PM. This place was a godsend for us. They ran our car for a while to make sure everything was good and they explained what all they replaced in great detail. Tony said if we run into any issues to call him directly. Excellent work and customer service 5/5!!

I really want to thank the owner Mr. Tony for his professionalism and trust! He helped us a lot. We from Houston and our car broke down. Not only Mr. Tony towed our car at a great rate, but also he fixed it in a great timing. The very next day our car was ready to be picked up. Trust level was great from his side. Update: My Pontiac is in good condition now, Tony had found issues not discussed and took it upon hisself to fix, put the car back together and ran it to be sure everything was good. My car is back home, we agreed on a reasonable price and we're able to discuss other issues that are needed to have it running in tip top condition for its age. Thankyou Tony and crew, I appreciate you and the work in caring for my baby(car).

Wow, is all I can say now! Tony and his crew worked so hard on my 1979 GMC Caballero (see photos I posted). He is the only one who could have restored this beauty to its original working condition. It was in a sad state, but he never gave up on her. I am so happy with him and the others who worked on this project with me!
