Tony's auto repair is one of those shops that you just don't find anymore. They are family oriented and take care of their customers. The work he performed for me I have no complaints it was timely and Labor cause was within the standard prices. I will definitely go to Tony's auto repair for future repairs.

Tony’s shop is AWESOME! I have now taken all 3 of my vehicles here for service! A Mercedes, a Jaguar and an Impala! His team does great work and is very affordable! I couldn’t be more thankful for Tony and the wonderful men working there. I have had a noise in my car for months and my car was riding rough I should have takin in so long ago but had trouble finding a mechanic in Rockford that wasn’t trying to rip me off because I’m a woman with little to no car knowledge always trying to get me to “fix” things that were not broken. I thought it was my drivers side wheel bearing so I bought the part and my brakes and rotors took it to Tony the next day I ended up being late (sorry Tony) but he still took my car and turned out it wasn’t my drivers side wheel bearing but my axle was broken he stayed after after they were closed on a Saturday (when he didn’t have to) so I could go exchange the parts did the axle brakes and rotors AND my back door panels that were falling off. It didn’t fix the sound and he told me bring it back this week and they will figure it out. Today I dropped it off at 7:30am before they opened but he was already there he greeted me we chatted about the horrible sound and I picked my smooth, quiet, safe driving car at 4:30pm when I got off work. Him and his team were all very friendly professional and most of all did great work for a very reasonable price. I will only be going to Tony’s for as long as I’m in this hell hole of a place called Rockford for all my mechanical needs and I know I’ll need them again cause I drive a Ford and these are the worst cars. I couldn’t be happier with quality, price, and friendliness of everyone there. Thanks guys

Tony and his guys are amazing! I have taken my vehicles here for 3 years and have never had a less than stellar experience. I will not take my vehicles to any other place! They do great work, they do it fast, and prices are great! Absolutely 5 stars!

It was kind of high in labor costs but they did fix my car in a hurry but did not tell me what was wrong first or gave me an option if I wanted it to be done or not by calling and letting me know the prices. They put a used part in cause it was cheaper but I would of liked a new part to make sure my car ran the best it could. I will update this review if my car takes a turn for the worse. But they make you feel like everything will be fine with their friendly smiles and friendly customer service. You have to book your appointment for your car to be fixed cause they be extra extra busy. Get their early and first of the day to get out early. My car is running but I haven't tried the expressway yet and I will on Monday to be sure my car is definitely fixed. I'm disabled so my money is limited and I think I was charged way too much and wasn't given an option as to if I can afford the repairs or not. That's the only part that bugged me. But so far I'm satisfied with the fix. It don't feel as good as it did before it broke down but I hope that will go away also. I'm trying to trust Tony's auto so far.

I had a flat tire and it was the 4th of July, so basically everything was close. I must of called at least 20 different business. Tony's was open and took care of me and got me back on the road! As stressed out as I was, I'm so thankful Tony was there when I needed him. You can count on him to get the job done!!

This place stinks instead of looking like a workshop it looks like an old car yard it always has the same cars so they don't work on them. For this reason the area looks very bad

My transmission ended up blowing up and the closest place near when it blew was Tony’s auto repair so I thought I’d give them a chance ordered the transmission got it to them had a warranty on it stating if any issues with the trans transmission send it back and swap with a new one so they the transmission put it in my car everything’s going good for a few days my car started shutting off mid drive til eventually it wouldn’t turn back on so I took it to my buddy who’s also a mechanic and said the transmission is not good and on top of that they didn’t put the mounts in with the transmission they didn’t check the fluids like requested they didn’t replace any fluids at all so now I’m stuck with a transmission that’s going out and I’m out of 1500$ so I would not recommend coming here they will do a half ass job then over charge you when they said a specific amount.

This was my first time bringing my 2017 Chevy Malibu to Tony’s, and I’m really glad I did! The staff was super friendly and made me feel comfortable right away. They took the time to explain everything clearly and didn’t try to push any extra repairs I didn’t need. The work was done quickly, the price was fair, and my car is running great now. Tony did some work on my 2017 ford edge after going and calling to many different mechanics. He gave me a great price compared to the other mechanics. Tony was extremely helpful explaining to me what had to be done and what wasn’t as necessary. Also loved the fact that he didn’t try to push no unnecessary repairs, like most repair shops do nowadays. Very genuine and honest business. Will definitely be coming back.
