I could not ask for better service. I was able to tell Trubey that my lower ball joint was broken. These guys had my part ordered before I arrived! They immediately began working on my vehicle to fix the problem and had me on my way in no time. We were on our way from out of town and broke down on the side of the road. We were so pleased with the honesty and professional service we received.

Quite simply put, yes, there are still honest auto mechanics out there, and owner Dave Trubey is just that. You will not find a more fair and honest mechanic than the Trubeys. If they say that something needs to be done, than you can take it to the bank that it needs to be done. They don't nickel and dime you to death. This is a family owned business and they strive to do right by their customers and stand by their work.

I did not go there, I just called to find out that they want $20.00 per tire just to mount tires without balancing them that you bring in which is at least $10.00 more than most charge for this service. This is done because they are tying to make up some of the money that they did not make when you did not buy the tires from them, they figure that they have you over a barrel since people don't usually have a tire machine in their backyard, but you can get them mounted *and* balanced for half that price if you just shop around, which I would highly recommend for all their services if this is an example of how they do business. In response to the owner's comments below, I would note that they are charging about $100.00 per hour to mount tires @ $25.00 per tire since a decent laborer can easily mount and balance 4 tires in an hour. Finally, an auto repair shop I really trust. I have gone there a few times now, with both our vehicles. I had our older minivan towed there after it threw off its serpentine belt and it was fixed quickly. A few weeks later, when it developed a fan belt noise, I sprayed it with belt lube and thought it didn't help, but by the time I drove it there the noise has gone away. Still, since I was there I had them look at it. They found no problem and didn't charge me for checking it over. An even bigger repair was needed on our Mini Cooper. It hadn't been shifting easily for long time and I had balked at having an expensive Orlando Mini dealership or European Auto repair specialist replace the clutch for thousands of dollars. Trubey looked it over and rather than the clutch it needed two clutch cables. Still an expensive job but not as much as the clutch would have been. Along with turning a brake rotor and replacing a bearing to eliminate some noises another shop told us wasn't caused by a bearing or the brakes, it was a big job, but now it is quieter and shifts like a new car again.. On one of my Trubey repairs, however, rusty parts or some complication came up that made the job take longer than estimated. But the repair was still performed for the amount of the estimate. What a relief to have found Trubey's.

I highly recommend this shop. It’s a family run business, and they are very honest and to the point. My parents and I bring all our vehicles there. They take the time to explain the pluses and minuses of the repairs and they do not hide anything. Very honest. And reasonably priced. 85,000 thumbs up!!!!!

Though they were unable to assist with my repairs, they did evaluate, inspect my 2017 Chevy Colorado transmission problems at (NO CHARGE) and did steer me in the right direction, which resulted in me getting my truck repaired at a reasonable price. The transmission was short 4 quarts of fluid and needed a transmission coolant line replaced. Thank you Trueby Auto Repair for valuable assistance.

Love this place! They did an awesome job repairing the damage done to my car. I had been hit and the person who hit me pushed my car sideways damaging all that stuff holding the tires. Yeah, I'm not knowledgeable about what does what and what they are called, but the people at Trubey treated me with kindness and respect. All the repairs cost $400 LESS than I expected to pay and my car has never driven better. While I was waiting, the owners kept checking on me to see if I needed water or if I was hungry. They even offered to get me food. I don't live close by, but they are more than worth the drive for the excellent service they give. Trubey Auto is truly AWESOME!

We recently moved to Florida and were looking for an honest mechanic. We thought that our SUV was having brake problems so we took it into Truby Auto Repair. They inspected it and said our brakes were fine and didn't need to be repaired. They could have charged us for a full break job, and we would not have known the difference. I had AC not working on my Hyundai. Bigger problem than originally anticipated. Wiring was fried. They ordered the additional parts and repair was done great and very timely, and at a fair price. Interior of car looked like it was untouched, very clean job. Even gave me a car to use for a few hours. Family run and being my first time using them I will always use Trubey Auto repair and recommend them highly. Such a nice family and they care!

I’ve gone here twice and this place is terrible. The first time I went in for a diagnosis on what I found later to be a faulty abs module and was told “there’s nothing wrong with it, we didn’t notice anything while driving it.” (Meanwhile it was consistently noticeable for months Everytime you would drive it because pressing the brake pedal wouldn’t slow the vehicle at all including on the way to the shop and leaving the shop) and then proceeded to charge me 120$ diagnostic fee when nothing was diagnosed. Oh, not to mention I had a part go missing on my tailgate when it was parked there.(not implying, but) A few years later I decided to give another shot and went in and asked if they could plug it in and run a quick scan to see what codes were being thrown (which is typically free) and was told “well, we would have to charge you a diagnostic fee” I asked how much they would charge me for the 5 mins it takes and Was told 65$. This place is a joke and only wants to rip you off… I said the first time I wouldn’t be back, and tried to see if anything changed but clearly not. “A good name is rather to be chosen than great riches” and clearly they prefer the latter.
