I bought the most expensive car wash they had and my car came out looking like it wasn’t even cleaned. No smell goods, also no rags to dry off your car. Went to the vacuums… those also didn’t work very well and I figured that was the most important part since their car wash itself was like dumping your car in water and calling it a day. There are surely better car washes to go to because this one was awful! Best car wash in town? I’d have to disagree. Mediocre at best.

The only reason he didn't get one star is because the self-wash has good pressure. Never have I used a facility in which the machine doesn't stop at the 3 minute time limit. Not only did it not stop, I didn't know how to stop it! Can't stand manipulative, exploitative business. This guy is something else. Does he know what I did/didn't do at his facility? Goodness. Does he take accountability in any poor reviews? Not only that, he blames his customers... A lot of businesses have been around since '94. It's called capitalism. Doesn't mean reputability.

Tyler Car Wash is great! I like the self wash section where you can manually wash your car. Place is always crowded and prices aren't bad!

I went to this carwash many times. There are lots of signs about not drying your car in the bay. Today, I sat and waited for 10 mins for people to finish wash their car. Someone finished, and he then started drying his car. I waited for a few minutes as the manager didn't say anything to him. This place has lost my business. The manager was just sitting in the office and they have cameras for each bay. Pay attention this is your business

I love Tyler Car Wash. The gentleman who run/owns is a very nice guy. It is touchless, and I can choose not to have an undercarriage spray. I Woolwax my truck once a year, and I don't want it to wash off. It is great for me, and they have free vacuums!

Tyler Wash is great for touchless wash and free vacuums. I’ve been coming here for years and I always appreciate the reliability. Eduardo is always super helpful and friendly greeting customers at the automatic washes. I highly recommend!

Tyler's Car Wash is a nice place. Attendants are friendly and helpful. Lines move pretty fast. Equipment works well. Layout is a little difficult when it is crowded, but no major incidents.

As a plow truck operator, I have visited many self-serve car washes in the area. Without a doubt Tyler's car wash is the best. Everything is always clean and working properly. Truly the best car wash in the area.

Oopsie and sorry! My Bad! Went back this morning and the attendant politely explained to me how the system works; you stay in the lane where you paid and don't lose your spot in line! That's how the system keeps track and order of cars. The attendant offered me a wash and the car looks perfect. My apology and a big thanks to Tyler Car Wash!

Just stopped by to use the touchless wash for the first time. I asked the attendant if it will clean under the vehicle and the attendant said the highest option will ($18). After going through that and looking at my truck after the wash and dry, there was still soap all over the side mirrors, at the bottoms of my doors, and all over my rear tires. I ended up having to pay for the self serve after their premium car wash to get the soap off my standard size Ram 1500. Hopefully others have better experiences

Went to the car wash on 4/14/25. Bought the 5 washes for $56. It didn’t give me my receipt with the code to get my future washes. The attendant said he couldn’t do anything. So I didn’t get any washes. He took my name and the last 4 of my credit card, and said I would get a refund. Never did. Contested charges with the credit card company. Not the first time this car wash breaks down.

WASTE OF MONEY Three visits in the last 2 weeks with no wax or spot free rinse. I informed the attendant on the first visit who just smiled and nodded his head. One time he checked the chemical he said there was plenty in the barrel. Having been a car wash operator I can tell you there's a lot more to it than having chemical in the barrel. Is the proportioner functioning correctly and have the right tip in it, or is the tip too small, diluting the chemical to much? Is the foot valve functioning correctly? Is the pump functioning correctly or is there evidence of blow by? Are your employees trained to look for these things when somebody expresses concern? If they were I don't believe his only response would be concerning the barrel. I have expressed this concern on a previous review. I was contacted by the owner who acknowledged there was a training issue and begged me to change my review, which I regrettably did. An employee parks in the first bay next to the office, even when people are waiting for a bay to open up. To the owner, I strongly suggest you reach out to the operator of Elburn Car Wash to learn how to ensure customers are getting what they pay for. There is never any question of wax because it is visibly apparent in its appearance and incredible beading. Not once have I had an issue with spotting indicating that his soft water system is available and functioning all the time.

I used the manual hand wash booths and I am glad they have them. The booth worked great all settings no problem. It about a dollar a minute it seems.

This is one of the only touchless car wash establishments in the area. I highly recommend using this place. I sometimes prewash my car in the hand bay then go through the touchless since stronger soaps are used in automatic car wash bays/lanes. Also love that I live close and they are open 24/7, so I go when no one else is there. I will say it can get busy, but that just shows it is well worth the wait for touchless. Tip: back into the vacuum station.

I come here once a week for over five years. The staff is so friendly. I can pull into the car wash without worrying about hitting the tires on any tracks, the touch free doesn’t scratch up the car, and the vacuums always work. And again, the staff is lovely!!

Had an issue where I paid for a car wash and there was an issue where I don’t end up getting the wash. Came back the next day and the people were super helpful and gave me back my car wash plus an upgrade. Car wash cleans the car well, and the driers are very good.

Great touchless car wash for getting winter salt off your car. I went on a Wednesday morning and it was still packed, so it’s clearly a popular spot but the line moved pretty quickly. If you have a new car, I’d recommend touchless over a “hand wash” unless you’re doing it yourself (or you truly trust the detailer). This is an easy, low-risk option to keep the car clean in the winter.
