Kia & Kia service. Been impressed with the Kia k5 2024, drives & looks great. One disappointment is a little wind road noise around the drivers door/window. Have had to bring in to get charger station repaired for cell phone. Unfortunately today the heater in service department is out, so it’s freezing in the dealership waiting area. The service for Kia is not covered & extended with new car purchase so you quickly must pay for service out of pocket. I love the driver assistance, as it is better than Toyota on keeping k5 in between lines & at safe following distance. It almost feels like an auto pilot. I have owned many Toyotas & love the quality but the high tech in Kia makes me think twice now about what to purchase next. I do not think you can go wrong with Kia k5, almost 20,000 miles in.

I like overall experience but financing people over there will rip you off if you don’t pay close attention to contract. Don’t ever take dealer warranty or insurance. Its been a 7 weeks and i still haven’t got my refund back they said it will be back by 5 6 weeks but for sure taking long for that things. Be aware !!!!

This Kia location has taken a drastic turn for the worst over the past years. Any time you try to file a claim for warranty coverage, the employees act like it is coming out of their personal accounts. It took me months to even get them to look at my car to see if it was eligible. No one acted like they were knowledgeable on the coverage they sold me. You no longer get a courtesy vacuum or wash when your car is serviced. I was told my car had a recall, but the part was not in stock and I would receive a call when it came in. I never received a call and have been trying to reach someone regarding the recall as it has been over 3 months approximately. They told me they did not know why someone would tell me I’d receive a call, because it is usually an automated text. Nevertheless, I never received a call or text. When I try to speak to someone they just keep transferring me to parts who hangs up on me. I have been patient and friendly, but it is baffling how unprofessional and uninformed they are at this point. The staff’s overall customer service and knowledge is subpar and needs serious evaluation. Manager called and scheduled me a service appointment to get the recall done as the part had been in. I took my car to get serviced and was called 2 hours later and told it could not be done that day because they did not know it was a blower motor replacement. How do you not know it is a blower motor replacement when you literally scheduled the appointment and knew how much time it would take to complete the service? Absolutely ridiculous and a waste of time. Dropped my car off at my new appointment and was called 1 hour and half later and told my part was given away, to come pick up my car, & reschedule for another 1 1/2 weeks. It’s actually insane how unorganized this place is. Dropped my car off again for new appointment this time I was told it might take until the next day which is not what was previously quoted. Therefore, I made no preparations to be carless for this long. No response after asking for update on number provided. Experienced battery issues the same day I picked up my vehicle and had zero issues beforehand. The dealership is claiming it is a coincidence, and the battery needs to be replaced. Treating people poorly and deny responsibility for their wrongdoing seems to be a common theme.

Do not buy from here. Please shop around. These guys use sales tactics to rip you off. They took my keys to my truck I was thinking of trading in, kept me, my wife and granddaughter there all day as hostages until we were forced into a deal I was unhappy with. The wife and I just wanted to get out of there and go eat something. Now I’m upside down on a used vehicle and can’t do anything until it’s paid down considerably. I am not a happy customer. Oh, and one of the sales guys promised to take me and the wife to dinner sometime, but that never happened. As I said, please shop around before going here.

By far the best and easiest car buying experience I’ve ever experienced. All of the staff, to include ones we didn’t directly work with, were incredibly nice and welcoming. To start, they had Santa there for the kids to meet (free pictures printed) while we waited on some things and then also had a legitimate coffee truck there, that was all inclusive. From the moment my family got there, we felt welcomed and apart of the KIA Family. Jake Bullard - our sales rep; this man was definitely the main reason that sold us on the KIA. He was extremely family oriented, great with the kids, and took time to actually know us and definitely wasn’t “all business”. He also was great at getting us additional things we requested as well as working to find us exactly what we wanted. I sincerely hope that University KIA knows what an asset they have in Mr Bullard. Best sales rep I’ve ever had in the multitude of car buying experiences I’ve had. Mr Williams - finance manager; this is 100% the only good interaction I have ever had with a finance person at a dealership. In the past, they have always been very robotic. Mr Williams was fun / funny during our short meeting but was very informative and helped us get things finalized. I can’t express how happy I am with the KIA Carnival, but more grateful that we drove the extra miles to Waco and this KIA specific Dealership. Even after the purchase was complete, Mr Bullard took more time with us to completely go over the Carnival and all the features. All in all, 10/10 recommendation on the Carnival (and KIAs great warranty) but more than anything 10/10 for University of KIA staff. If you are stationed at Fort Cavazos, make the longer drive and I guarantee you’ll have a good experience here.

With Many Mendez’s knowledge and expertise in his job, I was able to walk out from that dealership in less than 3 hours with the car I wanted and needed. Many and his team were able to process all the paper quick while letting me know about everything I needed to you. I had so many questions becuz I went to the dealership indecisive but MANY was so helpful and very knowledgeable. DONT WASTE YALL TIME AND GO SEE MANY MENDEZ AT KIA UNIVERSITY!!!
