They were going to charge me $1500 for the ac pump replacement and said they couldn't bypass it. Well we didn't have that kind of money so we went to napa where they had the right size belt and we bypassed it ourselves for $50. I felt like they were trying to milk us.

Vince and his crew are always there to keep me on the road. Usually same day service on minor repairs. I highly recommend this shop.

The mechanics at Valley View stepped up to the challenge and replaced the seatbelts of my vehicle. Two hours of labor was well worth the trip. Thank you.

We were on our way to California and stopped in Ashland for the night when our Honda Element started to overheat. We called two other repair shops and one of them said to call Valley View auto Repair. Vince Answered the phone, I told him the problem and 2 hours before closing he told me to bring it in. They diagnosed it and it needed new radiator fans. They ordered the parts and we came back the next day and we were back on the road by 12 noon. Vince and their entire crew are so awesome! Thank you! We appreciated all of you so much! On our way back to Gladstone Oregon we saw your shop from the freeway as we were passing by and I waved to all of you and sent a huge intention of appreciation your way for what you guys did for us! Thank you for your kindness!

I called in the morning to see if I could have my car looked at for a problem in the steering column, I figured I'd call now & have to come in later in the week or the following week. To my surprise They had me come right in, leave the vehicle, and gave me a ride back while they looked into the problem. They found the problem (a flex coupler inside the motor of the steering column, 2012 Kia Soul) and fixed the car that same day. Everyone there was friendly, professional & knowledgeable, I'll be coming back here anytime I have need too. They took great care of me, they will for you too. Couldn't be happier!

Very very bad experience here. Vince and his team are liars and just in general very manipulating people. They charged me triple the price of what others in the area would have charged. They initially gave me a fair estimate and then once they had my car in the shop, they started finding additional problems that didnt exist. I didn't have many options at this point and payed an arm and a leg for a very minor repair. They treat customers like they aren't humans and look for anyone in a vulnerable situation to take advantage of. I spoke with the local police about this and they said they have had many others call in with similar complaints. They recommended me to take action in a civil suit. Please please please, DO NOT GO TO THIS SHOP. It was the worst mechanic experience I've ever had. I really hope Vince can learn some integrity and make an honest living 🙏. I'm disappointed in what our country has become.

I have been bringing my 2011 Honda Fit here regularly for the 6 years I have lived here. These guys - headed up by Vince the owner - are honest, well-priced and efficient and quick too. I also appreciate their free shuttle service to & back from my house if I don’t want to wait…I have recommended them to my friends and neighbors too…great shop!

I ran into some car trouble and I was lucky enough to find this place! Everyone was very courteous, identified the issue quickly, and got me back on the road within a few hours. Additionally, they drove me to town so I could take in the sights while I waited. Finding this place was a blessing amid a bad situation. They were fast, affordable, and provided great service! Very grateful for their help!

Vince, bless you and your team — I truly hope you learn to do honest business. I came in for a simple A/C recharge on my 2008 Prius and ended up paying $300 (negotiated from 360$!), which I later found out is way above the normal market price — even dealers charge less for the same service. I do not recommend this shop. It’s one thing to charge for honest work, but another to gouge customers.

Broke down at this gas station and needed a quick jump. As I was doing so this little weasel approached us and said he’d try giving us a jump with his portable unit. I, not thinking straight, assumed he had good intentions and let him take over given the problem seemed to be more than a battery issue. Long story short this guy and his crew turned a simple jump start into trying to replace some unnecessary BS saying itd be $450 to fix for an oil change and replacing some wires. The oil was and still is fine and the issue was fixed by purchasing and replacing the battery. I wouldnt stop here even for gas. You’re better off at Dino across the street

I brought my Acura in because after getting the oil changed at another establishment they told me that I had leaks in the undercarriage. I had a longish road trip planned for a few days later and didn't have time to check things out myself. The guys at VVAR told me they could have it fixed same day (Saturday), they took a look and found that I had several plugs loose. They tightened everything up, topped me off and only charged me the inspection fee. I truly appreciate their honesty, and I will bring my car here again next time I need something.

EDIT- I took one star away for 2 reasons. 1) I ended up needing the nationwide warranty, but this shop neglected to include part numbers for the defective part. That info is required for the warranty work to be completed. The new shop was able to call them and get the required info. 2) My local shop runs $350 less for the same job. I guess that's part of the "break down on vacation tax". Not the end of the world but its a bummer when you dont have options out on the road. We're talking about a $1k repair. $350 is a large vacation breakdown tax. Original Review -76 Station with an auto repair shop on-site. We had a fuel pump go out in our Chevy Truck while driving down I-5. We were coming from Sacramento, CA, and on our way to the dunes in Winchester Bay. We got a tow to this shop. They had the problem diagnosed in about 10-15 minutes. They ordered parts and got us back on the road by noon the next day. It was a huge relief and only cost us one day of our vacation. They have a courtesy shuttle that took us to and picked us up from the hotel of our choosing. The price to fix our truck was fair. I called a couple of other shops and got pricing for the same work. They were right in line with the other service/repair shops. My goal was only to make sure we weren't being taken advantage of. We weren't. 👍🏻The shop is a bit cluttered and dirty, but that didn't affect them getting the job completed correctly. The staff was very friendly and understanding about the need/want for us to get back on the road. They are open 24 hrs a day. This means they were able to keep an eye on our trailer for us with 5 atvs/quads on it. All in all we had a good experience with this shop.

The shuttle driver should not be driving. Hopefully someone else called it in but was driving erratically on the freeway and on ramp. I've driven for work before I couldn't imagine flipping people off cutting them off and riding ass that hard on the freeway while in a company vehicle with its name and number plastered on the back that man cut off multiple people was driving extremely unsafe. I wouldn't be surprised if someone called the cops as well as the company. You guys should really vet your drivers better. This is a super bad look simply because of your free shuttle service driver. I would never come here cuz I don't think I'd make it home safe. That's for damn sure. Whoever was driving on I-5 South October 22nd at 12:40 p.m. with the license plate of 270 lrv needs fired.

They looked into a vehicle with a check engine light for cylinder misfires (something most car part store diagnose for FREE) and replaced the knock sensor and changed the oil at 1500 miles, then charged 800, 150 for an oil change $40 for a knock sensor and $30 for the gasket the rest was Labor for a job that has an average of a 1 1/2 hour repair, for an issue that continued after getting the car back, spent 15 minutes taking out the spark plugs to find them in bad condition after spending 40 dollars on new plugs the car ran fine, these mechanics don't do their homework nor are they worth their weight in salt. Dont waste money on these people its a scummy place to get repairs and not worth your dime please avoid. Wouldn't be surprised if the sodas in the lobby are overpriced as well. These are unreliable mechanics that shouldn't be trusted with filling up tires.

My check engine light came on outside of Medford and Valley View Auto was recommended to me by a tow driver. Matt was able to look at my car right away, quickly diagnosed the problem and had me back on the road the same day. These guys were very polite and explained the diagnostics professionally. Thank you again for your kindness, especially the day before Thanksgiving!

Brought my car in for mild misfires and jerkiness that happened on uphill acceleration starting from 0mph. They held my car for several days. When I later called, they told me I had major valve issues that would cost $5000+ to fix. I couldn't afford that. So I took my car back, after all, it was running fine otherwise, nothing alarming. I wanted a second opinion. But when I got it back, the engine was shaking and sputtering, the check engine light was on, the throttle warning light was on. They insisted they did nothing but replace a few spark plugs and things and that the car was running like that when I brought it in. I know for a fact it was not. When I drove it back home it barely reached 45mph, any faster and it felt like it would give out. They didn't charge me which I guess is good. But not charging me for ruining my car isn’t exactly charitable to me. My car was returned in far worse condition than it was, and they lied to my face that it wasn't. Even if there was a serious problem, with the way my car was running, I bet I could have gotten hundreds if not thousands of miles more out of it before critical problems. And suddenly there are critical problems. If there is a way to sue them I’ll find it, but for now I’ll say do not go to this shop.
